IT'S OFFICIAL!!!****OCTOBER 2014****...ROLL CALL!! Join the party!

I booked in November (I think!) and I want to say it came late January.

Disney Touring Plans

And no flash drive just the magnet and info...:(

Made our reservation in January. Only three nights. No jump drive in our Incredimail when it arrived. Would have liked a new souvenir.

We booked in early November and got the flash drive in late December.

Thanks everyone! Even if we don't get a flash drive fun to know we should be expecting mail in 6 weeks or so :cool1:

I booked mid January, so hopefully I'll receive my mail within the next month or so, based on everyone else's comments :)

We booked the second week of January and I got my Mickey Mail on 2/1 or so.

No flash drive, but that's fine with me, I love the booklet (it has your name on it!! :)) and I love Dumbo, so that magnet is a keeper!

Oh man, my schedule seems so tamed compared to yours! Never considered doing water parks in the am and parks in the pm. Hmmmm....

It probably sounds more ambitious than it is. For example, we will not spend much time at AK. If we use morning EMH, we would definitely be finished by 11 am/noon at the latest. Last time we went (May 2013) the bus from Pop stopped at AK and Blizzard Beach..so we would just get off at BB and stay there for a few hours. Same thing with EPCOT, as in we don't do much. Other days, we might go to a waterpark from say 11-3, giving us time to sleep in, then go to MK around 7 or 8 on a night its open till 1 am.

Also, the alternative if we are going to a park in the evening is to hang out at the pool, and I think the waterpark is more exciting. DFi is excited to try to waterslides, and I think they look pretty fun too. Plus, the Pop pools are kinda boring :)

We're booked Oct. 4-11 at SSR, although now I'm thinking of trying to move our reservations to VGF in a couple of weeks when the 7mo window for booking out of our home resort opens. We haven't been to WDW in ages (Christmas 2006), so we're all very excited. This trip will include my husband and I, our daughter and her husband, their little one (21mo at trip), and our 3 teenage children (18, 16, and 14).

I think I would love to stay at VGF, so if you can do it, jumpt on it!!

We are looking at oct 18-25. still deciding between AKL,WL, or CR. MNSSHP, F&W festival. Hoping for Free dining.
Husband is till trying to go in December but we have gone in December the last two trips. I told him I need a new experience. Besides my 3 year old LOVES Halloween how can we not take him to the Halloween party.
I think we might add a few days for Harry Potter we went when it was new and loved it, looking forward for the expansion. So much to look forward to. Time to plan, plan, plan.

We are doing HHN too! We are at Universal the 14-19, so we will probably go that Thursday, the 16th. Considering surprising my Dfi with Express Passes for HHN as a wedding gift, because I know he will want to see everything.

We are all booked for our next DW trip!! October 16-26th and staying at the cabins at Fort Wilderness  2nd trip during the sept/oct time, it's one of our favorite times to go. love all the Halloween decorations, low crowds, perfect weather, and of course who can forget the food & wine festival and attending the MNSSHP???? we love it all!!!
5th trip, this being the longest one yet! :dance3:

My planning is pretty much at a stand still right now.

Need to wait for park hours to be published so I can plan around them, then buy party tickets and book ADR's in April.
Can't start shopping either, no summer clothes out yet! :)

This is the boring part, waiting.... :)

I'm starting to get to that point as well. Although yesterday I went through all the menus of the places we are currently planning to go to and I priced it all out just to see an estimated price to see if the Dining Plan would be worth it for us (We're renting DVC so can't get it free) and the plan would cost $60-$80 more then buying the food on our own. Which isn't a huge difference but thats valuable souvenir money! lol (And not to start a DDP debate, its different for everyone and their needs and how they plan to use it, wish it worked for us but just not this trip)

Well soon it will be March which means April is right around the corner and ADR time! Is there a specific time in the morning they are "released" (cause it will be the best excuse for me to skip the gym in the morning! lol)

Yes, it's frustrating that it's too early to make ADRs or FP+ plans. I'm trying to decide on DDP as well. I like it because it's one more thing we wouldn't need to shell out for at the parks. We really like table service meals and snacks, so it seems like it will be a better deal for us. My daughter made the point that since most of us don't do big breakfasts, we would be able to eat in the 2-credit restaurants for dinner many evenings. Made sense to me. Appetizers and desserts are a plus as well. I like for a vacation to be a little more special than every day. I clip coupons so we don't have to skimp when it comes to vacation.

You are right about boring! I want to plan, but I have done everything I can until April.

On the upside, I just got my first purchase for the trip. A friend of mine had a Thirty-one party, and I ordered a large utility tote to hold our trip snacks for the drive down! I'm probably more excited than the bag actually warrants, but it is SOMETHING for our Disney trip!!! :yay:

Does anyone know if you can book activities at 180+10? I want to book the pirate's cruise for my kids. I would love to book everything (ADR's and that) at the same time.

New here! We're planning our first family trip October 19-25 and will be staying in the Nemo Suites at AOA.

It will be me, hubby, my parents, and our 3 boys. All the adults have been to Disney before but it's the first trip for the 3 boys - they will be 4, 2, and 1 for the trip.

I'm ready to do some serious planning! I feel like I've read every blog out there!

I also ordered a 31 bag ,mine is a weekender black and it says I love Minnie on it. I also ordered the red and white poka dot tie to tie on the side of my bag so it's Disney all the way.....:rotfl2:

So I'm a bit jealous of the September board members right now! ;) How much longer do you think it will be before they officially release October hours?
