:yay: I'm thinking we need a bit more information!! If I recall, you'd been having trouble with yours - looks like Santa knows just what we need and want! :santa:

Yes, I think "Santa" got tired of listening to me complain about this one!! :rotfl:

I got a Laptop! :goodvibes

It's a Toshiba. I haven't had very good luck with my Dell. So we went to Best Buy and they were having a great sale on the Toshiba model. They are coming on Tuesday to get me all set up with the wireless stuff! :yay: I was going to junk this Dell and get a new desktop, but it does still work, just not right and very slow. At least this way I will have it for the kids to play their games on and stuff like that.

Yay! How generous of Santa to deliver early!!!
We have a Dell and it was delivered and immediately didn't work. I spent 14 (no lie) hours on the phone with help people and we've had 4 different hard drives before it actually worked. So - good job on your Toshiba!

DH has gone for his annual golf trip, so I'm home with the twins. It is easier this year but I'm still counting down the days. I'm taking them to the Nutcracker by myself tomorrow, so if we actually arrive at the theater, I'm considering it a success.

Hope all is going well!

Yes, when I got my Dell about 6 years ago it didn't work right away either. I was on the phone with some guy from India or somewhere that I could barely understand for hours and hours. What a pain. From then on it has gone in spurts - it works great for months, then is doesn't. :confused3

Have fun tomorrow at the Nutcracker! :goodvibes

Awesome!! We too have a Dell desktop and it has been decent, now slowing down. So about a year and a half ago we got a Toshiba laptop and I LOVE IT! I only use the desktop when I absolutely have to! The kids use it for their games and I have some programs that are only on that computer, but mostly I sit with the laptop on the couch and be comfy! It's parked in the kitchen so I can hop on and DIS while I'm baking (like now).

I made cut out sugar cookies earlier. Don't be too impressed, I used refrigerated dough! But I thougt the DDs would want to help. DD5 helped cut out for a while, but it took too long. Then some neighbor girls came to play, so they were lost for the afternoon. Of course they all came running when I decorated and frosted them! Now I'm working on Chocolate Crinkles, and I had to put the dough outside to firm up! Something wasn't quite right, but I made some and they taste okay to me, so we'll go with them! Probably one or two more rounds left. I'm ready to park with my feet up and read my Passporter!

That's my plan exactly! :thumbsup2

You gals are way too ambitious for me! I know I should bake because I want to try to make truffles as gifts for the aunts in the family, but I am just not quite in the mood. Our house is decorated and looks fantastic, but as far as the extra stuff...It'll get done that weekend before Christmas. If I didn't procrastinate, I wouldn't feel like I accomplished anything! :confused3
I prefer to be doing this :surfweb: since the kids are watching Drake and Josh Christmas (I know, I'm such a traitor watching Nick instead of Disney)! :rotfl2:

Congratulations - I love it when Santa's early, or late or right on time...I'm not picky!

Sorry about your Dell -- I love mine and have had it for 4[?] years. Now, my DSL connection is quite another story - lots of phone calls to India on that one....

So, I'm a little behind - what's the story about your new camera? Have you gotten it yet? Are you getting it? What are you getting?

I love gadgets - especially ones that I don't have to figure out.

That sounds like so much fun!

I love the new Disney commercials. My favorite is the little boy sitting in class.
You guys must be just bursting at the seams! I would not be able to handle that. I love being in all the planning stages, but I also think it would be great for someone to just look at me and say "hey guess what we're doing today..."

Everyone MUST let us know how The Big Unveil goes! *Pictures are greatly suggested however not mandatory!*

Now wait a minute - as far as I'm concerned, pictures are most definitely mandatory! :rotfl2: We all have to know how these stories come out!

I think I am missing something here..... what's a Sag?

Right, it's a Saggitarian - all those of us born between Nov. 22 and Dec. 21.

Yes, I think "Santa" got tired of listening to me complain about this one!! :rotfl:

That's great! Congrats!

Just in time, too - I've made one more change to my dining reservations. Don't hit me, please! :scared1: I've decided to get the annual pass and the Tables in Wonderland. Since the discount doesn't work with the Fantasmic! package (which I booked since I was worried about getting seating for Fantasmic with only 2 shows a week), I decided to forego the package and take our chances at seating. I booked Brown Derby for lunch instead. I feel a little better about it since I had a choice of times; maybe Fantasmic! won't be all that busy. :worship:

So the change: Monday, 1/6: Brown Derby, 1:05.

:santa: :cool1: Santa got me a new computer!!!!! :cool1: :santa:

Yahoo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:cool1:
Sorry you haven't had much luck with the dell. It's all we own in this house. We've had a few other brands and I at one point was up to shipping back my 7th computer from them. It was ridiculous. So we now stick with dells. It also helps that my brother is really great with computers and when it's time for a new one, he actually "builds" his own, so he knows exactly what is being put in them!

So I got some mail today.....

We've already decided that my father will get the "Grumpy" one, and my brother will get the Mickey one. So my mother and I have to decide who gets Cinderella and who gets Tinker Bell.

Are those the standard cards now that they are using for the tickets into the parks? We got those images on our MMVCP tickets...exactly 2 years ago today. How cool!
Just got back from WalMart...my DD's are going to build some gingerbread houses tonight. One was pre-packaged with the icing and candies included. Tomorrow, they are going to try to make one from scratch. A couple of years back, I bought a stone gingerbread house form from Pampered Chef...and it's only been used 1 time. I love that my DD's love to do baking at such an early age.

I haven't planned it out exactly but I think we are going to do it Christmas morning after all the gifts have been opened. I'm leaning towards a scavanger hunt with clues in all the boxes or each box spelling out the surprise. I even thought about hiding a tiny little box up in the back of the tree and then after all the gifts and mayhem has died down pointing out the little box. Inside I'd roll up a long note/scroll with the announcement?

See ya'll later....I'm off to Target! :lmao: :rotfl: :rotfl2:
That is a good idea also. I thought about giving it at christmas, but I want to tell on that day.
That sounds like so much fun!

You will get a video from me and pictures. I am bursting like crazy!
The last two weeks I have been going nuts with disneyness. I keep saying crazy things to them, but they think I am nuts anyway!

I think I am missing something here..... what's a Sag?
Yes, it is a sagittarius!

So I got some mail today.....

Oh they are so cute! I love the grumpy one!

Congrats on the new computer Shelly!! My laptop is a Toshiba and I LOVE IT!!!!

:santa: :cool1: Santa got me a new computer!!!!! :cool1: :santa:

That Santa is an awesome guy! He always know what to get! Like so many others, I, too, have a Toshiba laptop and LOVE IT. The only thing I don't like is the shiney blue finish. It catches fingerprints like crazy and always looks dirty.

I'm hoping that Santa brings me an automatic feeder for our saltwater tank. That way I don't have to have someone come in twice a day for our stinkin' fish! LOL

I am also jealous of those of you with access to the Disney travel shows. I have yet to find them on my tv service. I don't know why they don't run them as I would think they would have universal information and many Canadians do travel to WDW.

Remmy

Remmy- I agree with you, not having these Disney Travel shows is frustrating. I would love to see them. You are lucky to have all that time off.
Were abouts in Canada are you? PM me and let me know - we're both canadians, with 9 yo DDs and a love of Disney:banana:

Hope you found your tree!

We love the Crystal Palace breakfast! :goodvibes We don't really care about the characters there (although they are always very fun and interactive :) ) but the buffet is huge and clean, the food is great, and we have aways had excellent service there! And it is a huge plus to get into MK before opening! :thumbsup2

Agree 100%. When we last went dd was 7 so Pooh was big on her list. Now she still likes Pooh ( as do we). We have all agreed the Crystal palace, the Food (Pooh's breakfast lasagna) and the walk up mainstreet is the best part of this breakfast. This has been our only character breakfast, this trip we plan on doing them all! We like the breakfast offerings more than the dinner or lunch! Mind you we are also on the deluxe, so bring on ALL meals! :rotfl:

Morning...I'm having my favorite AM weekend routine. Andy and kids are still sleeping, I'm drinking my coffee and watching my DVR's shows (except for some reason this week CSI was the only new one, I guess Criminal Minds was a repeat last week).

My weekend with nothing to do got busy. Going to MIL's for lunch for my I'mnotreallyhavingabirthdaytomorrow lunch, then I forgot about Drew's St Nick Night play at school tonight! So that means I actually have to SHOWER and put makeup on today! CRAP! :rotfl:

Luckily for me my kids are totally oblivious. :confused3 They are both good readers, but I think they get too distracted by all the bouncing smilies on the screen to bother reading what I am typing!!

:rotfl: :lmao:  :rotfl2:

My dd is the same way... she loves seeing everyone's signatures.
