It's NEVER Too Late, for Number 8 - the most UNOFFICIAL, 'official' AKL thread yet!

I finally made most of my ADRs for our November trip:

Yachtsman Steakhouse
Cape May Clam Bake
Portobello
Olivia's Cafe (Thanksgiving)
Sanaa
Le Cellier (Candlelight Processional Dinner Package)
The Wave
Kona Cafe

I need to ring Big River Grille and Brewing Works direct at some stage. I wanted to make an ADR Narcoossee's for our last night, but the only slot they have open is 8:55, which is a bit late. I will keep trying as persistence has paid off before. If I don't get lucky we may try Citricos or go back to Jiko or Artist Point.

I have timed our meal at the Wave so that we can go up to the Top of the World Lounge to see Wishes afterwards. It is great that all DVC members staying onsite can get access until the end of the year.

Those look like some great ADRs!

I need to figure out mine for the Jan-Feb trip. I'm debating between the MK resort signature restaurants for when we switch from AKV to BLT. I was told "no" to V&A's but to pick the best menu between Narcoosees and Artist Point. I still have not been to either of those, but maybe might consider Citricos as well. We ate there in 2007 and liked it, but I'd kind of like to try something new, what do you folks think? :confused3

I'm jealous of your LeC CLP package! There was a perfect time open when I was booking ours, but my guys didn't want to eat there. We've always done two meals there every trip (1 dinner, 1 lunch), but last trip they decided they don't like it anymore. We cancelled our second meal there to make a second trip to Teppan Edo. So, that's where we booked our CLP meal.

I love Teppan Edo, but there are so many places I want to get back to in Epcot, plus I really want to try Via Napoli! We did lunch at Le Cellier back in 2009 and loved the cheese soup and the Mac n Cheese, but otherwise weren't that impressed. Since becoming a signature for dinner and adding a Rib Eye to the menu (our favorite cut), I'm considering giving it a second thought. I would love to do Teppan Edo, but we have so many Teppan places to choose from here, I just don't know. Can you tell I'm in a big dilemma?

So I left my hotel room at 7:00 this morning heading to the conference and it is 7:45 and I just got back to my room. I was thinking about going to DTD but I will workout instead...

So no Disney magic today..

Sorry....but that is one heck of a long day! I don't even think I would have the strength left to workout! I left my house to go to the Chiropractor at 9AM (and actually a visit to him IS working out....no adjustments today muscle strength training) and I dropped our cleaning lady off at 7PM (after a day of moving boxes and other manual labor). I'm not sure if I can deal with dinner. Thank goodness I have enchiladas leftover from last night as well as some KFC sides to go along with them! :faint:

How long until January 28th? I need to make a ticker.... :scratchin

I think my kids love it so much because we never take them to the ones at home. They are WAY to expensive to feed!!! For some reason I let them order a filet once, and now that they know the difference that's what they always want to order!!! We usually only go once or twice a year, so when I let them pick a place that is always their first choice. :)

I guess since it's just the two of us, and if I start to whine, she gives in. Since she told me i cam have two days of indulgence I'm saving the nights out and i think i will take one night at Teppan and the other at our favorite fish place.

I just ordered our hoppers for the trip next month! :yay: One more thing crossed off the list. :goodvibes

Sweet!

We ordered ours from UTC, for December, a couple weeks back.

Only thing left to pay for is the IOA tickets (well, and the food/incidentals on the trip, itself).

Yes you need a ticker...

I am back here at 7:30 this morning...

I did half a workout, so 30 minutes of Shaun T kicking my butt, was enough..

I use Under-Cover-Tourist (use of hyphens are my own since I am not certain the DIS allows their name to be uttered...) We have found them to be the cheapest and kindest group to buy from!
