I got mine figured out...just right click on someone who's jingle Mickey is working and click on properties...then copy the address that comes up. Then go to the insert image button in you Edit Signature box (its the yellow button with a mountain), paste the link and it should work.

Trixie, that Charlie Brown tree is absolutely adorable! Has Charlie Brown Christmas been on yet? I always miss it!

Sharadoc and Sheree I want to come and eat at your houses! minus the creepy fish! I had a friend in high school whose parents were Armenian (dad) and Lebanese (mom) and the food was to die for!!!! Yum!!!! Grandma would have us help her with the Baklava (sp?)..so good! ....I'm going to start drooling here in a second!

When I was little our neighbors were Lebanese too. I have the most wonderful memories of tasty fresh savory foods! Yum!

Hi all, just checking in. My boys have been screaming all evening so I'm going to try to get them in the bath then bed. Hubby had a client then he's going to work out, so who knows when he'll be home! We have SO much laundry to do from the weekend...it all got washed but needs to be folded so I won't be spending hours in the morning searching for clean socks!! Here's my countdown...
1 day until our "date" anniversary (14 years)
6 days until St. Nick's Night at Drew's school.
7 days until my "I'm not celebrating this" bday.
10 days until Keaton's preschool program.
24 days until Christmas
53 days until we start the drive...
and 54 days until we get to CBR!!!!

Oh! That Christmas Mickey is so cute! I still haven't been jingled. Anyways...I started my Christmas cards tonight and I'm about 2/3rds of the way through. I got my address labels in the mail today! Woo hoo! Now, I just need to buy some holiday stamps. I hope they have some good ones this year!

I'm starting to freak out a little bit. Christmas is rapidly approaching and so is Disney. I'm not at ALL complaining, I just feel like I have so much left to do. Actually, I just need park tickets. I need to call and confirm everything too. I'll probably do that multiple times. I've made so many lists lately that I'm completely listed out. I just need to calm down, that's all. For the past few months, I kept saying I was going to do a PTR come November. Well, Nov has come and passed and alas, no ptr. If I get a second to breathe, maybe I'll write down some thoughts.

Come on up!! I keep joking that I'm going to have to actually try to make this stuff myself, since I just go to my mom's for the yummies. I suppose that's true - someday! Actually, there should be a lot of Armenians near you. Houston has quite a population. I think it was Sarbah though, not Sharadoc.

For those that want jingle mickey - go to JenJolt's post #1201. You don't have to have someone send it to you. Just go to User CP and do what she says. Click on the little yellow box button and type in the URL that is in that post. (I wrote it down!) It worked for me! Good Luck!

Yeah, I did it first try!! Just FYI, when you highlight and copy the url, if it copies the http://, you may have to erase it because since that part automatically comes up it will be http://http://, then the link won't work properly.

Yeah, it was me. I should get my mom to teach me some of it, too. Next year, perhaps, I'll take a longer Christmas vacation and spend some time with that. She did show me how to do the stuffed grape leaves, so I can probably recreate that, easily. I do miss the cracker bread - I can't find that near me!

Well, it snowed a little more last night. And yesterday's snow melted a bit and then refroze. It was surprisingly slick on the roads today and I, a classic dummy, wore two inch heels to work... and I have a meeting across campus. If I change to my back-up sneakers, my pants will drag on the ground.

WHAT'S A GIRL TO DO?!?

(I should also note that the roads are still untreated. Town doesn't plow the roads for less than 3" of snow. I'm trying to figure out how the first 3" aren't dangerous, but what do I know?) (I should also ALSO note that yesterday, on wet but not slick roads, everyone drove 20mph. Today on icier roads, everyone drove 50. Gotta love it!)

And my first Christmas gifts have shipped! Woohoo!

Good Morning snowbirdies!!!
Wow! I woke up to solid frost today!! It was about 30something at 5:30 this a.m.--it's 7:30 now and it is still pretty frosty here!! All the little rooftops and yards are iced--I love it!!!! I know it's suppose to warm up by tomorrow noon--and rain Yuck! My kiddos have a 9:00 appt at the dentist-so I hope it doesn't rain till we get finished.Well, we did lots of errands, grocery shopping & all that yesterday, so we can rest and do absolutely NOTHING today-unless we want too!!! This is what I 'll be doing for a bit longer!!! Hope you all have a blessed day and stay warm and toasty!!!

Ok I really don't want to offend you. However every time I read the word "Chanukah" I think you are saying Chrismikah. It was the holiday that they celebrated on The OC. I need to learn to actually read these post, not just skim them!

No offense taken! I know lots of families that celebrate Chrismikah! In our house, though, we're both born Jewish (no problem with the inlaws over how to raise the kid! ), and there are just a few intermarriages (and there's no fight in those marriages about where to spend Christmas or Passover! )

I just don't like the "other" spellings for the holiday (Hanukah or Hanukkah or Hannukah), so I'll keep confusing people with Chanukah! And if anyone wants to know anything about it, please PM me or I'll answer questions here!

You can also just paste the URL into your signature box, without using the "image" button, and put

at the end. Remember the brackets, though, or it won't work!
