I'm a prep.
I'll admit it.
Almost everyone who went to the school I went to for 9 years was one.
The school, was newer, more expensive. We had a lot of things that other schools didn't, and I guess we were spoiled.
A lot of the students were spoiled by their parents.
There weren't many goths, emo's, or wannbee gangsters or just not very well off people (This is just how it was). And a lot of the ones who were different, were in the english classes. And I just wonder how that happened. Why the people who are different or what have you, are the ones who chose not to learn french.
Anyways, we were brought up as goodie goodies. Drugs? Bad. Bad. Bad (which they are). Alcohol? No. I mean, if you compare the people who got drunk from the grades 6-8 at my school to another, the other school would be like 3x more likely to have gotten drunk. We were brought up not to be mean. Not to break rules. To do our homework.
My friend, who used to go to another school, hated my school. She hated all the goodie goodie preps, and just hated it. And this is how we're viewed by people who don't go to our school. Once I was with her and her boyfriend and she was like 'Behave, this is my GOOD friend. She's not a bad girl.'
When I get to HS, I'll probably pretend I moved from across town or something, because the minute they know my school, they judge.
