I've wanted to ask this question for years, but keep forgetting

Why does AT&T package my wireless bill UPSIDE-DOWN? It comes like this every month, and has been that way for as long as I can remember. I have to turn the bill upside down to open it. Is it like this for anyone else?

My paycheck stub is like that and I have always wondered!! Weird!

Come to think of it, I have had other things come like that too. But I just figured a gigantic Dow Jones company like AT&T would have figured out how to fix it after all these years (it's been at least 7 or 8 years now).

I believe it is because of the machine that folds them. there are 2 machines, a printer and a folder/stuffer/sealer

when it gets out the of printer, you move the stack of papers to the folder machine. you have to flip them a certain way to get them to fold right, if you dont they fold backwards.

I did newletters for a non profit once and they they had a machine that did the folding..it is a pita to go through all the papers to switch them to the right way after they came from the printers, so we just left them that way and they folded backwards.

If you get a fat enough bill, it's come in a letter size envelope.

There's 4 lines on the one bill, so there's a ton of calls listed, and the text messages can be pages long. Don't worry, it's on paperless billing now.

Yep, it's the machine. We use one at my place of work.

You could go paperless and just print out (or, as I do, save the PDF to a folder on my computer) the bill for yourself...no more upside down bill.

Our Verizon bill, or rather Frontier now that they changed, has come that way for years and it does annoy me. You'd think large companies like that could put your bill into the envelope the correct way.
