I use Under-Cover-Tourist (use of hyphens are my own since I am not certain the DIS allows their name to be uttered...) We have found them to be the cheapest and kindest group to buy from!

I fat fingered my abbreviation (whould have been UCT, not UTC). We use them too!

I see them talked about all over the boards, so I think they're fair game.

Could you please post a countdown thingie to countdown to when you will tell us what your countdown thingie will be for???? :confused3

Dang, I just confused myself! :upsidedow
:lmao:

I second the request...and the confusion. :)

::yes::

We bought our Universal tickets from them back in 2011...supposedly they are still good for Jan 2013... :rolleyes1

Hi Everybody. I got back last night and am now back to reality. It was so nice being at the Lodge but it was a totally different trip with the DB and SIL along. It was good to have the quality time though.

Kathy, prayers coming your way that surgery goes well

Happy belated Birthday Kim!

Welcome home, Pam... we missed you!

You know...I think the amount of torture kimmar is doling out, by not giving us deets on the countdown thingie, might violate some tenet(s) of the Geneva convention.

Granted, we're not enemy combatants or victims of war....but still.

I need to figure out mine for the Jan-Feb trip. I'm debating between the MK resort signature restaurants for when we switch from AKV to BLT. I was told "no" to V&A's but to pick the best menu between Narcoosees and Artist Point. I still have not been to either of those, but maybe might consider Citricos as well. We ate there in 2007 and liked it, but I'd kind of like to try something new, what do you folks think? :confused3

We went to both Narcoosee's and Artist Point when we stayed at BLT in 2010. Artist Point was nice, but Narcoosees blew me away. I am still hope that I can snag a reservation there for our last night.

You beat me!!! :yay: :dance3: :yay:

Yes, but you are a lot closer to 30000 than I am :worship:

I wouldn't encourage her if I were you. I think she likes the attention to much

DEET, as in insect repellant????

So, rather than reading all eight (8!!!) AKL threads, can someone please tell me which of the Kidani 1br rooms is best to request? TIA

If it helps, family of three, including DD6. Split stay between AKL - Kidani and VWL in January '13.

:welcome: Do you have a "savannah view" or "standard view" booked? If savannah view, I'd request 2nd floor (which is the lobby level). Being on a lower floor, you will feel closer to the animals! :goodvibes

There are 2 savannahs at Kidani, Sunset & Pembe. I have stayed on Sunset, but not on Pembe yet, which I believe is a smaller savannah.

Work is work.... I am making new friends and connecting with some old acquaintances, I have demoed so many times I loss count, and have talked till I am almost losing my voice, so I am doing what I get paid for...

I wished I was at home or at AKL with DH, but instead I am here at the beautiful Homewood!

Anyway, last night I had dinner with some friends at an Italian place in Winter Park and it was really nice...
