Maybe I should stop multiquoting in all my messages, then I'd make top ten...:confused3

I have some exciting news! I went to a meeting with my adviser yesterday. Usually, I resent these meetings, because it's really just a technicality where I have to go and have her lift my flag so I can enroll. I pretty much always have my schedule mapped out perfectly, and she's made some snide remarks to me about stuff in the past, (Ex. Oh you're taking the easy way) so I don't really like speaking with her, but I haven't really felt like changing my adviser, because I don't have very much time left.
Anyways... I had my whole schedule of 15 credits mapped out for her to "approve" (usually I change what classes I end up taking when I've spent more time thinking about it) and she told me that by her calculations I only have 7 credits left to take in the Spring. This news is very exciting, because I thought I would have to take a full load, and she thinks I won't. I'm going to go ahead and enroll in the 15, but I'm getting a "graduation check" done. They'll get back to me at the end of November or the beginning of December with how many credits I have left to graduation, and if their numbers match her numbers, then I can drop 8 credits. I am particularly pleased about this news, because it means I'll only have to pay for 7 credits, which will save me around $1500 of debt, plus I could potentially get a full time job, because 7 credits is cake.

:cool1: :cool1: :cool1:

Good for you!!! I'm starting to file for graduation now, it is such a wonderful feeling knowing the end is in sight!!!!!
I hope you get to take a light load, and save all that money (that's like ANOTHER DISNEY TRIP right there :woohoo: )

I lucked out in only having to do 9 credits my last semester, and it is soooo much better! Ofcourse now I don't want to do anything! Which reminds me I should be working on a paper......not Dising

Good afternoon/evening.

I'm home from work early. Not feeling any better today:sick: . I actually feel about 100 times worse. So I'm home now, just changed into my pajamas. My mommy is making me soup ( ). Then I am sleeping....forever....:rolleyes1

Hope you feel better. That sounds so cozy! I can not remember the last time I had someone take care of me... now I am the caregiver, of my kids, husband and even myself when i get sick!

YUCK! I hope you better soon! There's nothing a good pair of PJ's and Mom's soup can't cure!
Sleeping forever.....hmmm doesn't that sound nice right now!

QOTD: I am looking forward to the Wave and to the Kona Cafe, one new and one old favorite. Actually, I am excited about eating out anywhere and not cooking on vacation!

Cheers! I'll second that one!
That's why I love the DDP, even though I know I paid for it, I feel like I'm not paying anything while I'm there, so it feels wonderful eating at all of these wonderful resturants and not forking over cash for it! It's a twisted philosophy, but it makes me happy, so what are ya gonna do! :confused3
Now if only they'd offer free dinning when I can go!

Oh, and I love your username! lol

QOTD: I think I'm looking forward to Boma the most. It really sounds interesting and I think my DH will love it (he's the adventurous eater... I'm not).

My DH, while generally very VERY dear (he's been the picture of understanding during this health issue), is currently griping about the time of my MRI next week - 11:10pm. No, it's not fun, but really, it's next week. We'll take whatever time they tell us - and I was half expecting the hospital to say "how's 3am?" Also, I'm somewhat amused by the fact that he's been telling all his female coworkers about my health issues. I didn't think guys did that sort of thing.

I'm also the caretaker when we're ill. And since I've been kind of miserable and not up to leading a house cleaning brigade, he hasn't bothered to clean the house, either. What can ya do? Other than not invite company over, I guess! It's just a mess these days.

My library account says I need to renew my card on January 10th, which is 86 days a way. I fly to Disney on January 9. Hey, I now have a way to keep track of how long without having to try and add!!!

I guessing you are talking about Fantasmic. The dinner package does reserve you a seat. When I worked at Fantasmic, they gave you a reciept type thing and you show it to the person working the dinner package section of the theater. The seats are either to the left or right side, I don't think they will be in the center.

Secret to getting GREAT seats after the theater is packed.

**If you have a small party, have one adult in the party check the front-center to see if there are any open seats. I could almost always snag a few seats for people down there. The first guest too arrive usually feel entitled to spread out and make lots of extra room for themselves. Just ask if anyone is sitting there and make sure to smile very sweet. It always worked for me out of 'costume'.
Thanks for the tips!!! I'll try to smile pretty and I'll practice with my kids to make their cute faces too!
Yes, you are pretty much guaranteed a seat. You still have to go early, but not near as early as if you didn't have the package. After dinner they will give you a Fantasmic voucher. Then about 30-40 minutes prior to the show you can enter through the special entrance (don't go to the regular Fantasmic entrance) near Oscars at the front of the park. The seating will be on the right side of the arena. Not front and center seats, but still good. We like to sit near the back anyway so we can beat it out of there as soon as it's over!
Good tip to sit in the back for a quick exit!

I also got my license renewed yesterday for my birthday next month, and it only took me like 10 minutes, which amazed me, because I'm used to waiting for hours to do anything at the DMV.

Yesterday was a good day! Hopefully, the end of the month will be just as good and we'll all get discounts!:yay:
Woo Hoo! :cool1: :thumbsup2
Aw, now...come on! I can't be away from you all for a second! I might need some Disco Dan reiforcements to keep this place Disco Dan free!:rotfl2:

Alrighty...it's midnight. Friends just left after playing a rousing game of settlers of Catan. I didn't win!:lmao: But it was FUN!

Nighty night, PEEEEEEEPS!:goodvibes
Perhaps he escaped because he has an alias now! Wasn't he Disco Dale when he was put in the slammer last time? :lmao:

My baby is sick today too. She started with a fever before bed tonight. I'm cooking homemade chicken noodle soup tomorrow like a good mommy.

Gotta go now The Office is on!!!:happytv:

Catcha in the AM!

oh one more quick question...
Is Coral Reef 1 or 2 dining credits?
Still can't decide on a dining plan.:confused3 :headache:

I think it's a great idea, Shelly! :thumbsup2 And I see I'm falling...nearly out of the top 10 posters. Well, I have to remedy that! Watch out, BellaSoliel...I'm on your tail!:lmao:

I would like to mention something. I hope it's okay. I'm part of a scrapbooking board, and yesterday there was a message to pray for one of our regular members whose son woke up with a headache and was crying in pain. He was unable to walk or see well. Danny was 5. They rushed him to the hospital and they found a 4cm tumor on his brain stem. They operated immediately, but Danny slipped into a coma and he was brain dead by last night. They kept him breathing so his grandmother could come and say goodbye.:sad1:

If you are so inclined, pray for this poor family.

I know that's a sad note to end with this morning. Sorry for being a downer. But when I woke and read about this tragedy, I thought this family could use all the prayer support they could get.:sad2:

AAWWW Peach3s--God Bless those poor people!!!:sad1: I hate to hear stuff like that, it just makes me sick for them. I will be praying for Dannys family. Such a little guy, too. For mommies with little boys you can soooo put yourself in their shoes.

QOTD - All of our ressies are for restaurants I've never eaten at. I'm looking foward to our 8:05am ADR for the Crystal Palace. It should be so cool walking through an empty park. I know that my DD will love the PSB lunch at Norway...I'm a little worried about the food for me though. I'm a picky eater.

I'd have to say my fav place to eat though is Cosmic Ray's. I've always loved that place. So many different things to choose from and LOTS of seating!

That is my kids first choice every time for Counter Service meals. I do love their burger-fixins bar!!! And you never have to wait for tables!!

Good Idea! I don't know if my kiddos want to do it or not. I'll have to bring it up in a round about way and get a feel. We may even be too late to get a package--and I am not sitting there for 2 hours:sad2:

I'm having such a hard time with it now. It was fine until she fell in love with Mickey Mouse. I just know I'm going to lose it every time I see him. I really hope that my mom will want to come along for a few days. It's going to be hard on her, though. She's a teacher and will be returning from Christmas break that week.

I had thought about me and Mike going for our 15th in April--but I cannot leave my kids to go to Disney--here that would be the ultimate anarchy!!
Plus, I would probably cry!

Yesterday was a good day! Hopefully, the end of the month will be just as good and we'll all get discounts!:yay:
Yeah for you with your credits and I am with you on the discounts girl!!:cheer2: We all are sooooo waiting!

Hope you get better soon!! My kids have had it, and now my sweet hubby's got it! I made Homemade Chicken Noodle Soup on Monday and Chicken Gumbo tonight--hope they are healed---it's wearing me out!!!

Hope you feel better. That sounds so cozy! I can not remember the last time I had someone take care of me... now I am the caregiver, of my kids, husband and even myself when i get sick!

I have to be reallllly sick for hubby to take off work--he usually will just bring the boys to work with him if I am THAT sick- dd stays with me and watches cartoons or something. Then he takes them all out to eat--I never want to smell food cooking if I am really ill.

Hey, am I at 100 today? I think I may be!! I can't remember the link for countdown days and I am too tired at this point to do it. I was thinking Friday would be my double digit party!!:cheer2:
