No, I have another week before I actually start. The store is still being finished (it's brand new), so they're holding orientation in the hotel they did interviews at next Friday. I think we'll be in the store the following day, but I'm not sure. It actually opens to the public on October 8

Skiiingfast...how iminent is snow? You know that shushh is travelling to your neck of the woods and whilst I know she and her family quite like snow....I don't know if they want to drive in it!

Shhhh. You never know, but it's cold and a cold front can make snow now, a warm front can melt it.

Since it's a dry time of year storms aren't often but do happen. Usually the first snow that stays all winter is in mid october to late November.

How close is the store that being built? Same distance? You never know they may end up giving you more hours. That is a good thing for new ones. It is creating jobs. I dont mind resets, the thing that drove me nuts was placing hooks and racks. I have seen jobs for resets, one in Arizona paid a 100 dollars a day for the cooler. I wouldnt mind an auditing job. I like audits.

The hotel they were holding interviews and now orientation at is across the street from the store. The guy told me that I'm part time, and only going to get a maximum of eighteen hours. I can apply for an internal transfer in six months, so if there's anything full time available then and I'm still there, I'm definitely going to look into that.

Well its a start. Maybe once if they kep you on the same schedule you could find something close to home for a few hours a week. Have you thought about someone near you that may need assistance for a few hours a week. You like some light dusting, laundry or what ever they may need? If you could find something flexible like that for a few hours that would bring you a little more money.

Do they have piles of kitchen trash in thier apartment? That happened in a place across from me in college.

No these gals were pretty clean. The funny thing is they didn't see them in the kitchen. They found them in the bathroom and the bedroom.
