I'm loving these Kimmar! Dare I ask...how were the "views" from the Standard rooms? Maybe I don't want to know... ....okay, yes I do!

...uhhhhh , honestly, I have NO IDEA! Every time I went to either one of my DS's rooms for something, their drapes were closed, so I didn't really get to see the view, and I never thought to walk across the rooms to get to the balconies. If you look at one of the beginning pix that I posted, my oldest DS's balcony is in between the two trees to the right - it's the grayish-bluish balcony on the middle floor....

That's okay, I probably don't want to know. I keep asking myself...is it worth the extra $100 per night? Yes, if you can afford it (which I can't) or if you're in the resort a lot more. But for a 3-night trip (and first trip to Disney since 2001) it's probably not worth it. Either way, we'll be at the AKL and that's all I care!!!

...THAT's the 'spirit'!! Besides, there are far worse 'std views' at other WDW resorts than AKL.....like, WL.....

IMPORTANT NOTICE:

Frunch is NO LONGER AVAILABLE...however, they DO offer 'jungle juice' in its place....it's guava, papaya, and orange juice mixed together....

ALSO:

The old stand-bys at the pool bar are not available either....it seems that there are a few drinks that are available from ALL the resorts (like pina coladas [but I forgot what THEY call 'em], pool lemonade, etc. and they come in a souvenir plastic glass with a blue stem)....you CAN get a Victoria Falls Mist, but you MUST specifically ask for it by name....

We're officially booked at AKL for the 2nd time! We just switched our ressies today. We had to go with the Savannah view again. I just couldn't resist. As a surprise for my Mom, we upgraded her from standard to Savannah too!

I might be going to Disney in December to! I have a Jetblue credit that i have to use before i loose it .Have to use it within a year its purchased.
I have some time off in December so i think i will look it into going. I can just hear what my friends and family are saying about this lol.

Hmm after going to see Mickey and friends next month.
