Jan. 2010 Trip...Coming Soon!!

We leave Jan. 10 for 8 days :woohoo: I have already packed DH and my suitcases, DH and DD think I'm rushing things getting packed so early. They just doesn't realize with work, taking down the Christmas decorations, sending thank you notes and normal household work I am running out of time

Going to BLT on the 23rd as well. I'm more excited than the kids. Couldn't wait until the holidays were over so we could be in the final stretch.

Also leaving on the 15th for a quick weekend trip to celebrate DD's 16th birthday. Staying in a GV at the Boardwalk.

Last year during Martin Luther King week it ranged from the 70's to low 50's for us. The low 50''s days it was pretty chilly with the wind. But, it's better than home during January!

We'll be there again during MLK week and I'm hoping for 70's.

We will be at VWL 1/18-1/25! It has been hard to get as excited for this trip as in the past due to the Christmas rush. Hoping things settle down now.

Most of our trips have been in June/July so looking forward to the cooler temps and small crowds! :goodvibes

Same dates for us! Our first DVC stay-renting points-and my big 40 th bday adventure. My two youngest, my sister and DH have never been to WDW before. We'll be doing 4 nights in a Kidani 2 bdrm and 4 at OKW. Can't wait!!! Not too worried about the weather-anything is better than here, and crummy weather might equal smaller crowds.

Well count me in too! Arriving the same time as you. Will have a 2bdrm at SSR for a few days then move into our Treehouse Villa for the remainder.

This will be my fourth January trip. I love this time of year. Little crowds, no humidity and decent weather. Last year we arrived Inaguration day and the temps in Epcot at night were the low to mid 30's and actually overnight dipped down into the 20's. Let's just say the Helly Hensen jacket in the Norway Pavillion was looking pretty good even at $250.00.

The key is layers. T-shirts with a fleece or sweatshirt for mornings, remove fleece in afternoon, then you have it for evening. I prefer capri jeans or light weight summer pants with a couple pairs of shorts.

I am now in too excited to sleep mode......I soooo need my Dis fix soon.

PS the Helly Hensen jacket did come home with me, but only after Norway had a 50-65% off sale the day we were leaving. DH got one too!

I have been so busy, I just realized we only have 1 week and 6 days until WDW!!!:scared1:

I haven't even started packing!! I have all our ADRs made, travel hotel booked (traveling in our mini-van from Louisiana - we stay in Lake City, FL)....

I guess I will start monitoring the Orlando weather....:cloud9:

...and one of my Christmas presents just came in the mail....D23 membership!!:banana::banana:

Have a great time everyone.Any Florida weather beats the snow and ice.

We leave on the 6th and will be there until the 10th. A quick trip, but what better way to celebrate my birthday than treating myself to AKL CL and a Sunrise Safari!

I have to agree..leaving on 1/31 to spend my Groundhog Day birthday at BWV. 28 days and counting.

...one more day down!!:banana::banana:

I still didn't get any packing done, but I did read my new D23 magazine!! I have started my traditional - read and study (like it is my first visit to WDW)every Disney book and magazine in the house....Disney Files, Passholder, and now D23!!

And, I keep checking our waitlist at least 3 times a day...lol!

Now - I am off to check the Orlando area weather...:cloud9:

we are leaving tomorrow aswell... I think I better just wear my winter coat there too!!! :) its going to be BRRRR Cold... I guess the 56degree is better then 7degrees it is right now!!! :rotfl2:

Oshawa, maybe we'll see you there! We're at Kidani Village from 1/9 - 1/15. Bet you're even colder than we are! My daughter in the country had -21 today but it was only -7 here this morning because we're closer to the big lake (Superior, that is)! Even +30 degrees could be 50 degrees warmer than home, so it's all good.;)
