It's raining!

I know it's like 100 degrees today, but... :

These maps confuse me!:confused3 I am a little slow on the uptake!;) In any case, I am up in the Miracle Mile-Beverly Hills area of L.A., and I was just out walking around. It is hotter than hades outside! Not a single cloud in the sky. The sun is beating down like it is July. It doesn't even remotely seem close to Halloweentime! Why won't it cool down, for the love of God?!! Anyway, as I was grumbling to myself about how freakin' hot it is, I looked up and noticed a nice billboard - the Mickey Pumpkin. And it said Halloweentime at Disneyland. And then I looked around at the people in shorts and tank tops, cooling off outside of the Coffee Bean, and up at the crystal clear blue sky, and wiped a bead of sweat off my brow, and thought to myself, "Yep. It sure seems like Halloweentime, all right."

Good. So I am not the only one confused by the map!;)

It's funny because Weather.com (Yahoo Weather) still says there will be some light precipitation on Saturday, I think, but Accuweather does not. The way the weather is going today, I cannot fathom that a freak rainstorm will happen. It is just too hot. But it is supposed to drop in temperature tomorrow, and then a little more the next day, and then a little more. So if all goes well, it should be comfortable by the end of the week/weekend.

I hate weather.com...they are never right...NEVER!!

Sorry about that. The map shows it will be very very light rain, if it's correct. Weather is always hard to forecast outside of 3 days. DLR is in the .05 to .10 inches of rain. So not much, but a lot better than this hot weather we're having right now.

I live in a place that it rains a lot and sometimes after the 6th or 7th day of grey skies, I start complaining.
However, I was in Disneyland from September 13th to the 20th and I found it so hot.
Of course, all the CMs said that it was quite pleasant and they did not find it hot.
Everyone here thinks I am crazy because when I came back and they asked me how my trip was, I replied that it was great except for the fact that every single day it was so bright and sunny and hot and I just couldn't take one more day!
I cheered when the plane landed and I saw all the clouds!
I guess I am just not used to all that bright never-ending sunshine!

I remember a trip I took with my oldest DS in January 2005. It rained and while we had ponchos, we didn't have umbrellas and we had to buy them at the World of Disney store. It was really raining hard and it was all everyone was talking about, which we found really amusing as coming from the east coast, rain, unless it's like a hurricane or something, is no big deal! Anyway, DL was practically empty. I think we were the only people even in Toontown. Toontown does not drain well, in some spots we were slogging our way through several inches of water, but we had a great time and I have some terrific pictures of us in our ponchos in the park with either no one or almost no one in the background! LOL, my favorite umbrella to use is my royal blue DLR umbrella! DS is now 15 and wouldn't be caught dead with a DL umbrella, so I keep one in my car and one in the house!

It has been so hot lately a little bit of rain is nice. I went on monday when this thread was started and was wearing shorts and I t-shirt. Turned out to be a good idea because it was hot all day even with the tiny bit of rain.
