Good afternoon Snowbirds.

Well today wasn't such a good day here. The kids had a doctor appointment. DS7 had to get 2 shots (which we knew about ahead of time) which he took very well. But then he got sent for some blood work for a minor problem he's been having. That did not go over so well. He screamed like I've never heard either of the kids scream before. It was terrible. I am drained. He is doing fine now, but what an ordeal that was.

So sorry to hear about your DS. Glad to hear that he's doing well now.

I'm glad that you like my pictures. We had such an amazing day. The weather couldn't have been nicer!

Just picture everyone in the audience in their undies! That usually works for me! DD9 said that you should picture them all as puppies. Whatever works, I guess.

It's funny because I'm not afraid of speaking in front of people I don't know. It's just the ones that I do. And even if I don't know all the grad students, they all know ME. I think it's a fear of screwing up in front of people who know me v. people who don't.

Yes. Yes I am a type A perfectionist, why do you ask?!

But I will try not to stress over it because it's not going to ruin anyone's life if I make a mistake! (Easier said than done. But I am making my boss attend, too, for back-up!)

As for the Boardwalk Villas...it was our first time staying there and we really loved it!! It is so convenient to walk to Epcot. We ate most of our meals there because it was so close. The view was neat...and yes it is very close to the swan and dolphin..a 5 minute walk. You can also walk to Hollywood Studios. It takes about 15 minutes (without a stroller ) So I guess maybe 20 if you have kiddos with you. I really had the feel of a deluxe hotel when I was there. I think the best restaurant in all of disney is there. We ate at Flying Fish and from start to finish I was amazed. OUr service was impecable and our meal fantastic.

I think the Boardwalk is now my second favorite DVC right behind Animal Kingdom Villas. I will probably love Bay Lake Towers too after it opens since its on the monorail.

Well I am off to give the girls a bath and then put them to bed at 7pm so I can get ready for the phillies game

Shelly Hope your son has a better day tomorrow and praying the test results are good. It's a shame you couldn't distract him from the stressful doctor visit by talking about Disney.

Dancegrl- I loved the wedding pics. Your daughter (as well as you and your sisters) looks so beautiful! She looks just like you!

I'm off to shower and then get the kiddos to bed. Then it's ME time! I'm going to try and figure out the digital scrapbooking software my sister gave me for my birthday! So excited!!!! (To my sister, If you're lurking... !!! I know you hate computers but be brave and get chatty!)

Bella~ That was awful!! I would have just busted out crying and looked like a nut.

Andrea~ Love, love the pictures---I really liked the shower curtain, too!! And what kind of denim jacket is that? I swear I have the twin!!!!!

Shelly~give little man a hug from all of us My older son does terribly with needles. He just gets this funny look and he gets white then blood red and the tears just start flowing-before they even get to the room with the nurse. Praying that his test results are good--keep us posted. I know Dr appt just wear me out-even good ones--what is it about going?Man, I don't like it.

Dancegrl64~ Thank you for posting your pictures-they are gorgeous!! Your dd is soooo pretty!! What a little doll. Your sister was a beautiful bride--loved her dress. And the color of your dresses was so rich!!! I have got to show your picture to my kids--there is a girl at our church (13) and you could be her twin!! It's really crazy how much y'all favor!!!! Shelly~Sorry that your guy had such an ordeal having a blood draw. Glad to hear that he is doing better now, though.

QOTD: I definitely wouldn't want to be a princess. I want to work at the Haunted Mansion and be one of the scary maids that greets you at the door. Perhaps I would like to be a greeter as you come into the park.

DH and I are planning on retired to FL, too. He's going to teach in Daytona where he went to school and I'm working at the HM. We decided this quite some time ago.

Job at Disney... seriously now... my sister and I always tell each other that when we retire we are going to move to Orlando and open up a business like Peggy Sweets... making gift baskets to deliver to resort guests... I bought one a few years ago and knew that I could easliy do something like that.... so thats our plan.... now what to do with those DH's.....

Oh.My.Goodness. I had two forkfuls of cold spaghetti out of a ziploc bag.
