FYI... I asked about the AP code and the DDP. The CM told me that I could make it package, but since I got a room discount, no discount on the DDP. Rack rate on that.

There is a new post on the resort board that flickwizard just posted - sounds like tomorrow morning a GP code will be out.

Also, there's a new option at the top of the Disney HP for Special Offers - up by the Tickets & Reservations.

This is what I've been expecting when the visa code didn't come out first. I'm guessing there is no visa code this time or it will come out later which totally sucks as that is the sole reason I got the visa card in the first place...grrrrr! Hopefully the GP code is better than my AAA discount but I'm not counting on it

So ... some have reported adding the DDP to their AP discount and others say they were not able to do so?

We did the DxDDP with an AP discounted room in September so I know they do occasionally offer it, but I don't want to call until I have some confirmation that it is available for January. Also, they won't have to cancel my original AP discount room only ressie and re-book as pacakge, will they? I'd worry about availability, especially once a general public discount is announced.

BTW, the DIS has the codes up as soon as they are confirmed by Disney. No need to go elsewhere when we have the information.

Today when the CM asked me if wanted to add dining (Jan 6-11), we discussed if there was a discount (no, room only). When I asked about adding it later, she said yes, but X number of days in advance. Also said we would then have to put it into Package form and the Room Only would be cancelled, deposit refunded, but another deposit must be made, and that the room would be guaranteed since I had it already.

Not sure if this helps you any... I guess the only way to know for sure is just to call and ask.

We don't have confirmation of that. It may very well come out tomorrow. HOWEVER when the fall discounts came out there was just AP then GP no visa until later. Now we have AP discounts out and no visa when historically visa has come out first. We'll just have to wait until tomorrow to see. My guess is that there won't be a visa code right now.

Let me verify my understanding of your experience: The CM asked you if you wanted to add DDP but told you, if you did, you'd lose your room discount? Or, were you saying, when you discussed a discount with rhe CM you were talking about a DDP discount (or something other than room discount)? Thanks!
