"It's Coming and it's BLUE" - A July 2010 TR - COMPLETED!!

That's awesome that you at least got a marina view!! but waiting over 4 hours!! You all have so much patience (I think it's wonderful that the CM's were so gracious to everyone!)

4 hours?! Luckily, we were back at the Contemporary during the downpour. It really did rain lots!

I love Silly Bandz. I really want the princess ones (not the Disney brand), they are so cute! They come with a castle and a tiara.

4 hours? Wow, what a crazy wait! At least you were safe and dry when the rain came down. People watching is always fun, especially when you have a free cookie in your hand. :) That was nice of the CMs to do!

Next time you're there, take the boat from the MK to the Poly (and Grand Floridian). It's especially gorgeous at night. :thumbsup2

Maybe I'm just lucky, but I haven't noticed the drastic decline in service that everyone seems to complain about these days. Maybe it's because I don't waste my time looking for every little thing to nitpick over. I only have so many days at Disney and I am darn well going to enjoy them...Not sit there thinking about how that CM should have smiled at me as we walked past.

We thought about going to the pool, but then the rain started. After a while, it just became sort of a "Well, we've been sitting here for this long. A little more sitting isn't going to hurt."

HAHAHAHA Dad's Silly Band is a Buzz Lightyear that we made him wear. He actually wore it all week, too, which I didn't think he would do.

Ok, I'm brain dead because I just don't remember that Poly view and we DID take the boat from the MK to the GF one day on our April trip, I believe day... 5? So yeah, you'll read about that when I get to it in... January or so.

I really haven't noticed the decline in service either but people swear by it. Sure, occasionally you get a rude CM but I chalk that up to someone having a bad day.

Eh, what's a 4 hour wait when you're at Disney? And yeah, the CMs were WONDERFUL. Now that I'm "re-living" my trip through my TR, I feel like I should write a big thank you letter to the staff at the Polynesian.

Yeah, that rain was crazy. I mean, I guess it was the edge of Tropical Storm/Depression/Weather-System-of-some-sort Bonnie, so it makes sense. At least it didn't last longer than that one day.

One of my friends has a castle Silly Band! She wears it all the time. :rotfl:

Free cookies help you get through anything. :thumbsup2

HAHA I can't wait. :upsidedow

And yeah, there's the occasional rude CM, but I never let it bother me. Everyone has grumpy days.

OMG, I was sooooooo behind. But I'm here now and all caught up! LOVING EVERYTHING, BTW! :goodvibes

Well, except for the wisdom teeth thing before you left...and the claustrophobic death trap of the TTA in the dark...and the 4 hour wait to get checked in at the Poly...but other than that... ;)

Otherwise, you were having one awesome trip so far, girlfriend! You did soooooo much that morning at MK!!! WOW! And brunch at Pecos Bill? SCORE. I miss the chicken wrap soooooo much. Sigh. Also, I LOVE thrill rides, but the big hill on Splash scares the holy crap out of me. That climb? I do exactly what you described. And you rode the big hill WITHOUT WATER??? I must hear this story. I would have freaked the eff out!!! :scared1:

We got stuck on the TTA in the same spot once, and at first, we're sitting there in the dark, getting kind of goofy and stuff, but then the lights came on and--NO JOKE--there's SMOKE in the tunnel. It's not heavy, it could have even been made by a fog machine. But I'm going "WHY IN THE WORLD WOULD THERE BE A FOG MACHINE ON THE TTA? THIS MUST BE SMOKE, THE RIDE IS ON FIRE!!!! AHHHHHHHH!"

About ten seconds after I started going into cardiac arrest, the ride started again, the lights went off, and we finished our journey around the TTA with no explanation about the smoke. But we were pretty weirded out.

It says something about me that I think Silly Bandz are over-rated but that DISNEY Silly Bandz are an OMGMUSTHAVE item for me now, doesn't it? :lmao:

I love that you made the best out of a bad situation with the Poly wait. Look at it this way, you didn't have to navigate any of the parks in that downpour. You just got to relax, enjoy the Poly, and eat free cookies! What's not to love?!?

Can't wait for the next update, girl! :goodvibes

Wow I can't believe you waited 4 hours for your room!!! :rotfl: Although if you had to wait anywhere, I guess the Poly would be the best place to do it, it looks so beautiful, I have to stay there someday! :lovestruc I'm glad you finally got your marina view room! :)

HEY, GIRL!!! Glad you're all caught up.

Oh, I did freak out about the lack of water on Splash and you will definitely hear that story later in the report. It's a good one. :rotfl:

OMG. SMOKE ON THE TTA??? That ride really is a death trap. I never realized just how terrifying that ride can be!!

Yeah, I definitely can't complain about the wait when I was waiting in one of the most fabulous places in the whole world.

JULY 23RD PART 6: WRAPPING UP DAY ONE

Alright, here it is. The BIG moment. After waiting almost 4 hours, we were FINALLY on our way to our room!!

I’m apologizing in advance for these room pictures. They are not pretty. But we all know what a Polynesian room looks like, right? If not, march your butt over to the Resorts Board and then come back and finish reading this. The rest of us will wait here for you. And talk about you behind your back while you're gone.

…

Okay, are you back? And now we ALL know what a Polynesian room looks like?

Good, let’s move on.

As soon as I stepped into our new home for the week, I made a beeline for the patio. Well, I actually stopped at the sliding glass doors. It was raining again, and the patio was getting really wet. But here’s the view…
DSCN3088.jpg

AHHHHHH. Even with the rain, it’s wonderful!

I know that this goes against my desire to keep everything chronological, but I couldn’t just post that one gloomy picture. So, here are some pictures from the patio that I took later in the week when the weather was MUCH nicer.

You couldn’t actually see Space Mountain from inside the room, but if you stood out on the patio and turned towards the MK, you had a perfect view. It was lovely. It was also a lot of fun to watch boats coming and going out of the marina. It was especially funny watching people attempt to dock their Sea Raycers. It proved to be quite the challenge for many. Although, I shouldn’t laugh because I’m sure I would be terrible at it too.

Here’s a picture of the beds (kind of). Like I said, I wasn’t really too concerned with taking room pictures.
DSCN3090.jpg

This was on our bed when we arrived. It was the first of many towel animals we received throughout the trip. Our Mousekeeper was AWESOME. I know that I wrote her name down somewhere in my trip report notes, but I can’t find it right now. When I do, I will be sure to post it because she deserves a shout-out.
DSCN3087.jpg

Here’s the desk/tv/drawers already cluttered with our stuff. We just came into the room and threw everything down, not really caring what it looked like.
DSCN3089.jpg

Here’s a random picture of the sink in the bathroom. I love the little tiki guys on the lamps. Every morning as I was brushing my teeth, I would look at those guys and get the warm, fuzzy “I’m at Disney” feeling. It was wonderful. And it definitely made waking up at the crack of dawn to get to Rope Drop more enjoyable.
DSCN3091.jpg

After hastily snapping these shots, I flopped down onto the bed and FINALLY took that nap that I had been dying for. I think my family might have gone to the pool while I was sleeping….I can’t really remember. But my sister had been aching to go to the pool, so I’m pretty sure that’s what they did.

They woke me up around 6:30 and we headed over to Captain Cook’s for dinner. I love that the GCH is such a quick walk from Fiji. It made filling up our refillable mugs super easy. I’m not saying that the walk to the GCH is a horrible burden from any of the other buildings- the Polynesian isn’t nearly as spread out as some people like to think. Unless you’re in Tahiti. Dad and I started joking that the people at the very edge of Tahiti aren’t staying at the Polynesian, they’re staying at the Transportation and Ticket Center. It’s a bit of a hike from the very end of Tahiti to the GCH. But hey, you’re at Disney…what’s a bit more walking, right?

Anyway, what was I talking about? Oh, right. Dinner.

I love Captain Cook’s. As I’m writing this, Hall and Oates’ “You Make My Dreams Come True” just popped up on shuffle on my itunes. (Yes, I am 20 and I have Hall and Oates on my itunes. I’m cool like that.) It’s fitting because Captain Cook’s does make my dining dreams come true. Everything is so good that it’s hard to decide what to order.

On this particular day, I opted for the Grilled Cheese with a side of chips.
DSCN3094.jpg

Sooooooooooooo good. OMG. And if you’ve never tried Captain Cook’s homemade chips, (1)What is your life? And (2) GO EAT THEM RIGHT NOW. You are missing out. Those wonton-y ones are pretty much the greatest chips in existence. I can’t describe how they taste with words other than OMG SO FREAKING GOOD.

I also bought one of these bad boys for later. You’ve always gotta keep one handy while at Disney. You never know when you might get the Mickey Rice Crispy Treat craving. It comes on fast, and before you know it, you’ve already devoured the entire thing.
DSCN3093.jpg

After dinner, we stopped by the room really quick to drop off the leftover chips because, well, you can’t just throw that kind of deliciousness away. It was then that I did something I never thought I’d ever do…I debated not going back to the Magic Kingdom with my family to just stay in for the night.

Yeah, I know. Crazy, right? I was in a weird mood that evening. I was tired and having to deal with the crazy fireworks crowd wasn’t appealing to me at all.

But somehow I wound up taking the boat back to the MK with everyone else. Evidently I am easily persuaded. The boat ride was uneventful…up until we started to dock.

Y’know how when docking, the boats kind of swing back and forth a few times before finally settling against the dock? Well, right as the boat began its final swing towards the dock, a little girl who was probably about three years old dropped her stuffed giraffe into the water. The boat captain just happened to be standing right near her, and as the boat was closing in on the dock, he quickly reached down and grabbed the giraffe out of the water, removing his arm *right* as the boat made contact with the dock. As he handed the partially wet giraffe to the little girl’s mother, the entire boat broke out into applause.

It all happened really quickly, and I thought he was nuts for sticking his arm down there. I was bracing myself for blood, guts, and gore as the boat smashed the poor guy’s arm against the dock. I wanted to shout out “ARE YOU FREAKING CRAZY? A STUFFED GIRAFFE IS NOT AN EQUAL TRADEOFF FOR LOSING A LIMB!!!” But apparently this guy had some Indiana Jones instincts in him, and thankfully, he escaped unscathed. So four for you, Boat Captain! You go, Boat Captain!

I do wonder what ended up happening with the giraffe. I mean, I hope that little girl’s mother gave it a good washing before letting the girl have it. Aren’t there, like, toxins and stuff in the lagoon water? Yuck. I mean, it was nice of the boat captain to save it, but I think I’d rather just buy my kid a new giraffe.

After witnessing the save of the day, we headed into the park and at my parents’ request, went straight over to Adventureland to ride Pirates of the Caribbean.
148.jpg

I love the tribal drum music that plays as you cross the bridge into Adventureland. It always makes me want to stop right in the middle of the path and dance. In fact, I’m pretty sure I’ve actually done that before. Honestly, if you’ve ever seen a strange girl dancing around at Disney, it was probably me. Or my long-lost evil twin.

So we headed over to Pirates. This picture of the sign is blurry, but it’s the only picture of the ride I took so I’m gonna post it anyway.
150.jpg

The posted wait time was 5 minutes, but we waited longer than that. And apparently we arrived during Poorly Behaved Little Kid Hour, because we were surrounded by them in line. Kids were screaming and running all over the place. There was a family with two little kids in front of us who were well-behaved – thank god – but every other kid in the building was going nuts. I feel like they ALL must have stopped for a Dole Whip or something right before getting in line, and were now ridiculously hyper from all of the sugar. I love kids, and I’m not usually one to complain about them, but in this instance it was just too much. And unfortunately, the poor behavior of these kids wouldn’t even be the worst behavior we experienced that night.

The actual ride went as expected. I’m not really a huge fan of the ride (or the movies, for that matter). I like pirates, and I like the song, but the boats just seem to float sooooooooo slowly. Like, crank up the speed on these suckers, people! A ride about pirates should have a little more thrill to it. But I know it’s a classic, and I know that people would be really disappointed if they changed it, so don’t change it and I’ll just suck it up and ride it once a year to make my parents happy.

I do like the part where the cannons fire at you, though. It reminds me of my favorite part of an eye doctor appointment…the Glaucoma test. Getting air shot at me always makes me laugh hysterically. It’s such a weird feeling.

After pillaging and plundering and rifling and looting, we decided to split up for a bit. Dad and I headed to find a spot to watch the new Summer Nightastic fireworks while Mom and Katie headed to Tomorrowland to ride Space Mountain with the fastpasses we had gotten earlier.

Dad and I found a spot right near the hub along the railing on the path towards Adventureland. Here’s our view of the castle from where we were standing.
DSCN3100.jpg

It was only 8:15 when we got to our spot, so we had a while to wait. I think this was when Dad and I had a conversation about how we hadn’t seen anyone else wearing my “Forever Young” t-shirt. We had both expected there to be TONS of people wearing them, but nope. Mine was the only one we saw all day. It was also during this time when I spotted a girl standing near us who was wearing the Burlap TOMS Shoes that I REALLY want. I’m kind of obsessed with TOMS. If you’ve never heard of them, I strongly suggest you check them out. Basically, the whole idea behind the company is that for every pair of shoes you buy, they donate a pair to a child in need, which is a GENIUS concept and I’ve become really passionate about their whole organization. And the shoes are super comfortable. You’ll be seeing pictures of me wearing them later in the trip. Anyway, I thought about going over to the girl and asking her how she likes them, but I realized that I would seem like the biggest creeper ever. So I didn’t. I just admired her TOMS from afar.

Around 8:45, Mom and Katie joined us to wait some more. It was a bit of a dull wait, but I enjoyed just listening to the Main Street Area Music Loop and watching the Castle change colors. It’s so magical at night.
DSCN3101.jpg

The Main Street Electrical Parade was scheduled to begin at 9:00, but because we were in the hub, we had to wait a bit longer. A lot of you already know this from my pre-trip report, but I was NOT AT ALL excited about the return of the MSEP. I am the biggest SpectroMagic fangirl. My love for SpectroMagic could give the “Twi-hards” a run for their money. SpectroMagic is just…I don’t really know how to describe how attached I am to that parade. I mean, it’s Disney to me. Whenever I think of Disney, the “On this magic niiiiiiiight” lyric pops into my head, and I am reminded of the SpectroMen, and Chip and Dale playing the piano. And Ursula and the dancing ostriches and the Three Little Pigs. I could go on and on.

So on this particular evening, I was having a severe case of SpectroMagic separation anxiety. When they made the announcement that the MSEP would be starting in just a few minutes, I about lost it. I wanted to run out into the middle of the parade route, throw a tantrum, and demand that they pull out the SpectroMagic floats because the MSEP is just not acceptable. Granted, from where we were standing we wouldn’t even really be able to see the parade, but I WANTED SPECTRO!!!

Unfortunately, my cries for change went unnoticed, and I was about to enter my very own electro-synthe-magnetic musical nightmare.

Disney, why must you start playing that AWFUL song what feels like hours before the parade actually arrives? I was sick of the “do do dodo do do dodododododo” after a minute of listening to it and I still had the ENTIRE PARADE ahead of me. I know there are MSEP die-hards who will kill me for saying this, but I cannot stand that song. Nobody needs to listen to anything that makes “do do dodo” sounds on repeat for 20 minutes.

Here’s the one picture I took during the parade. You can see the top of one of the Alice in Wonderland floats over all of these people’s heads.
DSCN3104.jpg

I mainly only took that picture because Katie has a terrible fear of butterflies, and I thought she should always remember that giant one. Oh, sisterly love…

Anyway, once that nightmare was finally over, we still had some more time before the fireworks started. I think I spent that time ranting to my family about how much I hate the MSEP music. I also watched a stroller traffic jam develop. Disney has got to figure out a better way to manage crowd flow during the parade and fireworks. I mean, when we found our spot, we deliberately stood along the railing so that people could still get through. But the second the parade starts, all hell breaks loose and people start stopping in the middle of the paths causing major gridlock. And then crazy parents find it acceptable to use their strollers as battering rams. So yeah, that’s pretty much what I watched for 20 minutes - People pushing and shoving and trying to jam themselves into spaces that weren’t meant for people to fit through.

Oh, and this was fun. About 10 minutes before the fireworks started, a large family came and squeezed in to stand right in front of us. I didn’t mind them standing in front of us (fireworks are in the sky), but they were pretty much on top of us. I was pinned against the railing, standing on top of the cement curb thing at the base of the railing. There was a young couple that had been standing next to us the whole time, and the guy got shoved back so far that he had to climb over the railing to keep from completely losing his balance.

So I was upset (rightly, in my opinion) and started venting to Dad about how I am so sick of people showing up at the last minute and standing on top of us when we’ve been waiting for an hour and a half. Because we were all packed so close together, a teenage girl from the obnoxious family heard me and leaned over to her mother to tell her what I said. And the mom’s response to her daughter -“This is Disney. This is what you do here.” Yeah, this is DISNEY WORLD. It is not Squeeze-in-as-tightly-as-possible-and-suffocate-everyone-around-you World. God. I wanted to say something snarky so that the teenage girl would overhear and relay it to her mother, but they made the announcement that the fireworks would be starting shortly, so I decided just to relax and let it go.

My overall impression of the Summer Nighttastic fireworks was: VERY COOL. Being (partially) surrounded by fireworks was such a unique experience. And OMG. There’s a Pirates-themed section of the show where the Pirates attack the Castle and they actually shoot fireworks off of the Castle. It was so cool. I mean, it was a little heart-stopping at first to see the Castle have fire coming off of it, but it was amazing. I took video of the entire Pirate segment, but for whatever reason, I can’t get that video off of my camera. All my other videos worked fine, but that one is being stubborn.

Here are a few pictures I took during the show. They aren’t the greatest, but whatevs. I have better pictures from later in the week.

DSCN3110.jpg

After the fireworks ended, Mom and Katie headed off to ride some more rides (the park was open until 3:00 AM…they didn’t stay that long though) and Dad and I headed back to the Polynesian. Of course, that was easier said than done when dealing with the Disney hordes. We slowly crept our way down Main Street, getting bumped into and run over and accidentally touched in awkward places the entire time. Don’t you just love that? I mean, it wouldn’t be a trip to Disney without a few random strangers touching my butt.

We let the hordes funnel us out of the park and joined the massive line for the boat back to the Polynesian. One of the boats arrived and filled up, but we were, like, 4 people away from making it on. While we were waiting for another boat, the Electrical Water Pageant pulled up to the Magic Kingdom. So, that happened. Normally I would have been really excited to see it, but on this day I was just not feeling it. All I wanted was to get on a boat, lie in bed, watch Stacy, and eat the leftover OMG SO FREAKING GOOD chips.

So the Water Pageant finishes, and at this point, a boat still hadn’t shown up to take us home. There were people dressed up all PERSON-IN-CHARGE-like and they were on walkie-talkies radioing something to someone. And then after waiting a little longer, a boat FINALLY came. Only it wasn’t the usual boats you see on the Seven Seas Lagoon or Bay Lake. I think it might have been one of the boats they use for the Wishes Cruises because it had a pirate flag hanging in the front. Don’t Captain Hook and Peter Pan come on those things? I don’t know. Anyway, it was a strange boat that I had never seen before, but it was floating and ready to take us back to the Polynesian, so that’s really all I cared about.

Once we got back to the Polynesian, all of the torches were lit. It was so pretty. I love making the walk back to the room at night at Disney. The combination of being tired and being at Disney always leaves me deliriously happy and feeling all warm and fuzzy on the inside.

When we got back to the room, I put on my pajamas and did what I said I was going to do – watched Stacy and ate chips. Mom and Katie didn’t stay too much longer at the Magic Kingdom and arrived back at the room not too long after we did. I’m pretty sure they saw Mickey’s Phillharmagic, and then decided to call it a night.

After a LONG day full of excitement, I was ready for bed. I fell asleep dreaming of the cheddar cheese soup that would be waiting for me the next day at my favorite park – EPCOT!!

PS: I'm sorry for the lack of pictures in this update. I wasn't my usual obsessive picture taking self that night. I'm also sorry for the lack of updates lately. I've been busy and haven't had the chance to sit down and write much. The next few weeks are also going to be quite busy because we move my sister in at college on Thursday, and then I'm moving down to my HOUSE (sorry I'm just really excited that my friends and I are renting our own house off-campus...I feel so grown-up) a week after that. So the updates will probably be pretty irregular, but I hope you all stay tuned because there are plenty more adventures ahead.

PPS: THANKS FOR READING!! :flower3:

Commenting live from the polynesian!! I love everything about this place. I gotta go check out the TOMS shoes now *googles*

The view from your room was lovely! How lucky you were! :goodvibes

I totally understand the frustration at the late-comers crowding in and cutting ahead! That always seems to happen to us too!

Nice update (it makes me so excited to be there tomorrow even if we have to deal with super hyper kids and rude people )

Great view!!!!

Love the tiki torches in the bathroom! Very cute!

Mmm i love grilled cheese!

My mom is a Mickey rice krispie treat addict! She has to have at least one a vacation!

How could you not go to MK?! I am glad you decided to

How nice of the boat captain to grab that giraffe! I am sure they are used to things falling at that point of docking

I am a fan of POTC I love all of the old rides

Great update! I can't wait to see fireworks at MK!

I love your writing style. Thanks for the update.

The Grilled Cheese looks delicious, and I am hankering for some chips now. I also like Hall and Oates, despite being born in the 80s.

I'm glad the boat captain had good reflexes, but what was that idiot thinking?

I love your Poly pics! I have to stay there someday! Not only is it beautiful, but you can get grilled cheese and those chips? And dole whips? Yep, I have to stay there! :rotfl:

I'm sorry about the crowd problem at the fireworks. The same thing happened to me in May when we were watching Wishes, I kept saying such snotty things and I know everyone heard me, but I was so annoyed I didn't care, Wishes was pretty much ruined for me with all the strollers passing through! :confused3 :rotfl:

The Summer Nightastic fireworks sounded like they were great! The part with the pirates attacking the castle sounds so cool!

Can't wait to hear about Epcot!

Ahh, I was behind but now I'm all caught up. Love the pictures of the Polynesian. I miss it there so much.

I hate to admit it but I actually enjoyed the MSEP music. :rolleyes1 I think my sisters and I all agreed that the Spectromagic music is better but MSEP is such a classic that it was hard not to enjoy.

The fireworks were really cool too. It was actually the same show they did (or atleast very similar) at the old Pirate and Princess Parties. The pirate parts are pretty sweet. Gotta love the music from Pirates of the Caribbean.

Just found your TR and love your writing style. You picked the right profession to go into. I have never stayed at the Poly( DH is too cheap. He would rather stay offsite but at least we are offsite at DISNEY.) but we visit it every trip. Great view from your room. I agree about MSEP. I was so excited to see it again since I remember seeing it as a child. However, after about 5 minutes, I wanted to scream. We are not parade people due to the reasons you mentioned. I can't stand waiting for an hour only to have someone come up at the last minute and push me out of my spot. Looking forward to reading more.

I love the Poly pics from the room! You guys had a nice view!

I LOVE Capt. Cook's too! :cloud9: I love it getting sushi there.

 All I sing is "On this magic nnnnnight" too! I have to admit, it was really weird not seeing/hearing Spectro the whole trip!

I thought I was going to miss Wishes so much that I wasn't going to like the new fireworks, but it was AWESOME!

Hey! I am really enjoying your report. :)

We found Disney silly bands at Walgreens. They are different shapes than the ones in the park. In this pack it is just Mickey's head (not his whole body). Actually it is everyone's heads-Daisy, Donald, Minnie, Mickey, Goofy and Pluto. :)

Oh my God, your VIEW!!!!! Wowwwwweeee!! If I stayed at the Poly I would have to get a room like this one. The first floor ones where you can just walk right out to the beach are a little piece of Heaven. So cool the boats were outside of your room like that. And LOL at watching people dock the Sea Raycers. Sure, the Magic Kingdom may be in walking distance, but watching people look like idiots is always fun.

Totally disagree about the MSEP! You don't remember it from older Disney trips? The way you feel about Spectro, I feel about MSEP. That's the parade that screams DISNEY to me, the one I remember as a child. Spectro to me is still like the NEW parade. I mean I obviously adore it, but I love MSEP too. I don't think I like one better than the other. I do like the Spectro music more. It's prettier. But the MSEP music is just so Disney. And the weird clowns in Spectro are just unnecessary, I mean who even thought of that.

And lol omg do not get me started on the whole TOMS thing. Hanson are obsessed with TOMS, they even made their own Hanson TOMS... can we not even get into it. When I saw Hanson at WDW Taylor told me TOMS are great for walking around in the parks LOL. That was before I had been converted into Crocland so I just agreed with him.

Omg, that pirate part of the fireworks is from the Pirate & Princess Party, which I heard from pretty much everyone was the best fireworks show Disney's ever put on. I'm so glad they're utilizing that for the summer!!

I feel so bad that it sounds like you had not such a great first day at WDW but I'm sure you felt better throughout your trip, I mean how could you not with the cheddar cheese soup situation happening in the next update!!!

Oh goodness, so much to comment on....

LOVE the view. We actually stayed on the other side of Fuji for my 21st b-day trip. We were on the third floor and had a perfect view of the beach and the Wedding Pavilion. :lovestruc

That picture of the grilled cheese and chips seriously made me want to cry. The Poly's chips are ah-MA-zing. Sigh. :cloud9: I can understand why you would want to go back early just to lay on your bed and eat those puppies.

I love the Spectromagic music, but I prefer the MSEP parade itself. I will miss "On this magic night..." though. I agree, it just screams "DISNEY!!!" to me.

We got to see the special fireworks when we were there in June, and I LOVED the Pirates section. It was AWESOME! We were cheering the whole time. Anything that uses the "Pirates of the Caribbean" movie score is awesome, but then you add in Captain Hook and explosions off the Castle? It becomes ridonkulously awesome! :worship:

I can't wait for the next update. Epcot and Le Cellier? Heck yeah! :woohoo:
