It's happened again..someone has one of next week's pins

ebay # 102152837 here we go again..Happy the dwarf # 39 which isn't supposed to be released till NEXT Sat..and this seller has 2 of them up for auction!!..is there a way to stop this from happening?..it's no wonder that by the time Sat rolls around..stores are short on pins for the customers standing in line!

Assuming there are no shenanegans going on it is POSSIBLE that someone grabbed the wrong box of pins to put out for this week and a few were sold before anyone caught on. I know my store already has the next 2 weeks pins in.

Well, it's a different part of the country from last week's incident.

Seller claims that some of these pins were mixed in with the Dopey pins at his store.

But if the pins are behind the counter in boxes, how would these get mixed in?

I would not assume the person already has the pins. I would assume they are pre-selling a pin they are very confident that they will be able to obtain next Saturday.

I could see where the dwarf pins could easily get mixed up. (Grabbing the wrong box, or whatever). But my thouyght on some of these also has been that they are confident they will get them to sell.
If I lived in Des Moines, I would be very confident. That store seems to have plenty.

Little too early for me to be searching ebay..lol..I don't understand..you are right..these pins are supposed to be kept behind the counter..so how could Happy end up mixed with Dopey?..unless someone was rummaging thru boxes ahead of time and put them down in the wrong box?..at our store..when they open the boxes as they put them at the counter,,they check to see how many are in the box and make sure they are all the same..You know that after all the problems that have been encountered, you would think that the cm's would be a little more careful when checking boxes and putting them out for sale???
There are too many indescretions being made in how and when this set of pins is being sold in the stores..it really makes one stop and think if they really want to go to all the time and trouble to collect the whole set..every Sat it takes me a total of 3 1/2 hours between driving to the nearest store and waiting in line..so far I have been lucky and have been either second or no more than fourth in line, but I doubt if my luck is going to hold for another 10 weeks of this!!!

nope..I emailed the seller..the reply was that the pins were "in hand" ready for shipment..that takes that supposition out of play in this case!

All this makes me think of that old saying-- something along the lines of "Watch out what you wish for. Because you may get it."
We all should have wished more specifically: WE WISH TDS would SELL pins -- and enough for everyone at any time!

I don't know who will be happier when this is all over -- the guests or the CM's!
