Am I looking in the right spot? where it says retrieve you reservation and then it gives the names of everyone in the cabin and the sailing dates then it says cabin #: guarantee. Is this where it will eventually change and have an actual room #? I can't take all this waiting I'm such the planner and I like to know all of it before we get there. Thanks and have a great day????

For anyone else who may be interested, the current scheduled launch date for the Shuttle Altantis is Jan 24th. If it delays a couple more days, we may all be back in port to see it. That would be sooooo cool!

Bethipooh4: I don't think I'll have time to get the gift bag done, so I need to come off the list. (Since we didn't tell the girls about the cruise until Christmas, I got a late start on the planning and then DH tells me we need Pirate Costumes! ) We still want to meet everyone though, so can we still come to the meet at 9am on Sunday even if we don't have a bag to swap?

We still want to do the tag and the extenders. I'm letting each person make their own little pocket and will connect them with ribbon to each other. Should make quite a hodge-podge and not at all professional looking, but the girls are having fun with it, and that's what counts.

My clothes are packed, my daughter's clothes are packed, my wife's clothes are partially packed (I guess I better pack the rest)....we're just about ready to go!

Drinking shoes must be a New England statement....you need to wear shoes that when you are drinking, with the possibility of imbing too much, you don't fall down and kill yourself and anyone in your path!!! Good rubber soled, flat shoes will do!!!! Silly us!!

Max stated at dinner yesterday that we should expect to see him only at Breakfast and the rest of the day will be spent with his buddies at the kid's club!!! I had to laugh, he is 6 after all, and he looked a little like Jackie Gleason as he enacted leaving the room and waving goodbye to us yelling "see ya later." So you see, Dave and I will have some free time on our hands, something of a premium, so we really do need our drinking shoes!!!

Got our Disney Magical Express stuff in yesterday!!!! Yeah for us. All that's left is to pack the man and the wedding dress and we are gone!!!

Sorry, the dis search engine is down but I thought some of you repeat cruisers could give me an idea. I have seen some photos of decorated doors where people cut out black "mouse ears" and put them on top of their room # circle so it looks like a mouse head. Totally cute, and we want to do this for all our rooms, but I have no idea what the dimensions of the room number are. Any repeat cruisers know, or could give me a ballpark?

By the way, Cheryl, you are so on top of things, I have a million left to get done this weekend!! I did love your "drinking shoes" comment-- I bought some cute open toed flats to bring on this trip (since I'm with family, not DBF, I'm not too concerned about looking sexy in heels!), they might be my "drinking shoes"!!!

Looks like we have a low sitting off our coast, and they are saying it will be heading up north this weekend along the coast..hope you don't get any snow out of it...our temps should be in the 50's all next week...

got the packing started, and picked up the dry cleaning yesterday(ok, i confess, its all the guys dress shirts, i hate to iron...) Tonight we go through everything and tomorrow is one last shopping trip. I think I need to get myself some drinking shoes too...i have a habit, when I drink, my shoes come off...and if its tequila, well, we won't go there as to what else comes off...

Hard to believe in a week I will be sitting in Florida, drink in hand...

To quote the great Toby Keith....one more tequila is never enough!!! Who sings that song about the clothes coming off when she is out drinking with her friends??? We will have to play it during our Dis-meet. It is thundering here right now, must be the stuff that Brett had....I secretly hope that it is cold and snowing when we take off on Friday at 6:00 am....I would hate to think that New England is basking in sun when we had to travel miles away to get some!!!

I am OC !!!! I have some serious issues with organizing and planning trips...I am beginning to think that it may be a genetic disorder.. I love to travel, and I love to plan things to the smallest detail, and I love to have fun....so my loving husband of 20 years has just learned to live with my disorder and roll with what I tell him to do, wear, and eat!!
