Its Official Dvc Gets 180 Dining Window!!!

I am so excited, I just got off the phone with MS and they told me its official that DVC is included in the 180 Dining window. I didn't get it in writing (LOL) so I of course can't say 100% that this is true but maybe the emails worked. Hope this helps. Have a magical day!!!

I just don't know what to do, previous to this change I should have been making a PS for Cinderellas Royal Table at my 60 day mark on August 7th. Do I call on August 4th, just in case? This whole thing is drving my crazy!!!

I also heard that they've now changed it to 90 days for all on site...DVC included. Either way, I think our emails did bring about a change in thier plans.

Okay, I am likely confused now... Are all restaraunts available for PS at the 180 day mark, or only some?

I also read on the restaurants board that it is 90 days for everyone-on-site, off-site, DVC, non-DVC, package, room only, etc.

I guess they said they were flooded with complaint calls.

I have also read about dining CM's telling people different things.

Who knows

Terry S - Thats why I posted that I didn't get it in writing. MS could be giving me misinformation or trying to tell me what I wanted to hear. I asked MS if DVC members would be able to take advantage of the 180 day PS that was being offered to WDWTC paid reservations and she said yes it was official. I thought I'd let everyone know but you may want to check yourself. I hope MS is right. I also think everyones emails sent a strong message that DVC members aren't a quiet group who will take shoddy treatment . Have a nice day.

TwingleMum - I hope you are right, but there have been a lot of reports that the 180 day window is out and that now it's going to be 90 days for all PS. As everyone else has said, this thing changes as soon as a new version comes out. Until we get an official annuncement, then everything is subject to change. But thank you for reporting your information!

I think if MS wanted us to know the official ruling, they could do a flash e-mail message to members so we know what's what. If this is true, I hope they do just that!

Terry S - I think no one knows that the heck is going on. I can tell you that I have a November PS that I want to make for Cindy's for my DD's birthday and August 4th will be 102 days. Unless I see some sort of official announcement before hand I don't feel I have any choice but to call on Monday so I have a chance at making a PS for Cindy's. If I were in your shoes I would try and make those PS on Monday and see what happens. If you can make them, great. If you can't then at least you will know when you can.

I am very pleased that they decided not to follow through with this plan. However I don't understand why they didn't just revert back to the original schedule? Or just add DVC and AP holders to the 180 day program. Honestly you wonder where the suits got their common sense from- first off cooking up plans that alienate their most loyal customers and then having to back peddle? You can't rob Peter to pay Paul.

We're at a 100+ so I've already made a bunch but will have to wait to make my MK ones....but not as long as I would have before the change in policy!
