Sadly, I don't even know if that existed back in the 70's-early 80's or not! But if it did then that's the one she meant. If not, there was something like it, and it just made her get all teary-eyed (but in a happy way!). :)

[And my big news today: I survived the layoffs occuring in my department today, so I'm still employed  [/COLOR]

Congratulations!!! :dance3:  Doing the happy dance for you - there is nothing better in this economy that a job. I feel for those of you that have mentioned layoffs in your family. :sad1:

I'll admit...I got involved...why do people care so much if we decorate some windows.

You were right. Some people need to gripe about stuff. Can't let others have fun if they don't approve. I say tough beans (ahem). I didn't respond on that thread, because I don't want that person to think his opinion matters to me. HA!

I saved over $10.00 in coupons the other day when I went grocery shopping...I love to buy groceries and the best part is that two ladies at work know I cut coupons and they save them for me so I get double the coupons often on stuff I buy!

Just got an email from Alamo rental cars - you can register to win a trip for 4 to either WDW or DL! What will you celebrate? promotion! I would celebrate actually winning something!

I got that email a few days ago...I went ahead and entered it can't hurt right LOL :rotfl:

Alrighty folks, have a little bragging to do!! Mike called me around lunch and here's our conversation:
"Hey, whatcha doin'?"
ME: "School--working on math w/dd. What r u doin'?"
Mike: "Surprising my wife!"
At this point I thought, yay! He's in the driveway!!!
Me: "What, what -are you here?"
Mike:"No, but I got you and dd something. Tickets for tonight to go see the Nutcracker --the Russian Ballet is in town!"
Me:" Are you serious? Oh my word!! WOW!!!"
Mike:" And that's not all---with your bf Stephanie and her 2 little girls"
Me"WHAT!!! Why? Have you talked to Steph?"
Mike:" Yep, she's just as excited as you!!! I wanted to ask her before I told you and then she couldn't go. As for why, because you deserve it and I wanted to give it to you."

Is that awesome or what??!?!?!? I just love that man!! I must say I was quite speechless for a bit!!! He doesn't do BIG things like that without me knowing anything about it very often. I am quite aware of what goes on around here!! I am hard to surprise. But, he did it at the office this morning. So, I just wanted to tell you all my good news and brag on my Princely Husband!! It was such a Disney Prince kind-of-thing to do, I knew you would all appreciated it!!!! Okay, gotta go finish chores so I can enjoy those Russian ballet dancers free of guilt!!!!!!

I'm excited for you that you have a store now! I have to place an online order SOON for my sister/us for the kids - I'll have it delivered to my stepdaughter's place in MI to avoid the horrific shipping surcharges. But I'd better get it done THIS WEEK. Such a shame they're retiring Samantha and Nellie.

I just went to the AG website and got a pop up for free shipping, including Canada. Check it out!

I swore I wouldn't but I started a PTR! I have so much excess excitement over the trip, I guess I had to focus it somewhere.

I can understand now why everyone does it; it's pretty fun!:yay:

  WOW!! What a nice thing to do!!!! Enjoy the Nutcracker, it is one of my favorite scores ever!!!!

ooooh she ratted us out! You'll have to ask Trixie for the eye-candy. She's our supplier!

It's no problem. Like we say, "We're married, not dead." No harm in looking. You guys have good taste in men (I'm secure enough in my manhood to say that), how about a photo of (your normal suspects) Halle Berry or Jennifer Aniston?;)

Also, we haven't found any new info on the P&PP parties, let’s hope for everyone there still a go.

There are people getting their cookies already??? I need to meet these people!!! :rotfl:

Yes Jen. I am one of those people. I get mine tonight when I go to teach ballet!!!

Awesome! I take my DD to The Nutcracker every year. When I lived in Syracuse, I was in the Moscow Ballet's Nutcracker two years in a row. They always audition local children for minor roles. It was so much fun! Then, when I moved here, my ballet studio started their own Nutcracker, so I was in that for 4 years. I nearly cry every year I see it because I miss being in it so much. I hope that you and your DD have a fabulous time! Enjoy!

I don't know if it was there then or not. I never got to go to Disney until 2005! :scared1: I know!! But now I have a lot of making up to do!!!! :goodvibes :rotfl:

I went to add you to the Snowbird list but realized I don't know your dates. . .
