Jan17 vs. Feb17 Calendars

I have seen both the January and February 2017 travel agent calendars that have been released, but I am confused as to why February has more details regarding fireworks and parades than January.

Can anyone help me figure this out? We are planning our park days and meals and hoping they will update the Jan calendar soon.

Also, our Star Wars fanatic DS makes is causing us to consider the Galactic Spectacular dessert party in HS... thoughts on that? and how do we book it if they haven't announced it yet. Or do we just have to wait?

Disney has been getting slower and slower with full details.
Nobody knows why.
There are lots of GUESSES, but that don't help much.

Just keep checking and re-checking… over and over, and continue that even as your actual dates get closer.

Can I ask what calendar you are looking at? I've been looking for these details for Feb 17 too. I agree, how can I make reservations 180 days out when I don't know where we'll be based on park entertainment and hours! Frustrating!

Yes, it's normal for MK to close at 8 in January

Looking at this years calendar, MSEP did run every night in February. The 2017 calendar looks like they are tentatively planning on Fri-Mon only for a few weeks. But the operating schedules are always being updated, so that could change any time

Don't rely on the current listings, as early-posted listings on many nights WILL change.

But, "normal" is not a word that can be applied to closing times and parade schedules in "off season" at WDW.

Historically, MK's closing time has been as early as 6-7pm, and evening parades have not always run every evening.
We don't know what the final decisions will be for the upcoming months.
Just keep checking as the actual dates approach.
