It's True .....

IT'S OPEN!!! WOW!!!: thumbsup2:thumbsup2

Been to MK too many times to count and think I can count on one hand the number of times it was open. It used to be open more in the mid 80's but back then the menu was just so - so.

I am so wanting the Lobster Roll. Being from Minnesota we don't get lobster very often. At least not good lobster. And never a Lobster Roll.

I am keeping my fingers and toes crossed that it will be open when we are there in May. Need Pixie Dust too.

Mickey Keep that place open!

I agree! I go to WDW several times a year and have never caught the Noodle Station or El Pirate y Perico open. Then again I've never been able to catch Green Eggs and Ham over at Universal open either.:rotfl:

OP: Mind if we ask where you found the coupon? Thanks! We'll be at WDW in 10 days. Can't wait to see if this restaurant is still open.

Hey lady!!!!!!
I think this is what she used so we may be out of luck!!!!

See ya in 10 days!!!

NO WAY!!!!! Where is the fainting smilie? I am AMAZED it was open.. had to text my DH at work to tell him it really does exist!

That coupon was good for several QS restaurants in each park during off hours and during the holiday week. I've seen them offered before to try to get people to scatter out their eating times a bit more during busy times and to take some demands off the TS restaurants during high season weeks.

The dates for the restaurant discounts though are the exact blackout dates for florida resident season pass holders. I saw the coupons but couldn't get into the parks on those days...lol.

It wasn't just for the noodle station. It had probably 15 park restaurants included and only during select hours of the day and only for the holiday week.

The coupon is being printed on receipts from various gift shops around WDW and can also be found on the all-parks time guide found in the hotels. This coupon is only good until this Saturday, but you never know, they might print more for next week.

Thanks!

Hey park buddy! Yeah, we may be out of luck with the coupon. It is now after midnight so we are now officially in single digits.:rotfl: We'll see you and the guys at POFQ in just 9 days.:cool1::dance3::cheer2::banana:

We are on the road now headed home. Early next week I will put my SD card in the computer at home and see if I can upload the picture for all of you. ;)

And yes, the coupon was usable in several quick service restaurants in each park; before 11:30 am and between 3 & 4:30 pm.

I saw it open in 2007 but not again...
Is there a reason why WDW closes this place up so much?

That is funny-- I feel like it is always open when I am there, but I've still never seen El Pirata y El Perico open (or whatever it's called now).

Very much doubt it will be open when we go in oct. DH and I only use the place as a quick route back to mainstreet.

I know this was opened all the time from August to October in 2001 at least when I was on the CP. I only know that since my roommate worked there. I didn't really like their slection of food, but I would stop by and say to everyone if I was in the park. Then again, that was over almost 10 years ago, and I know things change all the time. I heard they changed the name of it, but have notice a lot of DISers stating it was closed.

I ate there for on one of my sons' band trips in 2006 when it was noodles.

I got some sort of Chicken with something bowl, my one son got Beef and Broccoli and the other chicken nuggets.

It was OK and nice to have something different for CS. If its open next week I'll take pics and post them.

Wow! I've only ever been during crowd-filled weeks (Christmas, President's week) and I've never even seen it open!
Glad to hear it was good in case I encounter it in the future :thumbsup2

Is there a reason why WDW closes this place up so much?

My theory on why it was closed so much is because it's not technically an "inside" restaurant... It's sort of all open and stuff, and because of that, it can't stay a "comfortable" temperature for guests... Part of the joy of sitting down and eating is getting cooled off, or warmed up (if you're lucky enough to go on a cold day! lol) That's a similar theory I had for Pirates Y Tortuga Cafe.. Or whatever it's called..

The Pirate Tortuga place, I used to eat at it, and I loved it.. loved the tacos and salads and stuff, but in recent memory it either hasn't been open when I'm hungry or I'm not doing QS or food in the parks and it's open! *shrug* -- I'll be there in 3 1/2 weeks, so we'll see if either are open...

The Tomorrowland Terrace was open when we were there at Christmas time, and they were serving breakfast... it was actually a really good, big plate of food. We were on the DP and 4 adults shared 2 meals.. eggs, meat, potatoes, biscuits, gravy and 2 drinks, if I recall, of course, that was like.. Christmas day... busy enough people would eat there!

We will be in the MK on Monday! Anyone there now -- Is the Tomorrowland Terrace open? I would love to have a Lobster Roll!!

Keeping my fingers crossed and toes that I can get a Lobster Roll on Monday!

LMAO! I can't believe it! I have NEVER seen this place open, not even when we went in the week before 4th of July! I wish it were open more often!
