What would ever make you think that? :lmao: :rotfl: :lmao:

I think Toy Story would have to be a close second! I laugh through that movie EVERY time we watch it.:happytv:

Okay, I am out of control now....and I can't even blame caffeine.

Oh -- what's up with all the Kansas fans? Where's Distherapy? Us Memphis types need to stick together!

For background, Kansas beat Memphis in a heartbreaking NCAA basketball championship last year - it went into overtime and everything.

Now I've gotten that out of my system....

Oh I've got your back!!!

Talk about a heartbreaker...

Just before the game, our power went out. I went running into the street and someone said they heard a transformer blow. We packed up the kids in their pajamas and headed down the street to a neighbor's house. 30 seconds before tip off, their power went out. I didn't breathe for a full minute and it came back on. Talk about nerves on edge!

Although the end of the game was nearly unbearable:sad2: , it was fairly amusing to watch our neighborhood - everyone was pouring out of the few houses that had power during the whole game and hurrying back to their own homes.

Debbie, love that little picture of you!! What a cutie!!!! 1974..... I was born that summer....what a good year!:lmao: Your mom was def. stylin' with that hair!! Did it stay 'through a hurricane force wind' on all the rides? Man, I love that flat is now in!!!! It would take me a week to get mine to stand like that..and 2 cans of hair spray!!!

Sharadoc-I really appreciate your organization!! I thought I was very organized, now I'm not so sure!!! Very cool---I love it!!!! You know people would pay you a hefty fee to do that for them!! OT--my Dsil once paid me to organize 2 HUGE rubbermaids of all their family's photos for her. Their were 100s of pictures in there. Everybody else in the family thought I was nuts, but I really enjoyed it!! Now she's neat and organized! Up til that point anyway.....how many pics she's taken and stashed in another container I can only imagine!!! And.... I took that little prize money and bought me:Vera Bradley goodies!!! Needless to say Dh was happy about that!!!

Oh, I gotta get my kids up and ready for school. I have to take the sub in this morning for a check-up since I am almost to the end of my warranty. I loooove my sub!! But don't ya'll just hate having to go to the dealership? Especially with 3 kids who will be bored and begging for all thejunk in the candy dispensers? Hopefully a friend of ours will give us a loaner for the day!!!!

QOTW: I am really gonna have to think about this. Can we have more than one. I mean, can you really narrow all that creativity & wonder down to ONE movie?? I will give it some thought....I do have all weekend!!!

Had to add something else---Mindy, I wouldn't say he was pasty:sad2: My nephew IS pasty!!!! Bless his heart, he is sooooo pale!! Really, he almost looks ill all the time he's so white. My mom can't stand it. She told my husband last week when we were there:" my kids were NEVER that pale,EVER!". Geez nana, a little testy, eh?:rotfl: Well, we really had lots of allergies and all that, but we still played outside--whether we wanted to or not!!Anyway Mindy--he's just too cute! Little heart-breaker!! Hey wouldn't he be cute with Belle? Bella's daughter!! Ha!!!! A Disney match!!!

Also, just wanted to say I saw my ticker this morning and was thrilled!!!! Some days it makes me happier than others:wizard:

All of you Dr Pepper types remind me of a birthday party a bunch of us girlfriends gave for two other girlfriends who are big fans of the DP. Hmmmm....what did we do -- all of our food was made with DP - for instance, I baked a ham with a DP glaze, someone else baked a cake with DP in it...all sorts of great things.

We decorated with DP posters, played DP trivia and gave each of the b-day girlies a DP can mounted in a shadow box! I can't remember all we did but it was pretty fun. Didn't even know about DP chapstick..something to think about for another party!

I'm not a DP fan myself [I go for the diet DP] but as one snowbird to many others, I offer up a toast:

Good morning!

FOR THE LOVE OF THE DR. PEPPER!!! YAY!! Cheers!!

Okay so the Office Depot Card that shall never be mentioned again has been used and I have purchased 2- 2"binders, some pretty colored number tabs with a table of contents, and page protectors! I have gone through 2 ink cartridges and I'm working on my third not to mention half a color one (I'm going to Wal Mart to buy more soon )! This is going to be the ultimate Disney Vacation Binder!! So consider me a binder goddess in training and I will follow in the wonderful steps of our mentors!!

okay, here's the deal -- I am trying really hard not to post during the day when I'm at work except for snippets here and there. I get so carried away by my snowbird pals that I forget that I'm at work! And I really like that whole eating thing, along with the whole sleeping-somewhere-besides-a-cardboard-box thing. Not to mention liking the paying-for-this-trip-before-planning-another thing.

Hence the major multi-posting right now. And, that jenjolt is totally trying to edge me out of the top 10 :scared1:

Now I can't remember why I posted!

I only post at work in the morning before students and then during lunch and passing periods!! Never while students are in the room they are crazy enough without me sitting there typing..nope I'm walking my way Disney one aisle of tables at a time LOL

And I'm just talkative I'm not trying to edge anyone out of the top 10 LOL!!:rolleyes1

In all seriousness I just love chatting with you ladies!! BTW working on my scrapbook tonight I might post some pics of that because...GUESS WHAT...I have a photobucket account YAY!! Now to figure out how my scanners works....Soleil oh where is our beautiful Soleil this morning!!

Have a great day guys!! AND ITS FRIDAY!!

Hmmmm pick ONE favorite Disney Movie...popcorn:: Need some time to think on that and try to narrow it down.

I like some of the classics: Mary Poppins, Lady and the Tramp, Snow White, CHitty Chitty Bang Bang, Robin Hood, Snow White, Peter Pan...

Some newer ones: Cars, Monsters Inc., Toy Story, Nemo, Beauty and the Beast, Lilo and Stitch, Pooh's Heffalump Movie, Lion King...

To pick just one! I don't know if I can do it! :confused3
It's raining here today- perhaps a Disney movie marathon is in order!

Wow, I go to work yesterday, wake up today and there is no way I could EVER catch up with you chatty bunch! :rotfl2:

Alright, QOTW: This is an easy one for me. Ever since I was a teeny, tiny toddler it has been Dumbo. There is just something about that adorable elephant that makes me melt! I  Dumbo!

My favourite Disney movie is Finding Nemo.

It's just so cute, and funny, and blue!

Just keep swimming, just keep swimming...

(Which reminds me, I made a top for myself on Zazzle with Dory on it! It says, "Just keep swimming..." down the bottom and I can't wait to wear it at Disney!!)

What is our QOTW? [I figure we should do a weekend question rather than a day question since the thread seems to quiet down a little then.]

Oh, I know - I think we've asked what our favorite Disney character was - have we asked what our favorite Disney movie was?

Mine? Depends on the day - but I've always had a special fondness for "Lady and the Tramp."

(Is going to try to be a sympathetic to the Memphis fans as she can be)

Wasn't that late buzzer 3-point shot amazing!!! LOL!! Okay I jest, GO JAYHAWKS!! In all fairness my first stuffed animal was a Jayhawk and I was born in Lawrence, the Red and Blue runs through my veins!! I can't help it. However it was a great game and I enjoyed every minute of it!!!!

While we can't agree on NCAA Basketball teams we can agree on Disney Movies. I have three favorites that I love, love, love so more! Lady and Tramp, Sleeping Beauty, and Beauty and the Beast!! Those movies can take me away from any troubles or stress of real life!!

I have a reason for my excessive talking and multiposts...I'm a big mouth LOL

Happy Friday Everyone...

Debbiandroo: that picture is so cute. Umm but I have to say, I wasn't even born until a full 10 years after that picture was taken!:rotfl: :flower3:

Now for favorite movie...um can we make that plural...movieS?
Finding Nemo, Pirates of the Caribbean, Little Mermaid, Lilo and Stitch, Cars.
And also, for a girl who basically hates all things girlie...I'm a sucker for Cinderella and Pocohantas. :confused3 :rotfl:

QOTD:

The Lion King and anything Pixar (Star Wars fans are loyal, after all Pixar was part of Lucasfilms originally;))

And I'm just talkative I'm not trying to edge anyone out of the top 10 LOL!!:rolleyes1

You're kicking everyone's behinds in the top ten! It isn't even close! :worship:

I thought you were going to start a PTR? (Then you could be chatty over there and let me get back into a top spot.) :rolleyes1

Good morning Snowbirds! :goodvibes

Happy Friday!! :cool1:

Just been cleaning and doing laundry here this morning.

Northerndisneygirl and Maggied - Sure hope you are both doing better soon. :flower3:

WELCOME to the newest Snowbirds!

Crzyred - Hi Shelly!! That seems weird! :rotfl: Yes, it is rare to find another Shelly that spells their name correctly!

Well I think I have the lists updated once again! But, I can't seem to find dates and/or resorts for Agprincess and Lil'mermaid75. Maybe I missed them. :confused3 Please post them again for me and I will get you added!

What a story! I think I would have had some sort of coronary something or other before the night was finished!

Wasn't it weird that the whole city completely stopped that night? Actually that whole weekend - the one thing we all agree on is Tiger basketball.

And, for you Jaybirds fans -- it's the Tigers all the way this year!!! [probably not, but we can dream can't we?]

Yikes, I'm going to be afraid to go to sleep at night, 'cause it will take me all morning to get caught up with this thread!

Great binder pictures! I love the different colored dividers. I do have color-coded schedules in my spreadsheet, but I haven't printed much yet because I know it's all going to change a few more times (at least!). I hate buying ink.

To anyone who goes to a Celebration tour stop near you...please let us know about it! It's coming to DC on October 10, so I'm wondering if I should check it out.

QOTW...wow, I have to think about that!
We do a "Family Movie Night" every weekend (usually on Friday, unless we have something else going on), and take turns choosing a movie for us all to watch. Tonight it's my turn! :woohoo: It can be difficult finding movies that mom and dad and 10- and 8-year old boys all enjoy...and I'm sure it will become even harder as baby girl gets old enough to watch too. We enjoy the sports-themed ones--Disney's "Miracle" (about the 1980 Olympic hockey team) and "The Rookie" (about the baseball pitcher) are both family favorites. Anyone have more suggestions for me?

:welcome: to the new Snowbirds!

I thought you were going to start a PTR? (Then you could be chatty over there and let me get back into a top spot.) :rolleyes1

For your information I have started my PTR I'm just already experiencing writer's block LOL:rotfl: I'm on it I'm on it!!!

QOTD---- hmm as a kid it was Robin Hood Lady & the Tramp is DH & myself's togther movie. Long story but let's just say he likes to re-inact the meatball scene:lovestruc & probably favorite movie right now would have to be the Toy Stories. Watched them over & over with both babies daily when they were little.

Count me in on the Dr. Pepper groupie list. Absolute favorite soda drink. Love the cherry vanilla DP!

Dundeehunter is the Disney meet on a wed or a thu? If its Thu I would love to go. PM if you want.

You're the cute one! My mom and I have basically the same type of hair -- really thick and coarse, almost curly but not quite. So, I am sure on that day, she probably used a couple of cans of hair spray for her hair to go flat but after a couple of spins in the teacups, :scared1:

Suffice it to say, the big-hair of the eighties was great time for me - now, not so much.
