I've never done one yet, so I'm not sure how much trouble they are. I think Disney holds it for you in storage and then will deliver it to your room.

Poor Guy indeed! Hope his recovery is fast! :wizard:

I almost forgot- we didn't see Fantasmic last time either! The line was horrendous and with a 6 month old it just didn't happen :sad1:

Not this time! I'm seeing Wishes, Illuminations AND Fantasmic! :cool1:

You don't have to tear them apart. I just took pictures of the pictures. The clarity isn't the best but they turn out okay for posting. Please don't tear apart a scrapbook!!! It will make me cry.:sad1:

I promise, I will NEVER tear apart my scrapbook! It was a graduation gift from my mom. She made one for each of my sisters too. It's pretty much my whole life (well, birth to age 18) packed into one book! I never thought about taking pictures of my pictures. I will definately do that tonight while my DH is at school.

I think the only reason we're seeing Fantasmic is becaue I booked the dinner package. I would not want to stand in line forever, even though I heard it's great. I'm still a little worried about my DD's reaction to it though. I saw a video of it on youtube, and it might scare her. She's extremely sensitive, so I will have to start thinking of things to distract her during the villain part!

Try to sit towards the back. It won't be as loud and you can make a quick escape if you need to!

My kids were 8 & 5 1/2 when we saw it in 2007. They loved every minute of it! :goodvibes

Thanks for the advice! I'm still looking foward to it since I've never seen it before. It looks so cool when watching it online, so I'm sure it's incredible in person!

Jenjolt~ If it's just you, I would do a cooler. Just get Ice from the machine and change it out as you need to. It wouldn't take up as much room as a fridge either.

I read a good tip somewhere to store the cooler in the tub so that it doesn't "sweat" all over the carpet. Smart. :thumbsup2

Jen-
I would go for the cooler. We did the fridge once, and thought it was a waste. We too only wanted it for water, but we only took a bottle when we left in the am, and never took a break so that case in the fridge got wasted. If you put one on ice at night, and then another on ice before you leave, you'll have a cold bottle when you leave in the am & pm!

First... I think I finally got this multi quote thing down... thanks to all you Snowbirds!!!

Disco Dale just can not be held back! We are just too cute. He can't resist us!:lmao:

Good morning, Snowbirds! Maggie's clothes get packed away for Georgia. Thankfully I have all her 4 and 5T. Thomas grew a bit, but is still wearing some 8s and mostly 10s. Good news! He lost a few pair of pants to Scoty, but mostly, his clothes still fit!
Peaches... I have a Maggie also... her real name is Mary Margaret but we call her Maggie....

And it's my 30th Birthday today!!! :yay: :yay: :yay: .

  :dance3: Happy Birthday to you... Happy Birthday to you...

Mornin' Y'all!

Where is this spreadsheet everyone is talking about:confused3 I need to go check it out. .

:confused3 I am wondering that also...... did I miss it on the 15 pages I needed to read when I got home today...:lmao:

We have a treadmill too, but I'd have to go downstairs to use it! :rotfl: Who needs to be climbing up and down stairs anyway??? :lmao:

:rotfl:

Do you have a Mickey head cookie cutter? I've been wanting one! I wonder where I could find one? :confused3

I bought one in the kitchen store in DTD and one at the Disney store here in the mall.... you might try online at Disney shopping...

DH stayed at home today as he is recovering from a minor back injury and today was a "bad day"

 I hope he is feeling better soon....

Hey Guys I need your advice! I have signed up to have a fridge placed in my room at the POP.
What do you do if you are in a value and don't have a refridgerator?? Any tips would be appreciated!

My sister did the fridge swap thing and said it was very easy.....

Usually Sinutab! His migraines are not regular or chronic - he usually only gets them when we get a slow moving weather front passing through our region. Today was such a day - cool, cloudy and drizzly!

Glad he's not a chronic sufferer!! I get them occasionally. I am sensitive to smells--so cheap perfume really gets me:headache:

Certain foods-I pretty much have them pegged and avoid them at all costs,

and allergies. Certain times of the year(like now) I can take Zyrtec or something and that usually heads them off. But, after this hurricane it seems like everyone is burning tons of trees. And of course the smoke reaaaaalllly gets me--I just hate it. But, what can you do?

So, I hope he's better and it's gone by now!!!

Thanks for the great advice guys! I think I'm going to go the cooler route!!
And YAY to Maggied for getting multiquoting down:cheer2: :cheer2:

;) Our church, The Christian and Missionary Alliance, has workers all over the world.

How cool Peaches! :cool1: We also attend a church that is a part of the CMA! We have sent many people from our congregation on short term missions to Papua, Indonesia! :) I think you and your family are so amazing to do what you do! :thumbsup2 blessingss! :)

Everyone has to see Wishes! :goodvibes It is so magical. It's not so much the fireworks (you can see good fireworks just about anywhere) as it is the narration and music that goes along with them!

Shelly, I read somewhere that it is possible to see and HEAR Wishes from the beach at the POLY - do you - or anybody else know anything about this?

Thanks everyone for your Best Wishes for DH! :thumbsup2 He is feeling better! :yay: I showed him all the posts and he says "thank you very much" :) I will check back later - time to go make supper! :goodvibes

Ok everyone, I must follow her to the kitchen. It's that time of day!!! And DD has ballet @ 5, so I need to have everything going or we'll be starved by the time I get her back home!!!

I'll try to check in tonight.

Hey---some of you will be down to 3 months tomorrow!!!:yay: :yay:
