Well as far as why I chose Janauary it came down to the fact it allowed me to have more time at Disney World while minimizing the days I had off. I first planned on visiting at Christmas time (mid-December) however I would only be able to take a couple days off from work (too close to finals time). So I looked at the January calendar and decided to go around MLK that would give me a free day and still according to TGM the crowds will be minimal (even over that weekend) so that is why I choose to go in January.
To those of you suffering issues with airlines..I'm so sorryI was considering using my airline miles in the end my fear of flying (I literally have an anxiety attack). Now I'm just going to drive down with all my supplies. My biggest worry is getting all my stuff from the car to my room at midnight YUCK!!!
Jen, I know people who have a fear of flying---I hate that for you-I enjoy it sooo much-that's part of the fun for us. My mom is like that. I think she said the last time they flew she had to go *tinkle* 14 times!!! Can you believe that-the first time I ever went to potty on a plain, I was pregnant with #3 and you know you just can't hold it!!! I would def not fly alone if I feared it. Seems like that would be worse. Thank goodness you can drive it in one day!! My parents are 3 hours away and I let the kids bring a movie-which u can't do, or a book on cd. I have really enjoyed some of those kids books. I had gotten one that was 10 hours long.The library lets you rent them for 3 weeks-maybe you should look for a really good one.(or 2) for your drive back. You could alternate that with your Disney cd-a little music---a little story--a little music--a little story!! Wouldn't that be great!! Wow, I think I should get my kids a new one checked out today!!
Hey, ya'll know what my kids really love? the Adventures in Odyssey on cd. We have up to #11--lots more to get, but they are sooooo awesome. If you haven't heard one you should go to the website & check it out. They are getting a few more for the collection from

I've got a few more days before I can party too!
No school today. Usually on my Fridays off I get a lot done while they're at school - so much easier when I don't have to solve all their disputes! Might have to bribe them with a present or a movie this afternoon! See you guys later!
