It's a Stroller Sir, not a Battering Ram!!! NEW PTR LINK POSTED

I love reading your trip reports and, it looks like you had a great time! I'm a lurker who needs to get better about posting... I can't wait to read more!

I am so happy you came out of lurkdom and posted....I know you have posted on past reports so I am happy to see you again!:goodvibes

Great update, Queen., It looks like a fun DIS meet and as if you had known each other forever (cute couple).

So true Kathy! They were such fun to spend part of our day with!

I realized as I was uploading the pictures for the next post that I didn't have very many! So I thought I would get them up, finish off this day so we can move along to the next!

We decided on our way out of DHS that we would just grab a bite of lunch at Pop! Neither of us were very hungry so we decided on the way that we would probably just split something which was exactly what we ended up doing.
263.jpg

We decided on the tuna sandwich and oh lordy was it yummy and way more than either of us could eat alone! Shanleigh doesn't like potato chips so she just had her half of sandwich and I had mine plus the chips....love me some chips!

After our delicious lunch we headed to the room to change and head to the pool...again, sorry, no pics!

264.jpg

After showers and a change of clothes we headed to Epcot! Couldn't resist a PP opportunity and I loved that they are more than happy to take pictures with our camera too!

266.jpg

We leisurely walked around WS or at least that's what I think we must have done because again, no pics:headache: Our destination for dinner this evening was Via Napoli....we loved this restaurant everytime we've been and we couldn't wait! Last year half our group tried the pizza and loved it so that's what I was going to have. Sorry that I had started eating before Shanleigh reminded me to take a picture!

It was everything they said it would be but I only ate half!!
267.jpg

Shanleigh decided on the spaghetti and meatballs and she loved her choice too! It took her awhile to get over the whole veal meatball thing but she soon realized she loved them and now has no problem ordering that dish;)

We had a very obnoxious table seated next to us, so bad in fact, that it was hard for us to have a conversation. The grandpa thought he was something else and ordered the staff around like they were servants....no respect at all for them. I have to tell you that it made me crazy but I kept my mouth shut and just ate my pizza.

Our server was a lovely young lady named Maria and she couldn't have been better. We also had a couple of young men who filled our water glasses. At one point 3 of them came at the same time....all trying to start a conversation with Shanleigh, it was quite humourous....all I wanted was a refill on my coke....did I get it, nope:lmao:

After we said our goodbyes to the lovely staff we headed out and at this point I remembered to take out my camera.
268.jpg

Via Napoli....this is an absolute must for us and that pizza was to.die.for!
269.jpg

We wandered around WS and Shanleigh had decided she wanted another tattoo from Morocco so we stopped. Unfortunately, the lady that was there on this particular evening wasn't nearly as good as the one that did her tattoo last year but whatever, it was still cute!

I was too full for a GGS so we just continued to walk and decided to take the boat to DHS and then catch the bus to Pop. It was such a beautiful evening we didn't want it to end!

See, too bad you guys aren't all going to be there together this year....you guys and the kids could do these missions and pooksma and Peg could, I don't know, maybe a cocktail or two in the World!

Hmmm....sounds like a GREAT plan to me :rotfl2: Pick us up on your way back by the GG stand, or the margharita stand,or....

Too full for a GGS :sad2:! LOL!

That pizza does look really yummy. I love a thin, crispy crust. It doesn't really shock me that the waiters were fawning over Shanleigh!

I had that tuna sandwich at Pop last year, and it really is SO big and yummy! The chips are good, too.

Shanleigh always looks so gorgeous in her pictures! And she dresses so nice too. No wonder the water fillers at Via Napoli were tripping over her! :lmao:
Your meals look yummy! I have to admit, I've never eaten there before and part of the reason I hesitated were the veal meatballs. Maybe some day I'll try them... :confused3
Too full for a GGS! First time I've read that here on the Dis... :lmao:

You didn't have room for a GGS???? I am in shock! :rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl2:

You are a better woman than me...I would have been glaring at that "grandpa" and probably would have said something to. I just cannot tolerate ignorance and people feeling superior.

Sounds like a nice relaxing afternoon at the pool and then strolling Epcot.

I don't think I've ever known someone who doesn't like potato chips! Explains a lot about how thin and lovely Shanleigh is. I love potato chips and the older I get, the more you can tell :lmao:

Great PP pics. F&G fest is so beautiful. I made DD and DH stop for more PP pics than usual this year.

We tried Via Napoli for the first time this trip, and we loved it too! The pizza was amazing. I'm glad that Shan enjoyed her meal. I don't eat veal, but I make exceptions for meatballs. ;)

I literally laughed out loud about the 3 waiters falling over themselves to fill Shan's water glass while yours sat empty. Maybe next time, slide your glass in front of her!

Sorry about the rude table next to you. I wouldn't have said anything either, but I would have given them lots of dirty looks.

Too full for a GGS!!!

/
Loving your TR so far !! I especially enjoy your DD's sweet smile and I can see where she gets it from.

Too full for GGS ?? Is that even possible ?? :lmao::rotfl2:

Looking forward to reading more !!!

Mmmm... that Tuna Sandwich looks good and I gotta give props to Shanleigh for being able to resist those delectable looking potato chips. I would probably go for those instead of the sandwich if that plate was placed in front of me, they just look so GOOD!

Love the picture of you two in front of the EPCOT ball! So very very photogenic. :thumbsup2 to Via Napoli! Both the pizza and the meatballs look very good. Can't believe the table next to you, I just have no time for people who don't appreciate people who are working diligently to make sure their time is great :sad2: LOL @ the male waiters trying to talk with Shanleigh and forgetting your need for a refill. I'm sure most DISgirls on here would be very jealous haha

Sorry to hear the lady who usually does Jasmine's henna tattoos wasn't there. Always next time. (:

Can't wait to read more! :mickeyjum

That pizza looks delicious! I can't wait to try Via Napoli in September. What kind was it?

I hate obnoxious people. Some individuals forget that wait staff are still human and deserve to be treated with respect.... but that's another rant :mic:

Is the tattoo Henna? I didn't know they did such a thing there! I so want one when I go! Are they expensive? (I hope you don't mind me asking)

another great update! :cool1:

Augh, we had the worst patrons sitting near us last year at the Coral Reef! I'll never understand rude people! Glad you still had a lovely dinner-- Via Napoli is definitely on my must-do list for our next trip!

Your evening sounds so nice and relaxing....other than the obnoxious family seated beside you at Via Napoli...it's sad the way some people insist on behaving in situations like that.

Too full for a GGS??? I didnt think I would ever see those words come out of your mouth lol:cool1: :rotfl2:

Can't wait for more

No slushie!

Giiiiiiirl you gotta pound those. No excuses! :rotfl2:

And as usual, Shanleigh's outfit is adorable. From now on just assume I like her outfit! :lmao:

Rude people at restaurants make me so angry now that DH is a waiter. He's had some crazies. There's this lady that comes in like, every day. And sits at the same table. And she'll wait for an hour in an empty restaurant if someone is sitting there. And she's picky and rude and the most she's ever tipped anyone was 80 cents. Lol

Every should have to spend sometime in customer service maybe they would quit being so rude and having outrageous demands :confused3

Oh lucky you! My sister and her hubby have done the Oasis of the Seas and loved it! Have you set a date as to when this is happening?

We are going January 12, 2013..just booked it tonight actually! Looks like you had a fun time at Epcot that night. I really wanna try Via Napoli, that pizza looks amazing! Can't wait for more :)

Don't you hate when you are too full for a GGS. I hate when that happens. :lmao:

Dinner looks so yummy. Too funny that you never got you drink refill. That darn daughter of yours. :rotfl:

Ugh to obnoxious guests.

What a pleasant Epcot evening (minus the rude fellow diners :headache:).

I'm with Shannon - I have never actually met anyone in my life who didn't like potato chips! I wish I had that aversion.

The pizza looks yummy! We've never tried Via Napoli.

Two pretty ladies in the picture! :)

I realized as I was uploading the pictures for the next post that I didn't have very many!

:faint: Sorry, I was so shocked there, that I blacked out for a bit.

We decided on the tuna sandwich and oh lordy was it yummy and way more than either of us could eat alone!

I don't usually think of a tuna sandwich as being anything other then pedestrian. So that's really interesting.

That I used 'pedestrian' like that, that is.

Shanleigh doesn't like potato chips so she just had her half of sandwich and I had mine plus the chips....love me some chips!

Well, of course you do! Are you sure Shanleigh's all right? You have to love chips... I mean, it's a rule, isn't it???

After our delicious lunch we headed to the room to change and head to the pool...again, sorry, no pics!

:faint: What are trying to do to me??

We leisurely walked around WS or at least that's what I think we must have done because again, no pics

You're just trying to get me to pass out now, aren't you?

we loved this restaurant everytime we've been and we couldn't wait! Last year half our group tried the pizza and loved it so that's what I was going to have. Sorry that I had started eating before Shanleigh reminded me to take a picture!

That's okay. When it comes to good food, holding off while the requisite pics are taken can be pretty tough.

It was everything they said it would be but I only ate half!!

That's one of the things that bugs me about eating on vacation. When you get a big meal, you can't take it with you. Unless of course you have a fridge and microwave in your room.

Shanleigh decided on the spaghetti and meatballs and she loved her choice too! It took her awhile to get over the whole veal meatball thing but she soon realized she loved them and now has no problem ordering that dish;)

I have got to try that if/when I get back down there.

I always try really hard to be as polite and friendly as I can with wait staff. I think they work so hard for so little pay that it's the least I can do.

And that's not including you shouldn't piss off the person who can spit in your food.

At one point 3 of them came at the same time....all trying to start a conversation with Shanleigh, it was quite humourous....all I wanted was a refill on my coke....did I get it, nope:lmao:

:lmao: I promise you'll get better service when you come over.

After we said our goodbyes to the lovely staff we headed out and at this point I remembered to take out my camera.

Yeah, it's that rectangular thing hanging around your neck.

I was too full for a GGS so we just continued to walk and decided to take the boat to DHS and then catch the bus to Pop. It was such a beautiful evening we didn't want it to end!

Too. full.

Too. full. For a GGS.

Too full for a GGS.

The mind boggles.

Thanks for the chapter, Queen! :goodvibes

Those chips at POP are yummy!
Don't think I've ever met a person who didn't like chips before...:confused3
I wish I didn't like them so much. ;)

I can't wait to try Via Napoli. The pizza looks great!
Sorry your meal was sabotaged by the rude man next to you. Some people can be so rude.
Sometimes my DMom and I just look at each other while on vacation and wonder how some people think it's acceptable to behave the way that they do.
Rude & negative people do not belong in our happy place! ::yes::

My "girls"come home today...so that means they will be back in your city for the day.
I requested a treat from the Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory at the airport.
I'll let you know what I end up with.
My DMom wants to eat at Salisbury House. She said they had the best burgers back in the day when she used to live there.
They have been in business since 1931, they must be doing something right.

I just realized when I looked at my tickers that I didn't tell you about booking a quick trip in September. (5 days)
Very excited to enjoy all the fall decor and we will attend the MNSSHP! We loved it last year!

:scared:
See, too bad you guys aren't all going to be there together this year....you guys and the kids could do these missions and pooksma and Peg could, I don't know, maybe a cocktail or two in the World!

Hmmm....sounds like a GREAT plan to me :rotfl2: Pick us up on your way back by the GG stand, or the margharita stand,or....

See, I knew you would love that plan...I have to say though that not being there with all of you would make me very sad!

LOL...as I wrote that I thought "I am going to hear it from my friends on here".

It was so delicious I wish I could have eaten more and once again we both thought if Jeff was there he would have taken care of the leftovers! I do have to say the waiters were adorable, I would have liked them more if they filled my glass:lmao:

Years ago I used to say "all I want is a tuna sandwich" and now here it is!! It was so good and I can't wait to have it again!

:lmao:

Aww that's so sweet of you to say! She is a bit of a clothes horse:rolleyes:

There is something about Via Napoli that we love....probably the fact that I loved Italy when we were there and it's Shanleigh's dream destination!

I promise I'll never be too full again...even reading it now makes me:scared::lmao:

You didn't have room for a GGS???? I am in shock! :rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl2:

You are a better woman than me...I would have been glaring at that "grandpa" and probably would have said something to. I just cannot tolerate ignorance and people feeling superior.

Sounds like a nice relaxing afternoon at the pool and then strolling Epcot.

I'm disappointed in my self too;) It will never happen again, I promise:thumbsup2

It was so hard for me to not say anything but I knew if I did he was one of those people that the whole restaurant could hear and I just wasn't up for that! I feel the same way...treat others as you wish to be treated...they must not have received that message growing up!
