I started seeing decent airfare for after MLK weekend out of Minneapolis in November last year. I got non-stop for like $206 or so.

I'm so elated that the best rate program was changed to 60 days out. That means I don't have to book my January trip before I leave for my September trip!

What is the best rate program? Where do I find it?

No special shirts for us. We like to wear any one of our WI Badgers or Packers tshirts and jackets that we have. It's sparks conversation with people that may be from WI. Every once in awhile we get "Alright, Wisconsin!" cheers. It's neat to hear the friendly voices....

I'm guessing we're all just sitting tight and waiting to see if any cool discounts come out. Honestly, I'm starting to lose hope a little bit and am now focusing on other costs -- checking out Southwest's DING offers religiously (even tho they're not accepting bookings through our dates yet. LOL!) and looking for other ways to drive this trip's costs down from astronomical to merely painful. For example, it looks like we'll be hitting up WEGOSHOP pretty hard upon our arrival to control dining expenses. Anybody else out there with innovative strategies for cost management????

We ended up booking our Jan. 1st stay at WL with AAA (two rooms) then we used the BRP to book 3 more nights at WL (Jan. 2nd-5th). There were no BRP rates for Jan. 1. Then, we booked 2 rooms for 7 nights (Jan. 5-12) at POR using the BRP rate. We are very happy with how it all worked out for us! Yipee! We're committed and on our way!!!!

I booked us through AAA, but am still keeping my eyes open. I'm also keeping an eye on airfare. I'm assuming you'd be flying out of Boston or Manchester. We're hoping for something good out of Providence - especially SWA, but they haven't released any rates for those dates yet.

We weren't too happy with the prices - but here to hoping a code comes out, and soon

Hi there! Mind if I jump on this code watch train? Dh and I are taking my mom (3rd visit) and grandparents (1st visit!) Jan 12-17. I booked airfare last week when I came across a great fare DFW-MCO for $148! I've been debating what to do about rooms. I really wanted to give WL a try, but am considering 2 rooms at POR. I think my grandparents would enjoy that. I called CRO last week to see if DH or I had a code attached to our names -- no luck.

Here's hoping that a code comes out soon and my name is actually attached!

I really wish we could go to WL. Unfortunately, with no codes, it's just a little price prohibitive this time. Thankfully, though, my grandparents are late 60's/early 70's and have no mobility problems.

Maybe if - no WHEN - codes come out, we can book WL!

I know we have to be there on the 19th, but have not made any reservations yet. Last Jan we were booked at POFQ for the AAA rate of @ $115, then a code came out and we got it for $79. I really want to stay at the Polynesion as it will be the last year we will all fit into 1 room.

We probably won't go to disney for 2 years after this trip [this is our first]. I was able to save $160 with AAA on my stay at POR [family of 5] and did the dining package. I was hoping to get a better deal but oh well.
