Mom - That's exactly what I think...the disappointment of no upgrade lasted well, about 5 minutes! "Mike N..you just took $5,000 out of your savings account....what are you gonna do now?? 'We're going on a Disney Cruise!'"

Nope checked with my travel agent about an hour ago. Air Canada Vacations(the wholesaler) is causing the problems.

My grandmother died yesterday so we are headed to Memphis for her funeral on Monday.

Thanks for all your excursion ideas with the younger set in tow. Firsttimemom, I really liked your "get a taxi, and do it on your own" idea. We may try to go to the beach in St. Martin. One poster said there will be 4 ships in St. Thomas the same day...I suppose everything will be crowded there.
Hubby, where are you guys meeting for your game?
Are most of us going to be in Cape Canaveral the night before? Maybe we could do a mini-meet for dinner since we haven't yet chosen a time & place on board. Are we all first time cruisers, or is there a veteran out there who could advise us on where & when other Dis'ers have sucessfully met?

I stopped by and picked up Mickey Mouse lime green paint samples today. Yipee!!!! A week from tomorrow we will be on an airplane headed to Florida.

I was just reading on the main cruise board that if you have a large group Debbie has been able to secure the "private" room at Palos in advance. It sounds like other Dismeets have taken place here. Let me know if anyone else is interested in joining us for Tea.

I also got the mickey paint cards.
I got all different shades of green and let my dad pick out which color he wanted to wear. I also put the "enduke" and our own name on them in sliver. Then laminated them

So sorry to hear of your grandmother. I lost my father, grandfather and grandmother in the last year and know what you are feeling.

I have my last big hurdle to get over before our cruise next week, which is my DD's 10th birthday today. We have 8 9&10 year olds coming for a home spa/makeover/slumber party tonight, and I feel like I haven't put enough energy into really planning this. Fortunately as the kids get older I have learned that I don't need as many structured activities and games planned.

On top of everything DH just accepted a new job, and that has been his major focus for the last 10 days. So it has been a bit hectic around here and I cannot wait until I have a drink in my hand at the sail away party!
