CL have views of the pool and savanah. If you want savanah you need to have them put a note on ur ressie or other wise theres a chance you will get the pool view.

we have four nights booked at akl for the end of our trip in January, I'm seriously considering upgrading to concierge, mainly because I'd love to surprise dh with the sunrise safari

what are the other main benefits? also roughly what is the difference in price, I think at this point I would have to call akl and upgrade through disney rather than our ta

and my last question (for now, mwahaha!) to concierge level rooms have a savanah view? dh is realy excited about seeing the animals...

Tinknme, when did your luggage tags arrive? Mine came Friday. Did you receive your welcome packet (Planet Hollywood vouchers, etc.)? I didn't receive that packet yet but I did receive my luggage tags; I've read a lot of posts that the luggage tags arrive AFTER the welcome packet?!

What's up with only receiving 1 luggage tag per person?! I was planning on 2 suitecases down (2 in our party) and checking one large duffle bag in addition on the flight home (plan to buy lots of suvies). But now I won't have enough luggage tags....anyone else have this problem?

We used the ME in December. We received one Disney luggage tag per person and two ME yellow AKL tags per person. The tags arrived at the same time.

I have not received a welcome package, just the ME tags. I thought the other documents were sent out about 21 days before your check-in date

Which tags are you talking about? I received 2 of the yellow luggage tags for each person in our party.

SOOOOO, how are your plans coming along??? Did you decide on the carriage ride or the romance dinner??? I bet you are getting pretty excited with all the wedding plans and your very own disneymoon!!!! Keep us posted ~ we all love hearing about your plans!!!!

Sorry about the slooooooow response, work and life outside of work has been so busy, I haven't had time to keep up on the boards! Anyway, plans for my wedding are coming along pretty well. We have gotten quite a few of the "big" things done lately-just a lot of shopping left to do, a lot of bills to pay, and odds and ends to tie up!

As far as our plans for our Disneymoon, that is pretty much set (minus the whole last payment thing... ). We don't have too many set plans-just dinner reservations, and pretty much want to keep it that way because it's our first time there. We are more just into doing whatever we feel like/run into-spur of the moment type stuff. I don't think we'll end up doing the romantic dinner, but possibly the carriage ride...we are planning on doing the Segway tours at Epcot, I still have to call and reserve spots for us still though!

I think I made a boo-boo. I looked at my ME yellow luggage tags closer this morning and see that there are 4 which I knew, but I thought 2 were for the flight down and 2 were for the return flight. They are all for the flight down, which equates to 2 tags per person. I'm assuming they will give return flight tags when we are there?

For the return, we checked our luggage in at the airline desk that was right outside the resort entrance. This was at WL, but I am assuming the same deal is for all the resorts that offer ME. I'm not sure which airlines participate; I'm sure if you can get it on the way down, you'll be able to get it on the way back!

I'm pretty sure you don't need tags for when you leave (return trip). The yellow tags are only for the flight down. This is because they need to identify your bags at the baggage carousel.

When you leave AKL you are responsible for calling the bell hop or bringing your bags down to check out and then onto the Magical Express bus. We have never flown with the air carriers that do the check in with Disney. We've always flown southwest out of Orlando and we still had to go to flight check-in to indicate we have checked bags and then bring them to the checked bag drop off. This is even if you have a Southwest boarding pass already printed out.

Hi All!

I just read on another thread that Pop is expecting 2000 people to check in on Sun. Not sure if this is a rumor/exaggeration/etc. However, doesn't AKL share buses with Pop? We're arriving on Sunday. Does this mean that the bus will be packed and a nightmare to have to wait at each stop for everyone to get off and get their bags, etc.? Not looking forward to that.

Also, I read about the tables being packed for dinner and stuff. How was the crowd level last year right at this time? Those who just got back last week said that there was usually a half hour wait and no need for fast passes for the most part....

....actually, over 1600 people checked in at Pop on Sunday.....I, on the other hand, was on my way to AKL....

We booked standard, but if we aren't comp. upgraded, then we'll pay to move to Savannah view!! We had such good luck in Feb. being comp. upgraded to Deluxe Savannah!!

...DON'T count on it...AKL is filled to the gills...we didn't get an upgrade because every single room was booked - I had requested a bunk room, and NONE were available....

I"m sure she's having a great time.......... just hope she's saving some domes for us!!!

Really?!! COOL!!! Can you clarify? In-room breakfast...does that count as a TS or CS? What about dinner in your room? If I can't get ressies to Boma (sore subject) maybe eating on our balcony would be a nice trade off...
