I honestly never believed the rumors about this. I'm kinda shocked that they are bringing it back. I wish WDW would get it for a limited time also.

I never saw Captain EO so I have been curious. Maybe I'll make it down to DL.
Now this just leaves my curiosity of how good Figment and Horizons were at DW.
I like HISTA so I would like to know if it is permanent or not.

The original Figment (Journey Into Imagination) and Horizons were some of the most classic rides Disney ever produced. They are engrained into people's memories that experienced them. Will not be forgotten.

I remember the "rumor" thread and how many people were just so POSITIVE this was never gonna happen in a million years. Well hello... time flew didn't it? LOL!

I'm only a bit disappointed though- because I've heard it's not going to stay very long... I hope what I heard is WRONG though. Because our plans aren't including DL until 2011! We can't squeeze in another trip to DL before then either. We have all our trips already planned and I hope we're able to make it to see Captain EO before it's gone again... keep it a long time please Disney! (and maybe bringing it to WDW too would be nice. LOL)

I'm hearing it will come to EPCOT also....just a later date than Disneyland.

Well, for one thing, is it actually possible to put back where it was at WDW? Honey I shrunk the Audience is in that theatre now, and they made some major changes in the building when they put that one in

Not to mention that currently, while it's not a great theme, it IS a cohesive theme between the 2 attractions at the Imagination Pavilion.

Between that and the fact that TDO (Team Disney Orlando) doesn't like to do special projects like DL does, I don't expect this to happen.

There is another possible outcome though, if they ran both shows somehow but I doubt that would be feasible.
