I leave for a few minutes to get my chores done and come back to pics of VERY good looking men! What a treat!!! I don't like coffee but after seeing that picture I could learn to love it!!!:thumbsup2 :lovestruc

Hey, a travel agent is only good if the travel agent gets you what you need! I'd only wait until the end of the day and then book myself were I in your situation, so that the AP rooms aren't all gone. (And yes, I'd book first, then cancel, just to be safe - to heck with what they think!!!)
ooooooh I'm telling on you.....I'm reporting you to the not so friendly person on the code watch thread...just kidding- I'm not a tattle tale!
:woohoo: :woohoo: DH won the costume contest! :woohoo: :woohoo:
Congrats Trixie! Enjoy the candy and hopefully some ofthe prize money! :thumbsup2

Gotta run more chores await! :laundy: Perhaps a cold shower first!

Oops I forgot to share...read this over on the code watch thread and thought it was interesting...especially about the Jan bookings being down too. Perhaps some good discounts are in store for all of us Snowbirds!!! Okay now I am REALLY going this time!

"I spoke to my TA earlier......basically, my friends, it sounds like we're out of luck for today.

I don't want to share too much of what she said without her permission, but basically it sounds like discounts open up at 7 a.m. on the date they are released. Now being past noon in my neck of the woods, she pretty much told me to go home, relax and have a nice weekend.

Ugh. Another few days to wonder what the discount will be!

That said, it certainly did sound as if there would, eventually, be something. And she mention that bookings were down for the month of January, which suggests that the discount may be attractive.

So hope springs eternal for all us faithful code watchers. But it doesn't sound like there will be any treats from Disney in time for Halloween."

Here you go! Enjoy!

I'll take one of each please!!!

Okay, I did it. I finally gave in and called. I still had the room only ressie. I swore I was waiting until the codes came out to change it to a package. Well I also thought that the codes would be out by the end of October. . . So I broke down and called. It was pretty painless I guess. I talked to a nice lady who booked my package and cancelled my room ressie. No codes. Not shocking! She assured me that if they come out I can call back and they will adjust my ressie. :goodvibes

One thing she said to me that didn't make any sense was that Southwest will not let Disney pick up our bags at the airport anymore when we use ME. What is up with that??? Has anyone heard that one??? I told her that they did this in May and she said - oh I guess they stopped doing it since then because they don't do it. If that's true that really stinks! Because that is part of the luxury of ME, not having to wait on your bags. I wouldn't even know where to go to pick up my bags at MCO. We always get off the plane and head straight for the ME check-in.

I'm hoping someone knows if this is true or not. . . :confused3 Maybe I should ask on the transportation board. . .

Well, the good news is now that I called and made my ressie the codes are bound to come out!!!!!! :rotfl:

Congrats Shelly..... the TA called and said that was the price.... WRONG... in the mean time I called Disney and asked them to price it out... it was $606.40 difference...... so I called her back..... :scared1: when will this end....:rotfl: oh well.... at least I am getting some cleaning done.... clean a room ...come DIS.... clean a room.... deal with TA.... come DIS....see hot men....take cold shower.....clean a room...... its really turning out to be not such a bad day;)

Shelly that stinks but doesn't surprise me My mom just flew to DC from Madison non stop & wasn't even offered soda or water!! On the plane for almost 2 hours & no drinks. The airlines are really cheapskating out anymore.

They probably laid off the people that sorted the bags with the Mickey Tags on them

Shelly,
Thank you for posting this menu. It is one of our ADRs for our resort hopping day. We really want to explore the Boardwalk area too. This will be our first time experiencing a mostly seafood restaurant. We want to know what it is suppose to taste like, as we think this should be a good one.

Has any Snowbird eaten here before? Any good reviews for supper?

Thanks Remmy

Must say the wonderful pics posted sure made my lunch hour!! Now to just get through the last 3 hours of the day. Then I have to try to tackle Wally World in order to get groceries and get ready for tonight YAY!!

We've only been there for breakfast. The food was good. We had a bad waitress though. :confused3

OOOOHHH I have a QOTD Whom do you think is Disney's "hottest" star

I love Orlando Bloom. I think Johnny Depp is an amazing actor and easy on the eyes, but I'm a sucker for an Aussie boy!!!!

Looking for her Prince Charming

The teachers say Belle and the little blonde boy in front of her are kind of
sweet on eachother. I say she's only having 'boy friends' and not 'boyfriends' until she's 20!!!!

Yeah, well - good luck with that! :rotfl2:

Yeah, well - good luck with that! :rotfl2:

Last week her little friend Aidan walked up and kissed her on the lips. I nearly fell out! Belle and her three little girl friends (See-wah, Aba and Rabie aka Sarah, Ava and Railey) are in a 'kissy-huggy' phase and give each other a kiss goodbye every afternoon. Aidan didn't want to be left out.

My faith in TA is restored.... she was finally able to get the passholder rate applied.... yikes... I was getting worried.... she did tell me if a Disney Visa promotion came out I would have to pick one or the other... she said the agent at Disney she talked to said IF they came out with one the passholder rate would be better..... but if it was free dining then I think that is better!!! Lets cross our fingers for FREE DINING!!!!!
