the infamous Noodle Station, now known as Tomorrowland Terrace Restaurant is actually open now! I actually took picture to prove it so I will remember. In all my 11 years of trips coming 12 times, it is the first time it has been open when we were here. :thumbsup2 And we ate lunch there with a 25% off coupon. Wish they had this open more often as the view from the tables was nice and it was a great escape from the heat as it is all shady. :cool2:

Please post your picture. I always joke that it is a fake restaurant, because it is always closed when I'm there. :rotfl2:

I'm not very technically astute, so I don't know if I will be able to figure out how to post the picture (I will try). But, it was great! DH had a tenderloin blue cheese salad, I had the pasta primivera, and DS's had the usual bacon cheeseburger. You could get the pasta with shrimp or chicken, but I just got it plain. They have the better chicken tenders also. And they have a lobster roll, which seemed to be popular with the other patrons. Wish it were open all the time. We watched the noon parade from our seats. :thumbsup2

Sounds like the menu has changed!

That restaurant was on DH's bucket list. He FINALLY managed to eat there one night in 2008. (I was sick so I stayed in the room, but he and DS took lots of photos!) It was Asian - egg rolls, stir fry, etc.

In '09 we had lunch there and it was burgers & fries.

It seems like maybe we ate there one evening last summer, but I may be wrong.

1) You have found the Holy Grail of WDW !
2) Now, can you help us with finding
. . . Jimmy Hoffa
. . . The Fountain of Youth *
. . . the missing 18½ minutes of tape

* In my case, I'd settle for The Fountain of Middle Age

The prices ranged from $7.95 to $10.95 for an entree. But, with out 25% off coupon, we saved almost ten bucks on our meals. Wish they would offer discounts on quick service all the time. ;)

The Tomorrowland Terrace restaurant was open when I was in the Magic Kingdom in late March. Like the original posters, I was so shocked I felt compelled to take photographs so I had proof! The menu was considerably different from the Asian selections advertised at the old noodle station. The new place had pasta, a beef and blue cheese salad and even a lobster roll. I was curious, but I ended up having dinner at Cosmic Ray's instead.

Do you know if they are accepting the dining plan?

I used to eat there all the time 20+ years ago when it was the Tomorowland Terrace. I'd probably go there next month if it's still open just for nostalgia purposes.

I've never caught it when it had the 'noodle station' menu served.
It is as elusive as El Pirate y Perico aka Turtuga Tavern.

I agree! I go to WDW several times a year and have never caught the Noodle Station or El Pirate y Perico open. Then again I've never been able to catch Green Eggs and Ham over at Universal open either.:rotfl:

OP: Mind if we ask where you found the coupon? Thanks! We'll be at WDW in 10 days. Can't wait to see if this restaurant is still open.

And they have a lobster roll, which seemed to be popular with the other patrons.

I ate there the first week in April and had the lobster roll. It was pretty good, but the bun was so large, I just ended up eating the filling and left most of the bread behind. The lobster roll was not as good as the one served in Epcot during the Food and Wine Festival.

I hope its open early Sept.. I know it may be highly doubtful but a girl can dream, right? Id love the lobster roll.. Anyone confirm if its on DDP for CS?

The coupon is being printed on receipts from various gift shops around WDW and can also be found on the all-parks time guide found in the hotels. This coupon is only good until this Saturday, but you never know, they might print more for next week.

In my family, if there is no picture, there is no proof:rotfl:! We've never seen it open either in our many, many trip, so I would love to see a picture of it open! Do they only open it during the busy times, I wonder?

:rotfl2: Well isn't this a monumental day? I've only eaten here once in going on 8 trips, and I was too young to really remember it. Never eaten at the other elusive ones though! Glad you enjoyed your meal! :)

I've been going to Disney since it opened in 1971 and I've never seen it open, so I'm still skeptical! :confused3 Waiting for the picture. How clever of them to offer us 25% off coupon to an establishment that's seldom open for business! It wasn't open in November, going again in June and August, still hopeful after all these years!
