It is FREEZING here today! I think that today's high was supposed to be 25! I watched the Samantha Brown special last night that I had tivoed. I was almost in tears! The parks looked so beautiful, but I was more emotional about the fact that we will be there in 48 days! I just can't wait to surprise my DD. I think I might cry when we tell her!

Sadly, I beat you on the weather. It's 12 right now. I think that'll be the high. I did go out in it and it was snowing too. I'm happy to be back home, with the oven on to bake more cookies!!
It's so exciting to see WDW all decorated isn't it? Makes me want to be there now. I think we're going to try to go back next year near Thanksgiving even though we know it will be crowded. Trying to miss less school and we will have (hopefully) the three day cruise bounceback.

Isn't it so EXCITING?!?! Glad you've joined us. You get to spend a long time! We'll be gone from home two weeks, but only 6 days at WDW, 4 on a cruise, and 4 or 5 DRIVING! UGH!
I'm still watching the airfares for great deals. Maybe I'll get lucky and a couple of us will fly. DH has to drive to pick up his mom though. He likes driving. I worry about weather and boredom. I think I'll load some DIS podcasts and a couple movies on the ipod so when the kids are sleeping or watching their DVD, I have something to pass the time.

Is this supposed to be for the 5th or the 6th? I know it says the 6th, but you had LeCellier for the 6th and Brown Derby for the 5th. And the 6th is Tuesday. . . Just want to make sure I got it all right!

DH would have come if we could have spend some time on the drive, going "off the beaten path" on the way down and back. Unfortunately, d has to be back in school too early for us to do that unless we went during Christmas week, which we don't like to do - too many crowds. And then he couldn't get enough time off anyway.

DH got me a pink Sony Cyber Shot camera and gave it to me at the beginning of November so I could have it all figured out and ready to take lots of pictures of the kids getting their big surprise on Christmas morning!

Ohhhh - do tell! We have a saltwater tank that is DH's new favorite hobby (although our two attempts at bubble tip anemones have not worked out so well ). We'd love an automatic feeder - any recommendations???

We are fairly new to the wonderful world of saltwater tanks. It took us 3 attempts with blue leg hermits before we got it right. It's a VERY small tank so we are limited to what we can have. As far as automatic feeders, I couldn't even tell you what to get There is a saltwater store just down the road to us. I'm sure DH is going to go in and ask the owner what she recommends. I don't think they are very expensive. One for our tank will run about $30.

When I get it, I'll let you know what the brand is. Good luck with your anemones. Hopefully your tank will flourish in no time!

I thought I would join the January party. My DH and I will be at AKL Jan. 23-30th. This is the first trip without our boys since we were dating and lived near the world. This is actually the honeymoon we never had, plus we are celebrating both our birthdays as well. We are both very excited!! I hope to run into some of you while we're there!

Oh, and I just paid off the trip today!!! Only 47 more days til we get there!

After watching the Samantha Brown special, I definately have to go down at the holidays next time. I wouldn't mind going in early November. As long as the decorations are up, I'm all about it.

I'm still up for making a list for the end of the month Snowbirds. As of right now, I can't make any of the meets that Shelly has listed. If anyone will be there during the week of the 24th - 31st (you don't have to be there just those dates), I can make a list of who will be at what parks on certain days. I have no problem with just sending out the list in PM's. I love organizing and making lists!!!

I watched it today, too, and I agree! My boss wouldn't let me go this December, because I'm supposed to be "too busy" to take time off.

But my friend and I, who had planned to go this December, are considering next November, to see the Christmas stuff.

I will be there the 26th - 31st and would love to meet. I'l PM you my quasi itinerary. It's unofficial for the most part, and very flexible.

The obsession has set in. Im not even as excited about Christmas. I saved and stressed and pinched and when I paid off the trip on my debit card knowing I was paying cash, I was thrilled and I allowed myself to get excited, now I cant stop thinking about it! Glad Im done shopping for Christmas.

I too thought my boys were going to have a heart attack when I told them we were going without them, but after learning that Grammie, whom they don't get to see very often, is coming to stay with them while we are gone, they got excited about seeing her. I know I will miss them while I'm there, but I'm looking forward to spending time with DH alone!
