It's a Jolly Holiday with LL. *FINISHED* Final Update on pg. 58.

You descibe everything so well...its almost like being there. I was glad to hear your report on your Mary Jane Crocks. I have been trying to decide what shoes to take as well. :thumbsup2

LL---love the update as usual---except for the end--I always HATE when that part comes!!!! ;o) AND to make matters worse, you left us at the edge of the cliff hanging on by our mere fingernails!!!! I can't wait for you to continue with this!!! LOVE the hair in this update---looks great! So sorry about the rudeness of those people!!!

I have to tell you a quick story--don't know if I told you this before---I didn't even KNOW there WAS a cowboy scene in the GMR until this year---I have always stopped in the gangster section. Here's the difference--the first two big sections of the tram go to the cowboy, the back two sections of the tram stop at the gangster scene---just an FYI if you ever do want to see the other scene.

Okay---on with your TR PLEASE!!!!!!!!!! ;O)

I'm still here! I've been busy subbing so I'm just getting all caught up. Those turtle pictures are absolutely amazing. That is so cool he was right there while you ate.

Oh yes, and I love Full House (I own all 8 seasons on DVD...:teeth:) and of course the Disney World ones are my favorites. :goodvibes
I only own the first season but I do own season 1 & 2 of Punky Brewster. :goodvibes

Argh! You're killing me! Wait until the NEXT installment to find out about your ADR?!? OK... if I have to... ;)

I love Billy Joel too. :)

Special Mary Poppins exhibit?! :thumbsup2

Ok... I don't know how to make the umbrella work... what's the trick?? Shame on rude people!!!

Mary Jane crocs are what made the cut... interesting. I am in the midst of a shoe quandry myself.

More great pictures Miss LL!! :goodvibes
To make the umbrella work, you have to step on the metal grate on the ground. If you look in the pictures of Marc you can see it in both and you can see him stepping on it in the second one.
I know for sure that I will be buying more Mary Jane Crocs for my next trip. I kept searching all week for the pink Minnie MJ Crocs to buy while down there but when I got home I found out they don't have them in my size 11. BOO!

Yay a new installment

First off, you are the only people I've ever seen that look good doing that "I'm excited to be at...." pose. I look like a moron in everyone...like my arms aren't attached right to my body!

Secondly, there is nothing WRONG with loving Billy Joel. He's fabulous. Now I love Elton John. THERE is something that is "wrong on many levels!" Seriously Elton John/Billy Joel at the Garden was the best show I've ever seen and I will now bore you with my Billy Joel story.

When we were dating, Randy got me tickets for Elton John/Billy Joel for Xmas. BUT, he waited too long to go online so he got seats LITERALLY in the last row of the Garden...couldn't get further away from the stage. But I wasn't complaining because I love them. So, we are sitting in our crappy noise bleed seats and this guy comes up to us. He tells us that he works for Billy Joel and that Billy told him to come up to the people in the crappy seats and "trade them" for better seats. I IMMEDIATELY believe this a scam and tell my DBF (now DH) not to do it. He of course does not listen. The guy tells us that we have to switch our tickets with him and the deal is that he's not telling us where our new seats are until we trade. AGAIN, I say this is SCAM...and again my DH doesn't listen.

As it turns out...it was the one time in his life that DH was right :rotfl:

It wasn't a scam. The guy did work for Billy Joel and we got to sit in Billy Joel's "family and friends" section. We sat next to Barry and Elliot (the Jordan's Furniture guys). So there you have it...Billy Joel rocks! And we got 2nd row seats for the show!
:scared1: That is the greatest story EVER. We had nosebleed seats as well. I wish I had bought the tickets behind his stage because he had a setup that was open in the back. During the show he even made fun of us in the nosebleed saying, "Don't you wish you had bought the tickets behind me?" If he ever comes back *fingers crossed* I will buy those seats. Ahhh....Billy.

LL, I am completely teary-eyed that you took a photo with Bo -- Chelsea's "main man." Call me a sap, but you have made my night! I absolutely cannot wait to show Chelsea tomorrow morning -- she will be so tickled! :goodvibes

Now, I am going back to read properly. :rotfl:
I am dying to know if you showed her. I saw him and thought of the both of you.

I love this ride, too! Connor loves it, too -- I think I mentioned in my TR how he wanted to make sure Charles and Chelsea rode it with us this year -- oh, but remember, Charles slept through it. Pfffttt!
Silly Charles! I hope you don't pack any benadryl this year! :lmao:

Pssttt...Charles LOVES Billy Joel -- he would probably like to get his picture made with the handprints if he wasn't trying to maintain his cool! ;)
:rotfl: Okay. That is your mission for next year's trip.

NOOOO!!!!

Shame about the pushy parents! :headache:
Sorry! I am sure you could guess, there really aren't that many options at DHS!
I was so annoyed by pushy parents all week. I will not be like that when I have kids.

You descibe everything so well...its almost like being there. I was glad to hear your report on your Mary Jane Crocks. I have been trying to decide what shoes to take as well. :thumbsup2
Thank you so much. I highly highly highly recommend the Mary Jane crocs. They were perfect for park touring. They were supportive, comfortable plus they kept my feet cooler than sneakers. :thumbsup2

I think this was my best hairday all week. The rudeness really gets me. Just wait until the MNSSHP part, I almost lost my cool.

I figured that's what it was when we got to that part. I have always sat in the first part. Next trip I will have to sit in the second part. :thumbsup2

I already have a black pair of Mary Janes with Mickey and Minnie head jibbitz in them:love: . And I love them!!! For some reason I was thinking that I needed to take a different type of show as well. But I think I'm going to go with that good ole gut feeling of mine. And get a second pair of Mary Janes to take. THANKS A BUNCH!!! :goodvibes

I know what you mean about people treating you different cuz you are childless and in DW! It happens to me and my DH too! I think people really don't mean it, they just don't think! Ya know? Anyway, great update! I too love the GMR, it is one of the things I look forward to riding every visit. That and COP!

I wish I had listenend to my gut and brought both pairs of MJ's with me. Oh well, you live and you learn. The only complaint I had was that from my sneakers I had a blister and sometimes the bandaid would come off and stick to the crocs but that was just a minor annoyance. If I hadn't worn my sneakers I wouldn't have had a stupid blister! :rotfl2:

I am dying to know if you showed her. I saw him and thought of the both of you.

I did -- let me see if I can recreate it for you -- wish I could have videotaped it, because it was so funny.

Me (this morning): Chelsea, I have something to show you.
Chelsea(Bursts out into peals of laughter after seeing and reading what you wrote.): That's right! MY MAIN MAN!!!

Fifteen minutes later in the car, Chelsea pipes up: You know Bo makes everyone smile! (She was still thinking about it!) :goodvibes

Silly Charles! I hope you don't pack any benadryl this year! :lmao:

Nope, Uncle Benny is staying home! :rotfl:

:rotfl: Okay. That is your mission for next year's trip.

It totally is -- I am writing a post-it note to stick in the trip binder!

Sorry! I am sure you could guess, there really aren't that many options at DHS!
I was so annoyed by pushy parents all week. I will not be like that when I have kids.

Oh, I hope it is Brown Derby or 50's Prime Time -- I want to eat at one of the two next year!

I don't think I am ever a pushy parent because that kind of behavior gets all over me!

Oh hey- I actually just read your update and I NEVER KNEW the fountain from Splash is @ Hollywood Studios! Than I googled it and sure enough! Same one! AWESOMENESS! I flippin' love that movie!

Great update!

I totally know what you are saying about parents with children. I don't have any and people always look at me like "why don't you have kids with you?" Fools.

Anywho, where is that Mary Poppins mini-exhibit? I've never seen it before!

Great update! I love the Hollywood feel too. Your movie ride pics are great! I have a black pair of Croc Mary Janes that I love. After seeing yours I want to get some "fun" colors! They are so cute! :cutie:

Thanks! I can't wait to tell all of you the story of the Mom at MNSSHP.

The group of episodes w/the Family House trip to WDW is in my Netflix queue!

I'm gonna look for the Step-By-Step one too!
:thumbsup2

That is a great story on Chelsea's reaction! It made my day.
I think Uncle Benny MUST stay home.
You guessed the ADR. It was one of them. If you remember from my PTR, I had ADR's for both of them too. Hmmm. Which one did I pick?? ;)

I love Splash too! I haven't seen it in years. I am going to have to rent it!

Finally.
Caught.
Up.
Woo Hoo!!

Great update!

People in general are fools, in my personal experience. The Mary Poppins exhibit was right in front of the Chinese Theater where The Great Movie Ride is. :goodvibes

Great update! I love the Hollywood feel too. Your movie ride pics are great! I have a black pair of Croc Mary Janes that I love. After seeing yours I want to get some "fun" colors! They are so cute! :cutie:
Thanks! See, after wearing all my fun colors now I want a pair of black ones! :lmao:

Where did you get yours? I am thinking about getting another pair before my trip.
Shoebuy.com I can usually find a coupon online for them too, try retailmenot.com for the coupon code. I love shoebuy much to the dismay of my husband! ;)

Thank you! I have never been to that site. I will have to check it out. You can never have too many shoes right?;)

Great update! You know in all the times we've ridden The Great Movie ride we've only gotten the cowboy once! Still love that ride!
I am sorry about the rude kids! I' trying every hard to raise mine not to be rude! Unfortunately, it has lead to Em saying loudly in public, "that child needs a spanking!" The manners still need work.

Your pictures are so great! I feel like I'm with you every step. You were so cute "with Billy."

LL- thanks for the retailmenot.com tip! It just saved me $18 at shoebuy.com. Of course I went looking for MJ crocs and they didn't have good colors in my size but I still ended up w/ 2 other pairs of shoes...:sad2:
