Christmas- I'm done shopping just need to wrap. It was easier this year since we are going light. Cards are next on my list. The card part is easy. It's the picture part that's tough. I would love a family pic. We haven't had one taken since my daughter joined our clan!

And my big news today: I survived the layoffs occuring in my department today, so I'm still employed

They had them posted (had started Feb.20)...tickets were supposed to go on sale Nov 7...but Disney removed the dates...not sure if or when they will post new dates.

There is a nasty rumor going on over at the "Theme Parks Attractions and Strategies" thread stating that Disney had decided to pull the plug on the P&PP for all of 2009. I hope that’s not true for all the folks planning on going (even if we don't get one in January).

There is a nasty rumor going on over at the "Theme Parks Attractions and Strategies" thread stating that Disney had decided to pull the plug on the P&PP for all of 2009. I hope that’s not true for all the folks planning on going (even if we don't get one in January).

That would be horrible...to release the dates and then take them down and say no P&P parties at all...I mean were people able to buy tickets already???

We ate at Sci-Fi in May. LOVED it!! The food was good and the atmosphere was great!! Lots of fun! We will definitely go back there.

My DH has been asking for this one for years, so we're finally going. I'm glad it sounds like a good time!!

Take it easy today! I'm glad you have such an understanding boss. There is no such thing as "up and at 'em" when surgery is involved!

Thank you!! I had my crankypants on (I'm so so so so x forever tired) when my coworker dragged me out to lunch. She was going to go to Taco Bell, but I wanted a burrito from a burrito joint, so we went there instead. It was really nice - she sat and listened to me complain and then I got tired of complaining so we talked about fun stuff.

Sarah - Look at it this way, you get to take it easy for two weeks! Milk it if you can! It's nice that your boss is so understanding. My boss had a similar surgery about a year ago, and she thought she'd be up and working faster too. It took her a while to feel like herself and be able to eat what she used to. Hang in there!

I'm sort of a stiff upper lip type of person sometimes... so it's frustrating to not be 100%. But I feel better knowing I shouldn't be!!

We are planning to take the DDs to the Mall of America tonight to check out the new American Girl Doll store. Yikes! Can't go on the weekends - it's crazy crowded now. I'm sure their Christmas list will get longer! But they too have been warned about Santa, the Disney trip, budgets and big ticket items. DD7 says, Well, Santa can make us a Wii, so you don't have to buy that for us. Then you and Daddy can buy us a new AG doll! Okay...

I'm excited for you that you have a store now! I have to place an online order SOON for my sister/us for the kids - I'll have it delivered to my stepdaughter's place in MI to avoid the horrific shipping surcharges.
