***January 2022 Thread*** - Kicking Off 2022 with WDW!

I keep looking at Amazon Fresh and they keep being out of stock of the items we need the most (our daily caffeine). I'd initially planned to go to a grocery store but, turns out, we're not comfortable doing that right now. I wonder if Instacart is a better option for us, at this point, for the peace of mind. We fly out Saturday, I guess I need to figure this out ASAP.
Not sure if this is helpful, but my last trip I did 2 orders: Walmart delivery on arrival day, then a much smaller Amazon delivery the next day to fill in what Walmart was out of stock on. Sounds fussy, but it was actually super easy and worth it to have the supplies we needed for the week.

Yeah, I was going to place an order with Walmart tomorrow for Sunday delivery for when I get there. I really want my Tuna pouches and Amazon fresh didn't have them!

We are going the first week in April. I wish we were going in Feb, as that's when we prefer to go, but my daughters marching band will be marching at Universal the week before. So we are only doing 3 days in the parks. Any "must" do for dinner reservations? Price is moderate to expensive ( we will probably do 1 on the high side, the rest mid to upper) Below are our dates:

Sunday Ap 2 Disney Springs/ MK
Monday Ap 3 Epcot
Tuesday Apr 4 HS

In the past we have done Brown derby, Coral Reef, Sci Fi, so maybe different options than those, or whatever the new thing is, as we haven't been in 7 years. Thanks in advance for any suggestions!

Following up on the Mears service. I think they should be sending another email with a QR code for my reservation to have scanned at MCO.

I am arriving next Friday.

Any insight when I should be expecting this email?

Kicking off full planning/packing mode now.

Thanks!

I'm curious how everyone is feeling about the Mears service or the other one that's coming up. Please share your experiences. I booked a private car service for this trip just because I'm only one person and I had heard Uber/Lyft was a little more complicated to come by right now and probably would be worse with the ending of ME, but I haven't decided yet for my September trip how I will work things.

Potential flight cancelations. Going through the what if's this weekend in case I miss half my trip because of delays

Honestly - and I speak from experience - the best thing to do is know what your other options are, from different airlines to different connecting airports.

(Our November trip to Disneyland had us missing our connection in Minneapolis and it was the last flight of the night. They wanted to put us on a plane the next day but we convinced them to let us fly to another airport)
