Happy New Year Everyone!!!!!

Well, I am finally off my lazy rear and just read through the last 4 pages, and working on updating on everyone for the list. It was a little crazy here, DS came in from college, DD had the inlaws here from Oklahoma, and we had 13 for Christmas eve, and the DD cooked her first big family meal.

So, time to get to the business of Disney...can you believe the countdown is in the teens now...wow...

I like the idea of the meet at 9am on Sunday..do we have a place we are meeting at?

We got our Magical Express packet for our trip home...don't even want to think about that yet. Hopefully we will get our cruise packet this week. I am so excited.

For those that were looking for magnet ideas, you can go to the main page and there is a magnet link, or go to the creative DIS forum and there are some very talented people over there who will help you create your own. I just use magnet paper I got at Michaels and my own printer..those 40% off coupons come in handy.

Roodoll flys in Saturday from Guam, its been a year since I have seen her, I am looking forward to having her and her Dh here for a few weeks. I started shopping for my DIS exchange bag, still need to get a few more items, but I found some neat stuff.

Does anyone know offhand on Southwest's fare policy..the fare we booked 2 weeks ago is now 40 a person cheaper for the same flight..will the give me a credit or will they just laugh at me if I request a refund?

Bethipoo - no cruise docs in Cary, either - Jim was starting to worry, but I feel a little better knowing we're not the only ones in NC in the same boat! (or is that on the same boat... )

As for Southwest, I think if you call or go online, you can rebook at the lower rate. You'll get a credit that's good for 12 months for the difference, unless it's a fully refundable ticket - then you'll actually get the difference in cash.

I called Southwest, and they told me how to get the better price online..only problem is, right now they show us coming home Jan 2009....thats one heck of a vacation...LOL

So I called back and they told me its a system wide glitch and to try later...

Did you have any luck getting reservations at Liberty Tree? I think we are going to grab a hot dog at Caseys...I don't want to lose what little time we have at the MK, since we will be going to a different park during the day.

Did you have any luck getting reservations at Liberty Tree? I think we are going to grab a hot dog at Caseys...I don't want to lose what little time we have at the MK, since we will be going to a different park during the day.

I made Jim called. They said we could get reservations for 3 at LTT, but that we wouldn't be able to sit together (??!!) so we've got a 5:05 reservations at 'Ohana at the Poly. We'll probably hit Epcot in the morning/day and change before dinner. We were at WDW at Thanksgiving and spent a fair amount of time at the MK, so the PPP is just a bonus for us (2 parties in 2 months!)

We've promised Hannah (who's 5) that we'd focus on pictures/autographs this trip, so it's less about the rides and more about the experiences this time. Hopefully that won't mean spending all day in lines for 30 second meet-n-greets and autographs, but hey. They're only little once, and we'll be back again!

CAN YOU BELIEVE IT IS 2 WEEKS AWAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I booked this trip in November last year, and have had it on the calender so long, I thought my husband would just kill me. I have been wearing my Mickey pins for the past 2 months, and tell just about anyone who will listen. Last night before bed, my son said, "You know what I am going to do the first thing when we get on that boat? I am jumping right into that Mickey pool." I said....Go for it!!!!!

2 weeks from today we will be on our plane from Cleveland to Orlando!!!! We can't believe the time is coming so fast and yet so slow. Finished off our Dis bag yesterday. Today the kids are trying on all their cruise outfits to make sure they fit and what we still need We are so excited to put faces to everyone we've been talking to here on the board!!!!!!!!

Chepic, we are with DU as well. Ours arrived yesterday. Give it a couple of days and check with DU/DCL

Most of the information in there we dealt with online. The only things different were the luggage tags and the bahamas immigration forms. I am sure those items will be available in the terminal.

OMG - I am getting soooo excited. 13 days and we are traveling... (excited and scared). So much to do, so little time...

We went with DU too...on the envelope it said it came from Celebration Florida, which I think is DCL. While my Magical Express stuff came from NJ. We still haven't gotten our tags for down to Florida yet, that is coming through DVC...lol I am so confused...

Brett its cold here too...not quite as cold as you, got down into the teens last night, and it felt like it was 6 degrees this morning..cold for us here in NC.

9 degrees this am.....spoke with DVC person today and she said that it was 40 degrees there this am!!!!!!!!!!!! I said WHAT!!!!

I called to check on the magical express tickets, and I am so glad that I did, they didn't have us down.... can you imagine the 15 of us waiting at Orlando International Airport and being told we can't get to OKW!!! WHEW!!!

Thanks for the info everyone, I also checked with DU and they said that it all comes out of Disney direct through UPS, so I imagine that I will get it soon.

O.K. All the dresses are bought and fit... New suits are bought, now I am just waiting to hear from Cathy to change the Palo mess-up and we will be all set.

No cruise docs here yet.

I started to panic this past week and have begun getting all of our clothes together and ready to go. I figured it wouldn't be warm enough again to wear shorts given that we have dropped so far down. Now I see we're supposed to be back in the 70's soon! Silly weather.

It's a good thing I started to go through clothes, though. I discovered my daughter only has 3 pairs of shorts after the fall cleanup of too small clothes. Now where to find shorts in the middle of winter. Hmmmm.

I had a similar experience with bathing suits last week-- went down to St. Augustine, FL for a wedding and tried on a suit to take to the beach. My pre-cruise diet has gone a little too well, I only have a few suits that fit!! Talk about freaking out a little, where to find a cute bathing suit in January!!?!?

Apparently they're already out at Target so I'll be checking that out ASAP

DW is getting our fish extender together. Is anyone else taking one? If so, let me know so that we can plan an ample number of surprises (Disney stuff is $1 at Target). Looking forward to meeting everyone. We are meeting at 9am on Sunday, correct? Where are we meeting?
