Shelly, is that your son in the Wishes pic? I love his face, it's sooooo cute! It's a classic "Wow mom" expression! Of course it could be a "Mooooom stop taking pictures" face, but either way it's adorable!

Thank you! :goodvibes Yep, that's my oldest in the Wishes picture! He actually loves to have his picture taken!! Okay, maybe not after about 400 pictures or so at WDW!! :rotfl:

Ok now that I know how to post pictures I'm gonna go to town! lol

Alrighty, food shopping time. When I get home I think it's time to bust out the early 90's pictures though!

We didn't see Wishes last time so I'm so excited to make sure we see it this time! Seeing it on YouTube is as close as I've gotten to it. :sad1:

Illuminations is my fave and I'm soo excited to see it with the upgraded earth!

IllumiNations anyone???

Now This is what I'm waiting for!! I was a bit iffy about Spectro and Wishes but I knew I wanted to see IllumiNations. In my previous trips we never stayed around to watch the fireworks and other shows. This time I'm going to its part of my plan. I found this really great solo PTR and she made a list of things she was going to do that she would not normally do with her family at Disney.

One of mine is to eat a crepe will watching Illuminations!

10 pages? in just over 12 hrs? I don't think I have enough time or energy to catch up on 10npages today! So if there is anything important that I missed, please let me know!

How is everyone today? Pretty good, I assume from the amount of posting going on!

DH stayed at home today as he is recovering from a minor back injury and today was a "bad day" He actually did get up to get ready for work and forgot that he shouldn't try to bend over and wound up on the floor and almost couldn' get up! I convinced him to stay home and rest! He also has a sinus migrane! Poor guy!

I'll try to catch up with everyone later when I have a bit more time! :goodvibes

Hope it's nothing serious. We will be thinking about you and your DH. :grouphug:

WOW did I have some catching up to do!!

QOTD Donald!! I can't wait to meet him at Tusket House for breakfast.

I am at the 100 day mark today. But I am counting my travel day as my leave day since it takes us 22 hours to drive. In my world vacation begins as soon as you leave your driveway!:drive:

Will have to keep checking back it in the 50's here & sunny. Lots of tourists out gotta play barrista:coffee:

Good Afternoon! Wow, I had a lot of catching up to do!

:bday: to Monny2AE! And I'm so jealous of everyone who has 100 days or less to go! I have 116 days left. Not fun.

I have never seen Wishes and I'm so excited to see it! My DD has never seen Spectro or Wishes! 2 yrs ago, it started downpouring at about 7:30ish and they cancelled both. :sad1: I know that she will LOVE Spectromagic and she already loves fireworks. I have loved Spectro since I was a child. It's just so much fun!

I haven't seen IllumiNations in 11yrs and my DH and DD have never seen it. None of us have seen Fantasmic, so this trip is just going to be incredible. I hope that the weather will be wonderful so we can get to see all of the night time shows and stuff.

By the way, I love everyones pictures! It makes me even more excited for our trip! I should try to find some old pictures to put up. Hmmm...that will give me something to do while my DH is at grad school tonight. My mom has all of my childhood pictures. I have some in a scrapbook my mom made for me, but I'm not about to tear that apart!

I'm hoping for wonderful weather too, if only for the nighttime shows! You're going to love them! I think they are a perfect ending to a Disney day!

Poor Guy indeed! Hope his recovery is fast! :wizard:

I almost forgot- we didn't see Fantasmic last time either! The line was horrendous and with a 6 month old it just didn't happen :sad1:

Not this time! I'm seeing Wishes, Illuminations AND Fantasmic! :cool1:

You don't have to tear them apart. I just took pictures of the pictures. The clarity isn't the best but they turn out okay for posting. Please don't tear apart a scrapbook!!! It will make me cry.:sad1:

I have seen Fantasmic so I'm not quite sure I'm going to see it again..I might take that time to go ride TOT a few more times I'm terrified of the drops but the que is one of the best I have ever seen LOL!!

I can't wait to see IllumiNations and after reading about Spectro I'm getting excited about that too.

And I totally did that...I took pictures of my pictures..have to mess with the flash a bit, but all the pictures in my PTR are pics of pics except the bear on teh wall LOL!! It is a great idea!!!

But to give up my Dr. Pepper :sad1: Well what if I increase my water intake and limit myself to just one Dr. Pepper at lunch time! I promise just 1 a day...that way Kim (Northern Disney) won't have to worry about me being hyper at midnight! Would that be okay ladies???

I have my old Weight Watchers books I'm going to bust out! I have workout DVDs now to just get myself out of bed an extra 30 minutes!!

Okay quick question for some of you....I have never seen Wishes or Spectro is it worth a party of one to view..I'm debating putting it into my schedule and don't know if I should or not??

I read yesterday that to push one cup of coffee out of your system you need 3 glasses of water!!!:scared1: It sucks that much water our of you. Can you believe that. Also, I have heard----anyone chime in hear & correct if this is wrong---that u need one 8 oz of water for every 8oz of soda just to get the caffeine out. :confused3 For what it's worth!!! I haven't had a Dr. P in about 3 days and I am not nearly as tired.

I am off to take DS to preschool. While he's there, I've decided I am going to walk until it's time to pick him back up. I have a PT appointment first and then I'll walk.

I have a WW points book and points calculator that my SIL gave me. I will start that, too. As for what I have been doing for exercise, there is a great gym that I belong to that is for women only. They have classes like RPM (aka spinning), BodyPump, Body Attack, as well as a ton of other things. I can't always get there because my son really dislikes their child care.

I am determined.

I'll check in later with you all!

We only have Curves. I really didn't see too much improvement when I went there. I quit and started walking 3 miles a day and dropped 10 pounds in about 2 1/2 months.
I'm so grateful for people like you and DH! I just would not do well in foreign countries. :sad2:

That Santa...he usually comes through for everyone, doesn't he? :santa:

What a guy!!:santa:

What does he take for his migraines?

I really love Wishes the best I think. Then Spectro and then Illum. Jiminy Cricket is THE MAN!!!

We are going to see Wishes and Fantasmic this time. We try to see 2 out of 3 of them on each trip. In May we saw Wishes and IllumiNations. Us making all 3 of them just does not happen.

Hey Guys I need your advice! I have signed up to have a fridge placed in my room at the POP. However as I keep thinking (especially on ways to save money) about it, I wonder do I really need one. The only reason I was contemplating taking it was to keep my bottles of water cold. I plan on bringing breakfast items, but that is going to be cereal bars, muffins, nothing that would require frigeration and I'm definitely not a milk drinker. So I was thinking that I could just bring a cooler with me (I'm driving down) and keep in filled with ice (I'll be taking a break each day so I could dump out the water and refill) to keep my drinks cold and my ice packs. This would save me about 60 dollars. Do you think a refridgerator is a must??

What do you do if you are in a value and don't have a refridgerator?? Any tips would be appreciated!

Have you looked into a refrigerator swap on the Budget Boards? You can usually get one for about $10 or less for the whole week.

We definitely like having a refrigerator in the room. If we ever stay at a value we will have to have one.

You could probably get away with just using the cooler since it's just you and you're driving.

I thought about the swap, but that kind of makes me nervous, and I'm not sure I want to deal with all of that.

I'm starting to lean more and more towards getting away with a cooler. It is just me afterall, if I was traveling with others this wouldn't be an issue I would just stick with the fridge.

Thanks for the link Shelly I'll have to go read through it and see!!!
