It is that time of the year again for our jam/jelly exchange. You can use these on toasts, for pasteries, or other goodies.

This will be a $15.00 exchange before shipping, and the sign up deadline is Monday 8/18. Please send your exchanges out by Wed. 8/27.

Be sure to wrap all jars well, and to write fragile, glass....on the boxes that you send out.

Some areas may have specialities, so if you are able to get a certain type of jam/jelly, then feel free to let me know. I might be able to match you up with someone who likes that particular type. Jams/Jellies for this exchange are for special jams that you can find at farmers markets, orchards, or ones that are made in your state... But if you have company like Smuckers that is from the state that you live in, you are able to send out jams, and jellies from them.

To join in, please send me the below info.

Are you able to be an elf-Yes or No?

I'm in, I'm in!!!!!

I have been waiting for this one:cool1:

I love jam and jelly but think this I might have to sit this one out as I reckon it will be expensive to mail jars across the pond. :sad2:

Have fun guys and I'll just have to read about what everyone else gets! :rotfl:

Yes, this can be pricey to send.
As for those of us participating within the U.S., using the flat rate boxes are the way to go with sending out this exchange :thumbsup2 .

Dunno if this is acceptable or not...

I live in a rural area and we grow pears, apples, peaches, plums, strawberries, watermelons and grapes. I'm not a big fan of additives in food and have been making bread, jams and jellies for years now. I make (& will be in the next week) watermelon rind preserves, strawberry jam & jelly and grape jelly.

Not patting myself on the back as I use my Grandmother's recipes but they are good :rotfl:

So, if any particularly would like authentic, home grown Southern jams or jellies, I'd like to participate. If it's an issue that it's not processed in a plant, no biggie! :goodvibes
