Momof2disneyboys and Mari360 when we met at Chef Mickey's in May!

My LGMH will be attached to one of my two strollers- yes I'm taking two- don't yell. Apparently some people don't like strollers in WDW and have comments to make about "older" children in strollers. Sorry but my son will be just shy of 5 when we go and it's going to be way too much walking for him. Sorry, stepping off the soap box now.:rolleyes1

Monny2AE you wont regret taking that stoller for the oldest believe me!!! The first 2 years we went we splurged (at my mom's idea) and got the doubles there. Life saver!! DD was 5& 6 at the times & it was a relief not to have a fussy tired little girl to deal with. Plus we could walk faster with them in there LOL

Suppose to hit 65 here!! Awesome for trick or treating!!

My Friday Countdown ~

I am very sad that there aren't any more soccer games on my countdown. :sad1: I really love watching my boys games! I bet everyone here is glad soccer season is over and you don't have to listen to me talk about it anymore! :rotfl:

1 Week until DH and I go to Seven Springs :cloud9:

4 Weeks until Thanksgiving and DH's birthday :goodvibes

8 Weeks until Christmas :santa: and we tell the kids about the trip!! :yay: :yay:

Less than 12 WEEKS until Disney!!!! :woohoo:

Nah Shelly!! I actually enjoyed hearing how your boys did at soccer games?? Do they play any sports in the spring??

Thanks Jen! :goodvibes

They play spring soccer too. But it's not until April. DS9 was going to try basketball this winter but then decided to wait another year. They have both tried baseball and thought it was boring (sorry to all the baseball fans :) ) Just too much standing around for 2 active little boys! DS9 tried wrestling one winter, he didn't care for it either. So it's just spring and fall soccer for now - Sept & Oct and Apr & May.

Hey everyone!

I always try to research before I ask a question but I'm at work and.......:guilty: can't so here goes..

Is there any special event going on the last two weeks of Jan such as cheerleading, dance groups etc?

Thanks in advance for your responses!

I know my little lazy bones won't make it. We went to Hershey over the summer and just took a stroller for my daughter and ended up pushing him in it and carrying her by the end of the day. I thought about just renting a double but my daughter is only one and still naps so I want something comfy that reclines for her. Plus the $$$$ they charge now! We're driving so packing the two strollers we already own is much cheaper and easier. The stroller I'm taking for him is really lightweight umbrella kind that holds up to 55lbs. (Combi) and has a strap to throw it over your shoulder to carry it. I also rigged it- yes I've already been practicing- so that if he doesn't use it I can put the bottom wheels of Combi in the basket of the big Graco and bungee it to the top so we don't have to push an empty stroller. Please tell me that made sense?

That's a fantastic idea! All we have is a huge double jogger (that I love and worked WONDERFULLY last year). We're planning on taking this year, and we're driving for the first time, so DH has decided I need a bigger car so we have room for the stroller and our luggage (OH, and the kids, too I guess)!! :rotfl2: :rotfl2: He thinks it's time for a minivan, but I'm worried about the gas mileage if I have to drive it everyday to work! Any suggestions?

Makes sense to me. But FYI they can lie down in the disney ones. we used sweatshirts as a pillow laid the little guy down & covered him up. BUt he was also only 1 & 2 each trip & a peanut to start.:rolleyes1

No suggestions from me- I'm dying to get a minivan. I have a teeny tiny Ford Focus right now. We'll be taking my hubby's truck so we have room- can you say gas hog...oh and did I mention it's a diesel and diesel prices are higher than regular. I'm still cooking up a plan to get my minivan by January. :stir:
Actually, you're at 82 now. (I have a program that calculates it for me - I just had to look up your starting date!)
I'm so not the math whiz!!! :teacher: Woo Hoo for 82 days then!!!! Thanks!
US TOO!!! But we won't actually be there until the 24th. I am SO not looking forward to driving...:scared:
I'm okay with the drive to..it's the long drive home I fear.

Here's our drive plan... (It worked last time except we hit traffic and had to stay over night in GA about a half hour outside of FL)

Hit the road by 2am so the kids will sleep a good bit on the ride.
Drive as far as possible- hopefully hit the FL border around dinner time and grab a hotel for the night.
Then when we wake on the 24th it's only a couple hours to WDW!!!
