AWWW, Shawna - so lucky are you! :) Enjoy the show. I love the Nutcracker. We have a local production that I have taken my DDs to.

Meghan, I am jealous! 1) you have GS cookies (although I got to eat some at my meeting last night!) and 2) you can dance in the Nutcracker!! I took dance when I was really little, and then in high school and always wished I could be in it!

Jen- I entered the Alamo contest too. Why not?

Shelly - I didn't get to go to WDW until I was 29. (although it was still the 90s - barely!) I'm definitely making up for my lost childhood years!! :)

I can't wait to eat my thin mints tonight!! I don't mean to rub it in....well, okay. Maybe I do, but just a little! As for The Nutcracker, I've been taking ballet since I was 5 yrs old. Growing up, I always wanted to be a professional ballerina. That dream never came true, but I've switched gears and am now a professional dance team. I will NEVER stop dancing or stop being involved with dance. Speaking of dance, I have to teach ballet tonight and have not choreographed a single thing! Maybe I should go do that now!

I just went to the AG website and got a pop up for free shipping, including Canada. Check it out!

Oh, man, you got me all excited. But the popup says "Canadian and/or rush charges, as well as surcharges for large items, are additional."

Customs is also a problem - or at least a potential problem. I appreciate the thought - but I think I'd better go with the U.S. address to be safest. I'll happily enjoy the free shipping to that one, though!

Thanks, now I don't feel so bad. I'm not the only one who never got to go to WDW as a child. Although I was a little older than 29 when I first went. Not much, but still. :rotfl:

It's no problem. Like we say, "We're married, not dead." No harm in looking. You guys have good taste in men (I'm secure enough in my manhood to say that), how about a photo of (your normal suspects) Halle Berry or Jennifer Aniston?;)

Wow, wow, wow is it ever tougher to find DIS appropriate pics of women than men! :scared1:

How about People's Sexiest Man of 2008? Hugh Jackman? :lovestruc

Sorry, I guess I read just a little bit and probably too fast! Based on my earlier screwup with my online ordering/shopping, no one should listen to me today!

Do they have any new cookies for this year? Or is that classified information?

As a matter of fact... I can tell you that at least in our region, they have discontinued the All Abouts, which were like shortbread with chocolate on the bottoms (great for smores) and added a new one called Dulce de Leche. It is a crisp cookie with carmel flavor and carmel icing striped on the top. Not too bad. I thought they'd be pretty good with coffee or tea.

I see I'm closing in on my 400th post! I have to go home now and take my kids to the AG store (JUST TO LOOK) so maybe I'll get back on tonight and hit 400. Have a good evening everyone!!

Yes Jen. I am one of those people. I get mine tonight when I go to teach ballet!!!

Awesome! I take my DD to The Nutcracker every year. When I lived in Syracuse, I was in the Moscow Ballet's Nutcracker two years in a row. They always audition local children for minor roles. It was so much fun! Then, when I moved here, my ballet studio started their own Nutcracker, so I was in that for 4 years. I nearly cry every year I see it because I miss being in it so much. I hope that you and your DD have a fabulous time! Enjoy!

You going to share with me???? :guilty:

I'm sooo confused:confused3, don't they know we all have plans to make!;) I think Disney is reading this thread and messing with us!

I agree!!

They just went and extended the Animal Kingdom Hours on Sunday January 18th from 5pm to 7pm. LOL its like watching the code thread!

:lmao:

Oh boy, so now I am sitting here thinking what am I going to do with my two 12 year old DDs my 18 year old DD and my girlfriend who is celebrating her bday with me too down there...on the early nights? With my DH's layoff Cirque is out of the question. If it is not cold then maybe the pool a few times, and DDT...but then what? Any ideas?

How about early to bed to be able to catch rope drop?!?!

And the second thing -I was away from the computer yesterday because it was my birthday. And guess what I learned from this board? I guess I share a birthday with a pretty cool peep. :rotfl2:
