If you are a Small World addict, which I am , you will notice lots of minor differences but nothing really major. The colors are brighter and the backgrounds match the rooms better than they used to. The new entrance is really cool, all white and gold and sparkly!
The only problem I had is that music has changed slightly. The French girls used to say, "It's a small world after all...oh la la". I miss that!
There is not a huge change, but as a previous posted said it is cleaner. We really enjoyed it. They did a good job of making small changes and keeping the original feel, but with a small modern flair or something.
We were just there Labor Day weekend and I didn't see America represented . It got me thinking, was America represented on the old IASW? Is it maybe represented in the new one and I missed it? I dont really think so because I was looking for it?

I have to say that this was one of the best rehabs ever. All the dolls and props are sparkly new and bright. We always loved this ride, but it is even better than ever now! If only we could get a Buzz rehab.........
Another part to look for is the clock tower at the entrance. Try to be in line on the quarter hour (11:00, 11:15, 11:30, 11:45...) We were in line one time when the clock chimed - tooooo cute! That was DS's favorite part of the ride!

America is represented by only two dolls. One is an american indian and the other is a eskino. I can[t remember in which room they are in but they are on the back wall as you leave the room. We did a trivia hunt a couple of years ago ( it was for AP holders and that was one of the things we had to find) I needed up asking I don't remeber how many CM"S and finally one of them knew.

We were there in Nov. 2003 prior to the rehab, then in April 2005 shortly after the reopening. The clock tower (which can be seen from the entrance lines) is beautifully redone, with frequent chiming. The sound system is way better. It sounds great, whereas before it seemed almost muffled. It is also much brighter and bolder in lighting & color. We loved it before, and love it even more now. Good job.
