QOTD: My favorite Disney movie is an OLD Haley Mills film called Summer Magic. My favorite cartoon is Alladin, with The Lion King being a VERY close second.

What's everybody up to today?

I just cleaned out my refrigerator. I am embarrassed to say it was pretty gross! I know, such an exciting life here!! :rotfl:

My favorite Disney movie??? That's a tough one. I like them all! Oh except for that Wall E movie this summer. I am sorry to say I thought that was the dumbest movie ever. The kids were even disappointed.

Then don't come to my house and look in my refridgerator. I'm actually looking forward to tonight, I'm going over to my best friend's house and we are going to scrapbook together! YAY!! Well, we'll say we scrapbook we might end up watching a Jane Austen movie or Little Women LOL

I saw that movie being advertised in the Disney Movie Club brochure! I'm a huge Haley Mills fan, I simply adore the Original Parent Trap and was wondering if that movie was any good. I guess I'll have to watch it now!!

Good Morning Snowbirds! :cool1:
Happy Friday!
And to all of you in public schools or jobs..... HAPPY LONG WEEKEND :yay:

Those are awesome. I aspire to be just like you one day...

How much is it to get little books made? That just sounds like so much fun.

They were lots of fun! And saved a lot of hassel since I had all of my ADR's, confirmation #'s, flight info and contact info in there in case we got lost! I printed them out at home (came out to be like 200 full sheets, 2 pages per sheet printed on two sides) and then staples cut the pages, put them in order and binded them for about $6 each!
I thought it was better than carrying around pages of touring plans, a hidden mickey book, a triva book, and a million other things that are fun to have in the parks!

Ok so favorite Disney movie.....Swiss Family Robinson :goodvibes
or Mary Poppins, oh and Peter Pan, Little Mermaid, Beauty & the Beast, um Lilo & Stitch, Pirates, oh darn it I just can't pick one! I love them all! :happytv: (Well, almost all!)

Favorite movies:

Animated - Finding Nemo

Live-action - all 3 Pirates...can't wait for the 4th movie

Thank you for the info. I think if we decide to go there it will be more for the atmosphere of the place.

I was looking into it awhile back too. I don't think it is going to be on the DDP because it is owned by Landry's who also own Rainforest and they are not on the DDP. Although I did have a CM on the phone tell me it was going to be on the DDP. :confused3 I didn't want to wait (very impatient!) to make ADR's and with the confusion about it and the DDP I just decided to wait until the next trip. This trip is probably the last time we are going to do the DDP because DS9 will be 10 next year and charged as an adult, so the DDP will no longer be a good deal for us. So anyway, we will probably try to go to T-Rex on the next trip! I think it looks like it will be a really cool atmosphere and the kids would love it!

Mulan, how could I forget Mulan!!!! I love the song..I'll Make a Man Out of You!!! and then she climbs the wooden pole...OH...now I want to go home and watch it!!

LUNCH TIME!! WOOT!!!:dance3:

It's sad, but I must admit, I've NEVER seen Mulan:confused3 Don't know why. It just never looked like one that I would be interested in. How horrible is that.

And...I have to add a few more to my list. How could I forget Pooh's Heffalump Movie and Dumbo. I just love elephants! My son just loved the Heffalump (poor kid got a love of elephants from me:rotfl: ).

I hope you feel better soon................

Thanks, MAGGIED! :thumbsup2 I do feel better all ready! The antibiotics have kicked in and things are starting to improve! Alas I am very tired today because the sleepover went a WEE BIT LATE last night! The girls did not go to sleep until nearly midnight! :scared1: So today I have 2 very tired and cranky 7 yr olds!

My goodness 21 pages in less than 48 hrs? I think we will be needing a PART III before we all leave on our trips! ;) I haven't caught up yet since last night so I am going to do that now! Hope everyone is having a great day! :)

I was going to rant and rave over the fact you guys haven't seen Mulan (great movie) LOL, then I realized I have to admit I have never seen Cars...I know let the ranting and raving begin!!!:scared1:

Ooohhh...am I allowed to add to the QOTW...is that allowed?? Besides telling us your favorite Disney movie...mention the one Disney movie you haven't seen yet!!

I'm a huge Haley Mills fan, I simply adore the Original Parent Trap .......

OH OH! ME TOO! It is my al time favourite mivie! I have watched at least 100 times and can quote most of it by memory! My most favorite part is the "whistle march" At least once a week when my girls are grouchy about having to walk to school - I will start to whistle this tune and it always perks them up!

"ALL RIGHT GIRLS, THAT"S ENOUGH OF THIS NONSENSE, GO BACK TO YOUR ACTIVITIES!"

There are a bunch of Jewish Holidays next week (sorry I don't know which ones, don't mean to be offensive to anyone!) so my school & office are closed since we are city run. :dance3:
That means I'm off Mon, Tues & Wed!!!!!! :jumping1:

Sorry to everyone who's not......:guilty:
If it makes you feel better I will be cleaning out the basement, which is never a fun thought! :scared1:

The song is stuck in my head now LOL!! I can just see them marching up the hill, I have to say that the part I enjoy the most is when they walk down the stairs in matching outfits...I could have so much fun being an identical twin!!

Feel better sweetie..and sure I won't drink any more Dr. Pepper tonight LOL!!!:rolleyes1 I'll just finish the one I have open I promise LOL

Thanks Jenn, I am feeling better already! Just have to deal with these cranky and miserable kids for the next 4 hrs! I wish it was possible to put 7 yr olds down for naps! For now this will have to do....:happytv: :)

Oooohhh..... I love Parent Trap, too!!!!

When I worked at MGM, Haley Mills came to do the handprint thing. My manager wouldn't let me leave to go see her. I cried. She and Julie Andrews are the two people I would love to meet the most!

Oooh..bad manager:mad:

I Heart Julie Andrews!!! Between Mary Poppins and my all time favorite non-Disney movie Sound of Music...oh she is so wonderful! I would love to meet her too. Sound of Music is the one movie I'll watch on TV even though I own the collectors version of the DVD without commerical. My favorite scene is when they do the Ländler during the ballroom scene, the emotion that was expressed in that one dance still gives me goosebumps!!

OMG I swear you are all my Disney mental soulmates!!
