January 2010 Room Only Codes?

Anyone who is brave enough to speculate? Do your think Disney will release room only codes ? I am hoping for a room only code for a Deluxe

I think we'll see them, but we will see AP room only discounts and Florida resident discounts first. Probably a pin room discount too (like this past January). Then after all of that, there will be some general public room codes. I'm waiting too! (for AP discounts)

We have a pretty good rate with AAA for Jan 17 at YC but am really hoping for a really, really good AP rate like this last January.

... it looks like the January 2009 room-only codes were released on 10/29/08 for AP rates, 10/30/08 for Florida residents and 12/4/08 for the rest of us lowly "general public" people.

I'm also waiting for a room-only discount code for January 2010 as we are staying 6 nights in 2 rooms at POP and we already have tickets to the parks so we could not take advantage of the 5/2 offer.

I currently have $59/night at POP factored into the budget for the trip. Here's to hoping I'm right!

You probably know this already, but you can still use the 7/4 promo if you are planning to go for 5 or 6 days, with 5 days you'd get 1 night free, with 6, you'd get 2 nights free. We did this last year stayed 5 got 1 free, but we got the $200 gift card too, so that made the pricing sweeter.

The marathon is usually the 2nd weekend in January....which would be the 8th & 9th in 2011. They have not yet announced the dates officially though.

FYI...Mousesavers showed Thursday, Jan. 7th as falling under the Marathon Weekend Rate, not the Value Rate (for those of you figuring your budget).

We are going Jan 2 - 10 to POFQ. I was able to do the 4/3, and had to buy the first night at holiday rates of 246 for the Sat night Jan 2nd. I was wondering if the room only would be cheaper if say the discount was 40%. Would that be 40% on all the nights of the trip, or would that first night be out, and would the marathon nights of Jan 1, 8, 9 be out or would they get discounted? Anyone figure this out yet, which would be the better deal?

i've been reading the boards, could anyone please help me understand how to use/get a discount code for room only. we are scheduled to go from 6 to 13 january, i'll need 2 rooms at disneyland hotel, hope to buy tickets thru military.

please, if you can help me plan this, yikes, it's a bit overwhelming. i'm trying to get 3 families together from different parts of the country.

i'll (gramzie) we'll be paying for the trip, want to have lots of memories, but a little cash left at the end.
