having Grandchildren makes these men go all soft & daft.
Last year we had our first grand child & while he was only a few months old Dh wanted to have christmas lights on the house, so he brought some for the lower part of the house. This year he wanted more lights for the top of the house.
Dh put both sets up yesterday , after switching them on he stepped back to admire the christmas lights & said what are we going to buy next year.

All this for our grandson , Just gotta love that man of mine at times

Our son lives in the same street as us & there has been talk between them of getting & running the track from his house down to ours for scalextic So needless to say i've put my foot down & said NO .
