OKAY LADIES!! If I did my math correctly...this thread started at 9:15am Dis time and I'm rounding up a bit here but in 3 hours its about 12:15pm DIS time we have put up 6 pages...that is roughly 2 pages an hour...so at this rate we should reach 250 in approximately 125 hours...which then divided by 24 hours...is about 5 days...so ummm..that means thread V will need to be ready by Monday!!!!! LOL

I literally laughed out loud when I saw the calculations!!!!

This is me with math I changed my major while getting my undergrad degree because I couldn't do the math. Unfortunately, biochemists need to have some math knowledge WTH!! That's why I'm a special educator


What a chatty bunch today! I love coming here and am going to be so sad when our trips are over.

Has anyone started to think about all the little odds and ends that make a trip more comfortable? I need to get all my little stuff together.

Last trip we took a stick of Body Glide (get your minds out of the gutter) for the back of our heels. Tons of assorted baggies for Backpack organizational needs....we kept the autograph books, pens, etc. in one bag, bandaids...chapstick...kleenex in another. wet panchos in the gallon size...

Any other ideas?

It's all the little details that are making me loose sleep at night! I've started to make a check list, seriously! Coffee Filters (the four cup kind) for those people (like me) who hate the idea of waking up to {insert shudder} ugh, NESCAFE, yuck!

QOTD: It would definitely have to be James Marsden. I know since i'm a pastor, I should say something like Jesus or Martin Luther. But hey, i'm a woman aren't I?!

I absolutely James Marsden! He is one of the only reasons why I watched ALL 3 X-Men movies! Hairspray is my current fave! Love that Corney Collins!

Me thinks it is going to be a tradition that at the start of each new thread that Trixie provides us with some very delightful eye candy!!!

Now I'm starting to fell all tingly in certain places! I would say enough is enough, but I am enjoying it too much! Bring on more pictures Trixie!

If you are ever in my area around Christmas time and you hear way too loudly I want a Hippopatumus for Christmas blaring in some woman's car and a lady rocking out to it even louder...pretend you don't know me LOL

QOTD ??? That's a hard one----I loooove the pictures of Johnny Depp--thank you Trixie!!--but, could I actually have a conversation with a man that looked like that? Yikes, I'd forget what we were talking about!! Ha!!! He is gorgeous. Of course , my hubby doesn't get it- he always says (of Capt. Jack)"He's soo.....dirty." Ha!! Back from the dentist - DD7 did pretty well - no cavities, although whenever the dentist mentions that she may need braces around 12 yrs old, she starts crying. Jeez.

The girls are off to gymnastics and I get to go to a Girl Scout Cookie manager meeting. Yippee. Yup, I'm a cookie mom! Thankfully we have only 6 girls in our troop or my garage wouldn't be big enough to sort all the cookies!

I'm a leader for a troop of 11 4th grade Juniors and our Cookie mom is doing it again this year for the 4th year in a row. two years ago we had 14 girls and were the 2nd highest selling troop in the area. Our Cookie Mom had her entire game room filled!

When are you scheduled to start sales? We haven't heard yet and I wonder if it's due to Hurricane Ike causing things to be delayed or backed up? Our website still lists Jan.12 (this year on a Monday) as our start date and that was last years start on a Saturday. They just asked for us to forward Cookie mom info about 2 weeks ago, But I haven't heard a thing.

QOTD: I would love to see Julie Andrews as her voice and movies are my favorite musicals...however, to see a hot body...I don't think I could contain myself! The pictures of the hot bodies are making me hot! Since I stare at inmates all day..yuck!

Well, I noticed that there are Snowbird meets!!Yay! Midnight ride at the Haunted Mansion.. I will miss by 2 days...but I will have to see what I can do about the rest of the week.

I'm the cookie mom, too. I just asked our leader and our sale is going to be a month later this year. Usually it starts the second week of January and this year it isn't starting until February. We're going to have a lot of people antsy for their cookies! And it also means that I CAN be the cookie manager, otherwise our trip could have serioulsy interfered.
