We've only got 7 more sleeps until we leave for the World!! I'm starting to worry like everyone else about there being more people there than I thought and also about the weather as this is our first trip there.

We went at the same time last year and it was lovely. It was just after the big freeze down there, and the mornings were a but chilly but it made for some gorgeous days. The crowds weren't bad at all. As long as school is in session, it should be fine. Have fun!

Okay, dumb question. How do you guys wear your Mickey heads? Do you just cut the lime green head out, write your screen name on it and pin it to your shirt? Never done a Dismeet and don't want to look like a dork.....LOL. Although, now when you see me you'll be thinking, "Hey, there's that dork!" Thanks!

I cut mine out, wrote my username on it. Then had some laminating paper and laminated it, so maybe by laminating it, I WILL BE THAT DORK! I think I will probably put a hole in it and use some ribbon to tie it to my purse....my Disney Dooney and Bourke that I gave myself for Christmas!

Ahhh we are leaving Wednesday night!!! NOTHING is packed, NOTHING is done around this house. Even now, I should be doing something, but I"m just here on the internet!!

We leave Thursday at 5am and I have packed, unpacked, packed, and second guessed everything that I put in the suitcases. In fact, I was so worried about not packing the right things that I got up waaaayyyy too early and I am doing a load of laundry to pack different things.

I think next time I will pack the morning of the trip.

Packing is half the fun to me. I put the suitcases out weeks ahead of time and start putting things in them. My daughter still has to finish packing her clothes and then the last minute things still have to go in. It does make for a lot of packing when you need to bring pants, shorts/capris, jackets, etc. We went in Feb. last year and FROZE! I am hoping we have some nice temps this time. We leave Thursday around noon, oh how I wish it was sooner! We are going to resort hop and stay at 3 different resorts this time. Poly is our favorite and I am afraid I will be in withdrawal. We are staying at POP first, then Coronado Springs and then Wilderness Lodge. Beach Club Concierge sounds awesome! I love staying in the Epcot area. I had Beach Club booked at first instead of WL but, my daughter really wanted to stay there so I switched them. I kinda wish I had kept the BC ressies though! Oh well, maybe next time.

We went in Feb last year and froze as well. I was not prepared for 30 degree weather in Florida! The funny part of our trip was I had Beach Club booked last year and panicked about my husbands job and changed our reservation to Coronado. We spent one night at Pop then moved to Coronado because we got a $59/night rate and if we flew out the night before we saved a lot on airfare. I hope you like WL, we enjoy it over there as well. I also like the poly, we plan on eating a few times at Kona and Captain Cooks.

The only thing that was difficult was the luggage transfer from Pop. We checked out at 8am and our luggage didn't show up until 4pm at Coronado. We should have grabbed a cab with the luggage, it would have been a lot less stress.

That's how I usually am! I don't know what is wrong with me this trip. I think maybe its cause this is the first BIG trip we've taken with DS at this age (last trip he took with us, he was nearly a baby still) anything I pull out or try to organize he immediately tears into and destroys! Ohhh 4 year old boys are so much fun LOL

I'm so late to the party! <3

This holiday season (2010) and into the new year has just been insane. I said we would get past my dh's January birthday and then I'd start really getting down to business with packing for disney.

I finalized my ADRs on Friday night with a CM by phone. I was having a HECK of a time pulling up the phone made ADRs and was starting to panic! Turns out my ressies were under my phone number from when we took a trip in college. It feels like a lifetime ago even though it's only been about 10 years since that trip. Anyway...that's all squared away.

We spent the morning packing and buying toiletries for the trip and I've packed up any meds we'll need while gone.

NOW...what do we bring to wear? It looks like it's going to be pretty mild but there's definately some chances for rain. I said was going to do all of the wash on Wednesday and spend Friday packing. Now I'm getting nervous about that...so I'm washing tonight after dd and ds are in bed and I'll pack on Wednesday.

My goal is to have everything done on Thursday so we can CHILL and hang out on Friday and I can clean up this pig stye.

What am I missing? I feel like I knew so much about WDW the last trip but I haven't done nearly the prep this time. It's gonna be alright...right?!
