How many of you have been to see Mary Poppins on broadway? I would lllooooovvvee to go to that!!! My ds (who turns 13 in early Dec) wants to go to NYC. So, maybe we can swing a short trip and go see it. All my kids want to see the show.....Wonder how much a short 3 day trip would set us back???? Any New Yorkers want to help me out?

Hello! Mary Poppins on Broadway was wonderful! So full of magic and the songs are so classic and fun! I have lived about 15 minutes outside of NYC my whole life and I love it! You would have a blast!!!

QOTD - My favorite Disney movie as a child was Dumbo. I used to cry every time I watched it, but I would watch it daily. Right now, I can not narrow down a favortie movie. I love all of the Pixar movies though. As for movies I haven't seen...I've never seen Mulan or A Bug's Life.

Speaking of musicals...I LOVE musicals! I was in my high school's musical every year. We did The Music Man (I was a featured dancer), West Side Story (Shark Girl), 42nd Street (Lorraine Fleming), and Grease (Cha Cha DiGregorio).

Ok so we found out we have a room at SSR!!!!!! I'm so freakin excited...103 days!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

*Now, we've never stayed anywhere other than All Star Music(which we are still at for our first 2 nights). But anyone stayed here that can give me some insight...or little tricks or secrets? The person who got our room said they requested the Grand Stand area.

Oh and musicals...umm. Honestly I've only seen Wicked. And that was amazing! I really want to see more..however that means I have to find people that would enjoy seeing those!

I too LOVE musicals, I'm an actress finishing up my degree in Musical Theatre.
My first off Broadway role was in a cabaret the featured entirely Disney Music! (if you've heard of On the Record, think like that one!)

Little Mermaid was soooooo beautiful, I liked it even better than Mary. I think the new songs in Mary are good but don't fit with the originals as well as the new LM songs do!
But the effects in Mary are AMAZING!

Speaking of Broadway, saw Lion King in 1998. I was in tears a couple of times, it was SO beautiful. The additional music was beautiful. Mufasa was played by the guy who did Sebastian's voice in Little Mermaid. I'd love to see Mary Poppins.

If you click on the ballon on the main page it will bring you to the "Celebration Page". I saw the US Celebration Tour on the side by "New Entertainment" You might have to scroll though the ad for Miley's Sweet 16. That link will bring you to the tour homepage! I think I saw them going to Philly???? I know there was a PA stop!

I have seen Beauty and the Beast and the Lion King in Toronto. I loved them both! When I was in HS, my parents used to take my sister and I up to Toronto every spring to see a musical. We also saw Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat with Donny Osmond. I saw Phantom of the Opera in Toronto three times.
