I once read a story about a woman whose husband had died some years before. She owned a farm and after she came back in from feeding the chickens, she had realized that the diamond was gone from the band. Of course, she panicked and scoured the house and the outside trying to find this diamond. After a week or so, she gave up and put the ring away so no other further damaged occurred. So, the next week she was serving sunny side up eggs to her son. The woman cracked open an egg in the frying pan and was moving the yolk around and she noticed something hard in the egg. So, she got a little spoon to take out whatever was in it and she discovered, lo and behold, the diamond to her wedding ring. Odd isn't it?
Ever since then I have made sure to take off my ring and keep it in a little dish so nothing happens to it.
Glad you found the ring
