January 1, 2010 discounts?

Does anyone remember what discounts were offered (A/P included) last year starting on January 1st? We're thinking of going Jan 1 - 6th of next year and are trying to get an idea of pricing. When do you think discounts will be released for Jan 1st of 2010? Also, when do the 2010 regular rates get released? Thanks.

the 2010 rack rates don't come out till the first week in August.

last year I think the prices were released around the end of Sept - beginning of Oct. I wouldn't expect them before Sept.

The Package rates for 2010 will be released about the first week of August! For discounts, you will have to wait until at least the first week of November! November 6th, 2008 is when the "But 4, Get 3 free" came out! Good luck and happy planning!

I'm hoping to go the second week in Jan, and I'm really hoping for something similar to the 4/3 deal we took advantage of this past Jan. That was awesome - especially with the $200 gift card!

I am waiting... waiting... WAITING for the Jan 2010 info/rates to be released! For the past 13 years we have always gone the week before Christmas. This year my son is starting college, so we can now go in January. We are planning Disney from Jan 8-15 (this covers his birthday on the 10th and mine on the 15th!) and then a second week in either Sarasota or Daytona Beach.

In our family we take turns each year on which resort to stay it....our 2010 resort choice goes to DH and he mentioned a resort and room in the car last night, I didn't think anything of it. Later he asked me if I got my instructions, I didn't know what he was talking about He said "your instructions for January! Plan what I said earlier b/c that's what I'm choosing for wdw!" He even asked me if I could book it now
