Its time for add on points!! We just closed on an OKW resale. We must be offical because I rec'd a call today from DVC to welcome us and to see if we wanted to purchase some add on points. And I certainly do! Even dh (who I had to talk into this) was thinking we needed more points.
I cant wait for my first trip home!!

Now, for a piece of advice - Are the add-on points they want to sell you for the resort you want to use them at? Home resort points at the 11-month window are the best option.

Points from elsewhere at the 7-month window are not as desirable, as you'll probably have to waitlist and gamble on getting in with those. Especially during what is value season, as that's among the busiest for DVC.

Hi markrg! Im sure the points are for BCV which is fine with me because I love the location. I know I will want to stay at both resorts (actually I want to stay at all of them!). We looked at some resales also to get more points at OKW but alot I saw were
almost as much as buying from disney once you add in closing costs. And actaully VB is starting to sound pretty good too. I have heard lots of great things about it and it looks beautiful.
I havent stayed at any of them yet but Im pretty sure I will love each one.

Oh, now that's a different story, Deena, as our first 'home' is BWV. And that location is great for a good number of reasons, Epcot and MGM being among them. Just making sure you knew.

And we just bought our first addon of 100 pts at Vero Beach, for use at VB. We'll be quite happy with them!
